Chapter Text
Sakura felt weaker. Maybe it wasn't the intention the others had, but he felt like he was now weaker in their eyes. He felt useless tears fall down his face, to which it didn't help the cold he was feeling thanks to his good-for-nothing window that was already having trouble closing, he felt like everything was going down this past few days. And even the slightest mistake made him want to cry. He thought he was being exaggerated, emotional even. Because crying over some changes wasn't something he usually did.
It was something he hated
He thought he was over it
And he cursed at himself for being wrong.

A new day started, and sakura lazily got up, crying made him more tired than he initially thought, he looked over at his phone grabbing it as he went to grab his uniform. He noticed he got up quite early but he brushed it off (as if waking up at 6 a dot and having fell asleep at 1 am wasn't bad (im looking at you reader)).
He slided into his shirt, put on his pants and school jacket, he went to wash is teeths before he grabbed his phone again and at the doorstep placed on his shoes and walked outside. The sky was still slightly blueish, but most locals were opening up, specially ones managed by the eldery people. He went down and maybe, thanks to the hour, not much people bothered him. More than a few comments of how young people had lot of energy by the older couples which made him blush.
He noticed kotoha had already open, at first he wanted to wait and eat something he could be given as he walks around but..out of pure instict he just walked towards pothos.
he entered and saw a quite surprised kotoha just getting ready to cook his sandwiches, she just looked at sakura slightly surprised before she spoke
-eh? Sakura?...it's weird to have you so early, you should sleep more you know?
She made that comment as sakura only huffed and sat down
-im not a child. I'll be fine with just a couple of hours...plus, shouldn't that also apply to you?, you're a year older only
Sakura pointed out as kotoha cooked the scrambled eggs. She softly stirred them around till they were great before grabbing some bread and carefully placing the scrambled eggs inside the bread, carefully closing the sandwich and cutting in to leave a triangle form. As she did so she calmly spoke
-im still older, even something as a year can make big changes. Anyway sakura, you should still take my advice, it's something that applies to all ages. Sometimes i have to remind the eldery people that they have to sleep early but they somehow manage to stay awake watching TV till midnight..they act like children sometimes, so a great habit since being young is great~
Kotoha finished speaking just as she finished putting the sandwich on a plate with some tomatoes in the side and a cup of warm tea. Tea at which sakura frowned
-why is it tea? You usually serve me coffee?
-mhm...well, drinking coffee every day it's not great, i thought a small change today would be great.
Sakura's frown deepen but before he could speak more the bell of the door made his sound, as two people entered, a blond haired guy cheerful as always greeted them
-good morning! Sakura-san, kotoha-san!
Then after him the red haired teen with an eyepatch spoke with his usual calm demeanor
-good morning, it seems we all woke up early, yes?
Sakura frowned slightly at nirei and suo before he greeted them back with a small nod as he started munching his food. The other two sat besides him beford nirei commented
-sakura-san...you're grabbing the sandwich upside down...and without tomatoes
-ah.
-...
Sakura thought does it even mattered how he held the bread??? As far as he was aware it didn't. The others chuckled slightly as sakura blushed and spoke
-that doesn't matter! And...i won't eat tomatoes i don't want to eat them today.
Sakura huffed before suo chimed in
-sakura-kun, it's important to eat everything in your plate~ say ah~♡
Suo spoke teasingly, (with) a fork he was given by kotoha, grabbed the tomatoes and did the small airplane to sakura's mouth as he blushed more from embarrassment and pushed suo's hand away
Sakura could tell. With his very own eyes and every single cell in his body...that that day...was going to be hard on him
