The TitaniKai
It had been a week since Nate and the others starred in Directator's movie, and life seemed to go back to normal for them...oh who were they kidding it wasn't normal in the slightest. Granted, their lives were never normal before the movie, but now they seemed to get more hectic than usual. It was okay at first, with some fans of the film simply asking for an autograph or a picture with one of them, but some fans proved more ravenous than others and actively stalked some of them. Luckily, these types of fans were quickly taken care of by Nate and Amy's yo-kai friends, Robonyan even gifting them a security system to protect their homes.
However, their fame wasn't the only thing that changed, Nate, Amy, and the rest of their friends started their freshman year of high school. Unfortunately, They soon learned that even in high school, yo-kai liked to mess with their school life. They later encountered Papa Windbag, Faux Kappa, Lie-in Heart, Yoodooit, Enerfly, and Enefly.
Nate opens his eyes before rubbing the sleep out of them. When he opens his eyes fully, he sees...a seagull? Nate stands up and sees that he is on a ship. "Oh No! Oh, not again!"Nate exclaims before a film crewman says, "Star is on the set!"Nate looked back and saw the Directator and his film crew "Please let this be a dream."Nate pleads. Directator rushes in front of him "What's happening, kid, I bet you're super excited to be here!" Directator exclaims. "No, not really," Nate says curtly. This, however, was not what the director wanted to hear. "Cut, let's take it again!" Directator says, and the crew member with the film slate rushes by snapping said film slate. "You may call me Directator, the genius film confabulator!" Directator exclaims with his megaphone directly in Nate's face before he backs away into his chair.
Nate slumps while being exasperated at the movie-making yo-kai "Seriously, dude, it hasn't even been a full week. So what's the torture this time?"Nate questioned. Directator flies next to him "It's really good you'll never guess. Let me paint you a picture: a giant boat, some kissy scenes, a big block of ice, and maybe an explosion or two. Sounds exciting, right? Never been done before."Directator says smugly while his crewmen nod. Nate however, immediately sees the plagiarism "I'm pretty sure you're just describing the movie Titanic!" Nate exclaims incredulously. Directator is undeterred. "Yes, but that was before the higher-ups gave us a script that evolved my masterpiece to its truest form!"Directator shouts passionately.
Nate sweatdrops but finds solace in the fact that the script wasn't made by Directator 'Well at least I won't have to read another garbage script.'Nate thought while Directator continued to gush about his latest masterpiece. "It's got everything! Action, Comedy, Romance, and twists that will catch you hook line, and sinker! Yes, that is what all are gonna wanna see when they watch my newest masterpiece: TitaniKai Pirates!"Directator proudly announces. Nate tilts his head "Wait so this is supposed to be a pirate movie?"Nate asked.
However, his attention was caught when he heard one of the crewmate's announcement "Lead Actress #1, on the set!"The film-slate crewmate announced, "Wait Lead actress?"Nate questioned. Directator floats to his other side "Of course, you gotta do those romance scenes with somebody." Directator said nonchalantly. Nate thought for a moment 'The last female lead was Amy... so that means the lead actress is..." Nate hears steps behind him and turns around to see Amy wearing a teal blue gown with a black shawl.
What confused him was the blush on her face. Thinking for a moment, an idea enters his mind "Uhh Amy. how much of that did you hear?"Nate hesitantly asked. Amy's blush became deeper "Everything after the Directator announced his movie's title." Amy said shyly. Nate blushed as well when he realized that the person he would have to do the romance scenes would be Am- "Lead Actress #2, on set!" The film slate crewman interrupted his thoughts. Nate and Amy looked at him in confusion before they heard a familiar scream. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Nate and Amy rush toward the scream only to freeze in shock to see who the scream came from. Sitting on the deck was none other than Katie, wearing a similar outfit to Amy but with a black gown and white shawl. Katie frantically looked around not knowing how she ended up here. She remembers going to bed last night and when she woke up she was on a cruise ship while wearing an admittedly nice-looking new outfit.
Nate and Amy looked at each other anxiously, it was one thing if a new yo-kai got dragged into this but having one of their human friends here was a different matter. They both knew that they couldn't keep her in the dark due to the Directator. It wasn't long before Katie finally spotted them. "Nate? Amy? What are you two doing here? Where even is here?" Katie frantically questioned the duo.
Nate and Amy glance at each other once more before sighing. "Well, there's no point in hiding it. It'd only cause more harm than good to keep her in the dark." Amy concedes with Nate reluctantly nodding. Nate looks towards Directator "Hey Directator, How is Katie gonna be able to see you guys?" Nate asked. Directator grabs his chin while thinking "Well since this is my set she should be able to see me and the crew fine but it might be counterproductive if she can't see the rest of her fellow actors." said Directator before snapping his fingers and pointing to one of the crew members "You there, go get that girl a Model Zero ASAP!" Directator commanded and within 2 minutes the crewmember returned with a model zero for Katie.
Amy grabs the watch from the crewmember. "We'll take it from here," Amy says curtly before walking up to Nate and Amy. Nate walks up to Katie and holds his hand out to help her up. Katie looks hesitant as she still doesn't understand what is happening but Nate gives her an encouraging smile and Katie slowly takes his hand. When Katie took his hand, Nate pulled her to her feet and caught her when she stumbled into his arms. Nate failed to notice the blush on Katie's face due to how close they were, Amy saw this and frowned.
The two separate, much to Amy's relief and Katie's slight disappointment, and Nate and Amy soon tell Katie about yo-kai and their adventures with them, leaving out that they were Kamen Riders. Safe to say, Katie was shellshocked "Wait wait wait, let me get this straight. When we were bug catching Nate freed a yo-kai from a capsule machine, said yo-kai became his butler, gave him a watch that let him see and summon yo-kai, he met a cat yo-kai that turned out to have been Amy's late pet, Amy got a yo-kai watch of her own, and since then you both have been dealing with this stuff on a near daily basis. Did I miss anything?" Katie asked incredulously. Nate hummed "Well I wouldn't say daily, though it does feel like it happens twice a week." Nate clarifies with Amy nodding
Katie's eye twitch 'I don't think they understand that that doesn't put me at ease in the slightest.' Katie thought before taking a deep breath. "Ok so other than that, the one who brought us here is a yo-kai named Directator and he wants us to star in his latest 'masterpiece'. Did I get that right?" Katie asked to which Nate responded with a helpless shrug "Pretty much, we can't go home until we help him make the movie." Nate said as Katie put on the yo-kai watch she was given.
It was at that moment Directator came into the conversation. "All right people, it's time to get this show on the road. The other actors are coming soon so familiarize yourself with those of you currently here." Directator shouts into his megaphone. Whisper dressed in a captain's uniform while wearing a fake beard flies over to the trio. "Hey look I'm the captain. Wait a minute, is that Katie?" Whisper asked wondering why she was there. Amy instructs Katie on how to use the watch and when she finally sees Whisper it startles her before Whisper formerly introduces himself.
Suddenly, a huge shadow covers them. When they looked up to see what it was they were shocked to find a flying black pirate ship with black sails and a jolly roger that had a black ghost on it. Whisper screamed and pointed at something coming up from behind their ship, it was yet another pirate ship. This one was painted red with yellow sails and a jolly roger that had a red cat on it. Ropes are thrown onto their ship as the ones on the ship boarded the TitaniKai. They are shocked to find that it was none other than Jibanyan, Komasan, and Komajiro, from the red ship, and Emiko and Blizzaria, from the black ship.
Jibanyan had a white button-up under a long rugged crimson coat that reached down to his knees, blue pants with a dark leather belt around his waist that had a flintlock pistol and a cutlass attached to it, and a red tricorn hat with gold accents.
Emiko was wearing a similar attire to Jibanyan with a black coat and white pants, she wore black boots as well as black fingerless gloves, she had a black leather belt with a cutlass and strapped to her back was a blunderbuss.
Blizzaria was wearing a white button-up, black vest, shaggy blue pants, and black leather slip-on shoes and had two flintlock pistols around her waist, on her head was a light blue bandanna with a snowflake on it.
Komason and Komajiro were wearing the same thing as Blizzaria only with white and brown swirls on their pants respectively.
Directator flies past them looking as excited as always "Finally everyone's here now let's get this show on the road, or sea in this case!" Directator shouted passionately. The ones who were here for his last movie had deadpanned expressions on their faces. "Let me guess, he captured us again to make another masterpiece." Jibanyan dryly said knowing the answer.
Directator snapped his fingers and soon they were in the lounge area of the ship with one of the crewmembers passing out the script for the movie. "Alright, each of you read the script front to back and memorize your lines. When you're ready let me know so we can begin filming." With that said Directator left without another word.
Katie looks at the other yo-kai nervously having used the watch to see them. This was all just so overwhelming for her. When she went to bed last night she expected to wake up to a nice Saturday and maybe hang out with her friends at the mall like any normal person. What she did not expect was to wake up on a ship, find out yo-kai exists, and have to act in a movie AGAINST HER WILL!!!
She jumps when she feels someone tug on her gown, when she looks down she finds Komasan looking at her with concern in his eyes. "Are you okay miss? I noticed ya didn't seem to be feel'in the best." Komasan asked. Katie only relaxed slightly as Nate and Amy told her about some of these yo-kai, Komasan included. "Honestly, not really. Everything is just so overwhelming and its been happening so fast I can't keep up and I feel like I'm gonna break down at any moment!" Katie ranted anxiously.
Komasan frowned and thought of what he could do to help. A metaphorical lightbulb went off in his head and she motioned for Katie to bend down to his level. Katie was confused but nevertheless complied and bent down to where she and Komasan were at eye level. Komasan gently took both of her hands into his own. "Whenever I get scared it always helps when do this handy breathing exercise I saw on a TV once," Komasan said as he recounted when he got nervous from losing Komajiro at the mall
Flashback
Komasan was running around the mall and frantically searching for his little brother. He finally stopped while breathing heavily."I was looking high and low but I couldn't find him anywhere. I was so afraid I'd never find him My heart was pound'in like a drum at a festival. Luckily I happened to be at the electronics section and came across this breath'in exercise." Komasan looked at the TV where the person on the television was explaining and demonstrating a breathing exercise to help calm someone's nerves.
Komasan did as instructed and after a couple of minutes, he was finally calm enough to think rationally. After some thought he finally realised where Komajiro was. "Thanks to that handy exercise I realized that Komajiro was at this new music store he told me about on the way there." Komasan arrived at the music store to find Komajiro looking frantically for his big brother. When he spotted his big bro he ran over and hugged him.
Flashback End
Komasan smiled kindly at Katie "...I ended up teach'in it to Komajiro to help him calm down. Just follow my breath'in." Komasan instructed and while hesitant at first, she did as told she was and tried to copy his breathing. Surprisingly after a few minutes of doing it, she was able to calm down and finally process what had transpired.
Katie looked at Komasan in a mix of astonishment and gratitude. "Wow, that actually really helped. Thanks so much Komasan, I feel so much better." Katie said gratefully. Komsan rubbed the back of his head with a blush of embarrassment. "Aww it was nothin, just help'in out in any way I can," Komsan said humbly.
Komajiro walked up to the two "Everything okay bro? I saw you guys do'in that handy exercise ya taught me and I got mighty worried." Said Komajiro frowning. Katie looked slightly apologetic "Sorry for worrying you. I was feeling nervous and your brother helped calm me down." Katie apologized. Komajiro looked at his brother In astonishment "Wow, you really are amazing big brother!" Komajiro exclaimed with stars in his eyes. Komasan's face turned more red "It was really noth'in special. Anyway, we better get to memorizing this here script so that we can leave." Komasan said while pulling out his copy of the script.
Katie and Komajiro nodded and regrouped with the others. Nate and Amy asked if she was okay but Katie assured them that she was fine now thanks to Komasan.
They all read the script and to the relief of those the Directator kidnapped previously, it was actually a good script. The movie starts on the well-known ship called the TitaniKai, known for it's speed and strength sailing through the seas in search of the legendary trident of Poseidon to use so the navy can control the seas. However, an evil pirate group, The Eclipse Pirates, takes over the ship. Nicholas, a navy cabin boy(Nate), Amanda, Nicholas's best friend and guest(Amy), Kaitlin, the daughter of the man responsible for tracking the Trident's location (Katie), and Captain Whistle(Whisper) abandon ship though and drift through the sea until they are found and rescued by the infamous pirate, Captain Crimson, who agrees to aid them in finding the trident on the condition that he get to use it.
Though reluctant, they agree and set out, but before they can go after the trident Crimson tells them that they must seek the aid of his most trusted friend , Captain Emira (Emiko). the captain of the Black Ghost, a ship rumored to sail the skies and fly down to wreak havoc on its enemies. They soon find Emiko and after some convincing, which confused the four as Crimson only talked about the dangers and the trials that lie in their quest, Emira agrees to help them.
Despite their reluctance to associate themselves with pirates, the four soon discover that Crimson and Emira are not like other pirates who are cruel and greedy. Crimson and Emira were pirates who wished to go on death-defying adventures, who did not wish to be tied down by concepts like rules, and who loved the freedom of a pirate. The quartet soon grew to enjoy their time with the pirates and their crew, Especially Crimson's first mate Masan(Komasan), his little brother Majiro(Komajiro), And Emira's first mate Frosty(Blizzaria). They found it much more enjoyable than their constricted life. There was a bit of tension as Amanda and Kaitlin were both competing for Nicholas's affection.
They soon discover that the trident will appear in the heart of the most treacherous storm ever seen and when they venture in they are found by the Eclipse Pirates and after an epic pirate battle, they emerge victorious and claim the trident. However, instead of returning to their life chained down by society, Nicholas, Amanda, Kaitlin, and Whistle decide to become pirates under the moniker of the TitaniKai Pirates with Nicholas as their captain, Much to Crimson and Emira's delight. The three captains set off in search of their next adventure.
Overall this seemed to be a really good script, with Jibanyan and Emiko enjoying that they would be pirate captains. They were a bit iffy on the storm bit but they felt it should be fine if they're careful. Emiko shuts her copy while giving a satisfied nod "This definitely seems like a good script. Good thing too as I'm not sure I could hold myself back if it was another terrible one." Emiko stated. Katie and Komajiro were confused by what she meant by that but brushed it off.
Nate stood up from his chair. "All right, we've memorized the script. Now let's get this done so we can all go home." Nate said pumping his fist into the air. "YEAH!" They all shout in enthusiasm. They return to the Directator and begin to make the movie. Nate and the ones who went through Directator's movie business before were getting the hang of it. Katie and Komasan were still getting used to it but did good jobs. Jibanyan and Emiko seemed to really get into their roles as pirate captains.
Soon it was time for the battle in the storm and the ships were entering said storm. Waves were like mountains and the lighting danced across the sky as thunder boomed. Directator screamed into his megaphone. "All right people, we're in the home stretch. You've all read the script and know what's gonna happen. I want to see action, emotion, and heart-pounding suspense that will keep our viewers on the edge of their seats. Now...Action!!" Directator announced as they all ventured into the storm
When they spotted the opposing pirate team, they realized something was very wrong when instead of actors, the ship was filled with dark yo-kai, and on the captain's deck were two yokai.
One was a slender woman with light gray skin who had silver gray hair parted to the right side of her face, covering it, leaving only her left eye visible. It has a yellow iris with red sclera. She also has a single black horn pointing upwards on the top of her head. She has a dark purple kimono with milky pink snake patterns on her wide sleeves, and a similar pattern on her lower body, along with an inner layer of clothing of the same color, a dark purple ribbon circling her upper body, and a fuchsia choker. She sports a Wicked flame in the form of a hairpin on the right side of her head.
The other one is noticeably shorter than the first. He has a pudgy body with gray-white skin, thin arms, short legs, and two fuchsia dot-like eyes with buckteeth, as well as two horn-like protrusions on top of his head. He has the same color scheme of clothing as the women next to him, in particular, his being an oriental top colored dark purple with milky pink linings and the trademark hot-colored Wicked flame in the center. He also wears milky pink wristbands.
Directator frowned "What is it with people hijacking my movie crew? I really gotta start hireing better security." Directator lamented. This immediately got them all on guard. The mysterious woman chuckled "It would not do much, I am Unkained and my associate is Unfairy, we are one of the five Wicked Executives although I suppose it's four thanks to you all. Now all Wicked attack!" Unkaind commanded as the finally named Wicked yo-kai boarded their ship.
Jibanyan drew his sword and pointed it at them. "Prepare for battle! Don't falter, " he commanded. Jibanyan, Emiko, Blizzaria, and Komasan charged into battle without hesitation, fighting off the wicked that were attacking. Nate and Amy looked at Katie, who was trying to avoid the fight entirely alongside Komajiro. While they didn't want to, they were going to have to reveal their identities to protect everyone.
Meanwhile, Jibanyan was dodging attacks from Unkaind left and right. Jibanyan was laughing all the while "Grr.. and just what are you laughing about you wannabe pirate cat." Unkained asked irritated. "It's funny that you think you stand a chance against me and my friends." Jibanyan said smirking. Unkained raises an eybrow "Oh? And just what makes you say that?" Unkained asked in disbelief. Jibanyan's smirk widened as he advanced while slicing any Wicked that approached him. "We've faced countless opponents together and we'll do the same cause we have people to protect. It's for that reason you'll lose."Jibanyan explained
Unkaind laughed mockingly at what she believed were the ramblings of a fool "You really believe that. You're a fool-no you're insane! You really think you can ever hope to best the power of the wicked."Unkained said. She did not expect Jibanyan's mad cackle. "Fool? Crazy? All right I'll gladly take those titles and wave my fool flag high. If letting go of logic means staying true to my ideals...If being crazy means forgetting my weakness and fear...Then I'll take you head-on with the power to protect my friends as a crazy fool!" Jibanyan said.
His sentiments were echoed by Emiko, who was tearing the wicked apart left and right. "We all have people we wish to protect, something we're fighting for, and we'll keep fighting for it no matter what obstacle stands in our way!"Emiko exclaimed as she ducked under a swipe from the wicked. She gives the wicked a scary grin before incinerating it in black flames.
Unfairy was swiping at Komasan with his sharp claws. Komasan kept dodging and landing some firey punches at Unfairy. Unfairy was getting irritated "Aw man your getting annoying." Unfairy complained when he spotted Komajiro hiding from the fight. Unfairy grinned evilly before charging at Komajiro, claws ready and poised to strike. Komasan looked at where Unfairy was headed and his eyes widened in horror. "Komajiro, look out!" Komasan warned as he rushed to save his brother.
Komajiro saw Unfairy charging straight at him and was frozen in fear. Komasan realized he wouldn't make it in time. Unfairy swiped his claws as Komasan cried out "KOMAJIRO!!"
SLASH!!
Komajiro had his eyes closed but questioned why he didn't feel any pain. He slowly opened his eyes and was shocked to find Katie standing protectively in front of him, Her back taking the force of the attack where there was a noticeable claw mark and blood was dripping from the wound. Katie gasped from the pain before giving a relieved smile to Komajiro "Thank goodness...you're...okay..."Katie said, her voice strained. She falls forward much to Komajiro's horror.
Nate and Amy watched in horror at what happened as they were just about to transform before Unfairy attacked "KATIE!!" Nate and Amy cried out as they rushed to check on their friend. Nate held Katie in his arms as the girl seemed to be in great pain. Katie looked at them "Don't worry...I'll be fine...just make...sure you don't...get hurt." Amy said more concerned with her friends' safety than her own. Unfairy let out a cruel laugh "She really took that attack for that runt? How stupid can you be!?" he bellowed mockingly.
This enraged Nate and Amy as Nate gently leaned Katie on the wall. Nate gave a harsh glare "Laughing at someone risking their life for a friend... Just what do you take human lives for!?!?"Nate yelled enraged. It was at that moment, something in Whisper's pocket began to glow. Whisper took out an old fan and it finally dawned on him what it was...
Flashback
Whisper was alone in Nate's room as he was running an errand for his mother and Jibanyan was at a Nyext Harmeowny Concert. Whisper was hyper-focused on the new update to his Yo-Kai Pad. "Oh Steve Jaws, you've done it again. This new update is so innovative." Whisper fawnned. Hidabat opened Nate's closet and approached Whisper "Hey Whisper, I was able to obtain this old fan that belonged to the Warrior Monk Benkei. Could you give this to Nate when you see him?" Hidabat asked politely. Whisper unconsciously took the fan while not even looking up from his device. Hidabat, not knowing Whisper wasn't paying attention, thanked him and went back into Nate's closet.
Flashback End
Whisper sweatdrops as he completely forgot to give it to Nate, in his defense the update was so amazing, The new screen recording function was just so amazing, Steve Jaws said so! Meanwhile, Nate and Amy put on their Drivers and activated their Eyecons.

Katie is shocked seeing that her friends are the Kamen Riders that have been helping the city. "Nate?...Amy?" Katie said, her voice barely a whisper. Ghost and Specter pull back their hoods and prepare to join the fray. Whisper quickly dashes in front of Ghost with the fan. "Nate quickly, use Benkei's fan and gain his power, "Whisper yelled frantically. Ghost would normally question where Whisper got the fan but he'd ask later. He drew a seal on the fan and a white hood flew out before striking a pose.
Ghost looked at Benkei "Benkei... Let's show them why it was a mistake to mess with our friends!" Ghost said with conviction. Benkei nodded before flying into the Ghost Driver and his Eyecon appeared. Ghost activated the Eyecon before inserting it into the driver
KAIGAN! BENKEI!
ANIKI! MUKIMUKI!
NIOUDACHI!
Ghost took out the Gan Gun Saber in naginata mode as a spider robot appeared and combined with the Gan Gun Saber, turning it into its new hammer mode. Ghost charged at Unfairy who charged in as well. Unfairy tried to slash him with his claws but Ghost effortlessly parries it before striking him in his side. Unfairy jumps high into the air preparing for a strike from above, however, Ghost counters this by delivering a rising swing of his weapon in his opponent's face, effectively sending Unfairy spinning in the air. Unfairy landed on the ground with an unceremonious thud. he stood up to get his bearings.

But Specter wasn't having it as she blasted him in the back with the Gan Gun Hand. Unfairy once more tried to stand up before Ghost kicked him into Specter's direction who once again blasted him back towards Ghost who struck him with the Gan Gun Saber. Before Specter could fire again, Komasan rushed at Unfairy and delivered a furious barrage of punches before giving him a strong uppercut. Komsan glared at Unfairy "That was for Katie and try'in to hurt my little bro." Komasan said coldly.
Meanwhile, Emiko and Blizzaria had finished up with the rest of the wicked and went to help Jibanyan with Unkaind. Unkaind saw she was outnumbered as well as seeing the state of Unfairy knew they wouldn't last long. "If I am to go down, I shall take you all with me." Unkained screamed as she raised her hands and cause the ships to begin being sucked into a whirlpool.
Whisper saw this and quickly manned the helm and frantically tried to steer the ship away from the whirlpool. Unkaind called wildly "I just have to stall you long enough for you all to die as well."Unkaind gloated. Jibanyan and Emiko didn't seem bothered "That just means we gotta deal with you quickly." Emiko said confidently. Unkaind felt extremely cold and when she looked down she realized Blizzaria had frozen her in place. Jibanyan surrounded his sword in red energy while a shadowy aura covered Emiko's clawed hands. They both unleashed their new techniques as Blizzaria fired her Soultimate.
"CRIMSON SLASH!"
"SHADOW CLAW!"
"SHINY SNOWDRIFTS
Jibanyan slashed the air as a crimson arc of energy was fired with the same happening to Emiko as she sent a cross slash at Unkaind while Blizzaria blasted Unkained with a sparkling ice formation. The three attacks combined before Unkaind exploded in a burst of power. Jibanyan tips his hat with a grin "That's check...matey" Jibanyan said finally. At the same time, Ghost, Specter, and Komasan were preparing to finish off Unfairy.

Ghost scanned the Gan Gun Saber of his driver "My life is burning bright!" Ghost exclaimed Spector scanned the Gan Gun hand over her own driver. Several weapons surrounded Ghost as he aimed the Gan Gun Hand at Unfairy. "I'll show you my way of life!"Specter shouted.

Ghost smashes the ground and six weapons appear before rocketing towards Unfairy. Specter pulls the trigger and Unfairy is repeatedly shot at before Komasan's attack finishes him off. The merciless onslaught causes Unfairy to explode while crying in agony. With the battle won on both fronts, Ghost and Specter cancel their transformations. Nate and Amy rushed back to Katie and saw Komajiro with a med kit bandaging her wound. "One of the crewmen came with a medkit and gave me the supplies to treat her wound. I thought it was the least I could do." Komajiro explained.
Komasan walked over to Katie and bowed deeply "Thank you for sav'in my little bro. I can't be more grateful."Komasan said earnestly. Katie smiled with a wince from the pain. "It was really nothing. I'm just glad everyone is safe," said Katie. Katie stared at Nate and Amy "Thanks to you guys especially" She said before giving them a smile that said she expected an explanation. Nate rubbed the back of his head as Amy scratched her cheek, both letting out embarrassed laughs.
Directator couldn't contain himself anymore "Now that was movie magic! The Heart! The Soul! The Passion! That. Is. A. SCENE!"Directator said utterly giddy. Directator paused before frowning at Katie's condition " All though it may be a bit difficult for her to act with that injury. We may have to wait until it fully heals to do the last scene." Directator considers, hey he was a passionate filmmaker, not a monster.
Katie shakes her head and stands up despite the others' protest. "No, like you said it's the last scene. I can do it so we can all go home." Katie said. Seeing the determination in her eyes, Directator couldn't help but be moved "Such motivation, you can be certain that your commitment won't go unappreciated. You heard the lady let's get this done!" Directator instructed. They were all concerned for Katie but knew there was no talking her out of it. The best they could do was make sure they did the last scene perfectly so they could end this quickly.
They did indeed do it perfectly as the ending showed the three captains preparing to set a course, in search of the next thrill at sea. "...AND THAT'S A WRAP PEOPLE! I can't thank you enough, you have made my newest masterpiece a guaranteed success!" Directator celebrated. Nate hurriedly nodded. "Yeah, the movie is done now, good for you. Now can we worry about Katie's injury."Nate said impatiently. The world started to blur and before Nate's vision went dark he heard Directator "Don't worry, I'll take care of it.
Forester House
Katie opened her eyes to see the ceiling of her bedroom. She groggily sat up and looked around to see she was in her bedroom. "Was it all a dream?" Katie asked herself. Her mind was racing. Deciding to go out she changed out of her pajamas. However, as she was changing she paused and looked at her mirror with her back facing it. There was a noticeable scar that looked like it came from a sharp claw on her back. It was only then did she also noticed a familiar watch on her desk with a note beside it. Katie quickly changed, picked up the watch, and then read the note.
Hey kid, thanks so much for your part in my masterpiece. I made sure to get the best doctor around as compensation for that injury. They said it'll leave a scar and to let them know if you feel any other noticeable back pains. I also left you that watch as a gift. Get Well Soon! -Directator, the genius film confabulator!
Katie looked at the note in shock. "It wasn't a dream..." She mumbled, eyes wide. Downstairs, Katie's mother, Rebbecca Forester, was doing the dishes when she saw Katie rushing downstairs. "Morning Sweet-" Rebecca started before her daughter interrupted her. "Sorry Mom, can't talk! Gotta go, love you, Bye!" Katie said so fast her mother barely understood what she said. The mother couldn't even get the chance to ask where she was going before her daughter slammed the door. "What on earth has her in such a rush?" Rebecca wondered.
Adams House
Katie ran to Nate's house before catching her breath at the front door. After calming down she nervously rang the doorbell. She waited patiently before Lily opened the door. Lily smiled at seeing Katie. "Ah Katie, so nice to see you. Nate and Amy have been waiting for you." Lily greeted. Katie looked surprised to see that Nate's mother expected her to come before realizing what else she said.
Katie acted natural though, fitting since she was technically an actor now. "Yeah, where are they exactly?" Katie asked. Lily casually pointed upstairs "Oh they're up in Nate's room. They even brought snacks and drinks for your little get-together." Lily said. Katie thanked the women and went upstairs to Nate's room. When she opened the door she saw Nate and Amy waiting for her... as well as their yo-kai friends. Nate had a slightly nervous smile "Hey Katie, guess we got a lot more to catch you up on huh?" Nate said. Katie stood there, her face unreadable, for a few seconds. A smile soon came onto hers as well "Ya think?" She said chuckling.
