Alex felt someone poking his cheek. Who was it..?, Alex thought. But when he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was a little girl from the corner of his eyes. Flincing, he squealed.
"Hi, dad 2.0 !!" Said she.
Is this his daughter..?
Behind the girl, there stood a boy shorter and younger than her. His age was probably 4-5 years old.
"I'm not your..dad but a character version of him..get out." He said, shifting his position in bed to look away from them. "Infact, you're kinda annoying."
The little girl scoffed but didn't left the room. "Not fair! I want to be friends with you, but you're being mean!"
Alex groaned, turning his head to glance over the girl. "No."
"Please, Mr. Dad's character?"
"..."
He wasn't buying it. Not once. No-no.. Oh god.
That puppy eyes works everytime. Is this some kind of a manipulator's trick to get what they want?
"Fine." He finally surrenders.
"Yay! So, hi! My name's Iris and this is my baby brother, Luke!" Iris gave a dramatic opening for Luke to step in..but that boy's a little shy.
Mama's boy, Alex thought when he saw Luke shying his way out to hide behind his sister. (Because Alex is motherless 😛😛)
Alex sat up from the bed, fixing his tousled hair. He let out a sigh of annoyance, but none of them were buying it. Iris instantly hugged Alex and spoke: "Welcome to the family, Mr. Dad's character!"
For the first time in all his 17 years of living, his heart softened when she said that. Returning the hug back, he muttered: "Thanks, Iris." Luke on the other hand, felt outcasted so he decided to hug Alex too.
Alex didn't seem to mind that the Redmayne-Bagshawe siblings are hugging him. Far away from the view, Hannah stood there and took pictures of them three hugging. Of course, she was in awe. (She indeed sent the pictures to Eddie later..)
"Oh and, my name is Alexander Forbes. Call me Alex."
"Okay, Mr. Alex!"
