Chapter Text
Numa's hands shake as he looks at the article. His hope of having a peaceful life fading, as he continues to read it. The light of the screen bright against the sky of the afternoon.
The setting sun blocked by the evergreen trees that surrounded Numa's way home.
His sigh breaks through the still silence, Numa runs his hand through his dark hair as he thinks of the probability of this just being a joke news report.
The keys jingle as he unlocks the door to his house. Today was the rare occasion that both of his parents were needed at work. Leaving him alone until 5.
Numa's phone vibrates and lights up, showing Julia ranting about the possibility of being the reincarnation of Princess Diana or another dead famous person.
He clicks the Do Not Disturb button, trying to forget about the day. The whispers about the news were everywhere, the classrooms, the canteen even the teachers were seen gossiping about it.
No matter that most people thought that it was fake, a little slither of Numa's mind was scared that someone might find out about him, might take him away from his life once again.
The light green colour of his room calms Numa's nerves down, even if people start to believe that reincarnation is real. It would take years before they could see who was a reincarnated person.
He still has plenty of time to have a average life.
