Chapter Text
Extra 3
A figure hidden by a cloak stood on the balcony of the Castle of Babylon. From there, one could gaze across all of Babylon, but because it was dark, only the torches and lights from the houses and the starry sky were visible.
"I thought you had already left," a voice came from behind him. Kisara entered the balcony.
"I wanted to say goodbye to you," the unknown man spoke in a male voice. The white-haired woman stood next to him and looked down at her kingdom.
"When you're standing here, don't you imagine that it's Atlantis?"
A sigh escaped the man. "Somehow, I feel like you can read my thoughts."
Kisara chuckled, "I have many secrets."
They stood in silence for a while, both gazing up at the starry sky.
Then Kisara raised her voice, sounding desperate, "Alex, I..." But she stopped as the man pressed his lips to hers. They stayed like that for a while, his hand resting on her waist. Their bodies pressed together.
"I know what you want to say..." Alex spoke gently as they broke the kiss. "But this is the only way to save the world. I promise, I'll come back safely."
"Will you come visit me?" she asked, placing her hand on his chest.
"Maybe. It will definitely take some time before I can really get started. I need to make sure the plan is truly safe, and I'll need allies." He placed his hand on her cheek, "In the meantime, remain a proud queen and keep Babylon safe."
She kissed him again, perhaps the last time for a long while. Afterward, he left the balcony. Kisara watched him until the door closed behind him. Then, she looked back at her kingdom.
How many years would pass before she saw him again?
