Chapter 6: Chapter 6 - The Siblings

Chapter Text

When Sakura entered the house, he was immediately blinded by the light emitted from the chandeliers. There were paintings on almost every wall and spiral stairs that seemed to go on forever. He's never seen this kind of house outside of shows and comics, which he barely ever got to chance to watch.

"Kura, do you like our house?" Haruto asked with a cheeky smile on his face. He already knew the answer to the question; he doesn't think a human's eyes could get any bigger than Sakura's right now.

"I-it's pretty nice," was all that Sakura said as he flushed red from his neck up.

Letting out a soft chuckle, Tsuyako quietly took Sakura's hands and led him up the spiral of stairs, with Haruto following close behind. She took him to a room that was way too big to be considered a bedroom; it was probably more like an apartment room. It had a built-in bathroom, a king-size bed, a massive TV, a couch, a place to play games, stuff that he could never even dream of, much less think of owning.

"This is where you'll stay for the time being. Haru and I will be just down the hall so yell if you need anything, but I think you should just give me your number just for efficiency reasons." Tsuyako whispered the last part to avoid being heard by her brother.

"Y-you'll have to put it in my phone, I'm bad at using it." And with that Tsuyako spent no time taking the phone from Sakura's hands and typing her number in it, saving her name as "Big Sis Yako."

"What the hell why'd you put that as your name."

"Because I hope we'll get close enough for you to start treating me like one."

"W-whatever," Sakura sputtered, turning red, not expecting that response, "Where's Haruto anyways?"

"Oh, when he was behind us on the steps I gave him a light push."

"You pushed him down the stairs?"

"Not really, I pushed him then he fell down the stairs, I think you were too fascinated by our house to hear him fall." Laughed Tsuyako as if it were the most normal thing in the world to push someone down the stairs. Sakura, on the other hand, was starting to get used to this kind of behavior. A couple seconds of silence go by when suddenly the air around them shifted. Loud stomps were making its way closer and closer, he instinctively got into a fighting stance on the pressure alone.

"Tsu-Ya-Ko, you're going to pay for that," Haruto had his teeth gritted, slowly making his way towards Tsuyako and skipping right past Sakura. The anger in his eyes evident as he raised his fists preparing to slam it down on his sister.

Tsuyako just raised one eyebrow while a smirk creeped onto her face, "what, mad I got Kura's number before you?" She said as she shoved her phone into her brother's face. The screen illuminating, showcasing the contact with the name "Kura <3."

Haruto's patience broke, and he charged straight as his beloved sister.

"Hey Suo, Sakura h-he'll... come back right," asked Nirei, voice hoarse from crying so much.

Suo didn't say anything, he remained silent looking at the ground, eyes clouded with guilt. There was a group of people boring their eyes into him. They had went to alert the rest for Bofurin about what had happened. Now they sit on the rooftop of the school, discussing how to find Sakura.

"Honestly this is ridiculous."

Everyone shifted their gaze to Kiryuu, who suddenly spoke up.

"What even compelled you to say that?"

"Kir-" Tsubaki tried to stop him, but it was no use.

"No, what makes you think you could just speak for the rest of us!"

Suo couldn't look up, he couldn't face him after what he's done.

"Undeserving of friends? All his friends get to decide not, not just you," Kiryuu exclaimed, getting louder with each statement.

"Now he's God knows where, he doesn't respond to our messages, and there's no way to find him and you can't even say anything! How can you just pretend it'll be fine if you just ignore the problem, you piece of sh-"

"ENOUGH," came Umemiya's booming voice. Kiryuu reluctantly shut his mouth and Suo ripped his gaze from the floor to Umemiya, shocked from the outburst. "Arguing with each other gets us nowhere, it won't help us find Sakura."

He sighed then continued, "We're Bofurin, we treat each other as family, we already lost a member we don't need more to leave."

Suo's seemed to finally snap out of his guilt induced trance from the statement and slowly opened his mouth to speak, "I... I'm sorry for speaking on the behalf of you guys and more making Sakura run away."

"You should be saying that to Sakura, not us," said Sugishita, but he earned a quick glare from Tsubaki.

"I know there is no excuse for what I said, but there is a reason."

"What's the reason, making new friends?" This time it was Kiryuu, he also earned a glare from Tsubaki.

"The people he met aren't just regular people, they're the heir to the biggest Yakuza gang in Japan."

The atmosphere around Bofurin chilled, they couldn't believe what they just heard.

Notes:

This is my first work so if it's ass please spare me. Also all the relationships can be viewed as romantic or platonic (except for original characters and Sakura. I plan on making them treat him like family/siblings).
