All for One was probably the most difficult person to research he had ever encountered. It was like all informationon him was buried under 18 layers of false information, some saying he had white hair others saying nonr at all. Somr say he has a quirk that allows him to force activate anothers quirk and some say his quirk is super strength. Not one pieceof informationmakes sense with another.
By the time he was meant to meet with Eraserhead he had the least amount of information he had ever gathered on anyone. No matter where he looked it was like all information was jumbled or erased. He figured if he had a bit more time he could probably get in the government database to check official records but he ran out of time to try, and had to go to the meeting with very little information. All he had was his name, appearance, and apparent level of influence in the underground. Just in case he grabbed the money he had been paid previously.
When he arrived at the bar to meet Eraserhead was already waiting. He pulled down his mask he bought with some of the money from his analysis to hide his identity. In person meeting always ran the risk of someone (most likely a hero) trying to find his identity, usually to arrest him. Luckily noone had been able to remove his mask and very few had tried. Only one person ever tried while inside the bar and they had been immediately banned.
When he met with Eraserhead it was the first time he'd been nervous in awhile. It was also the first time he wasn't able to get the information he'd promised in.. well ever. He wasnt sure how the man would react saying as he was known for always getting the information requested and he couldnt do it this time.
"Deku. I assume you brought the information i asked for?"
"I wish I could say yes. Unfortunately this guy's information was so buried in couldnt get it in this time frame. I can give you a refund, or a partial refund and try again but I'll definitely need longer. I dont know how long it will take to find everything I can on him."
"Keep all of it. Take all the time you need. I need information on him, anything and everything you can find. You're infamous for finding information on people so im sure you can find me when you're done."
Well now he has to visit Shigaraki. As much as he didn't want to it was his biggest connection in the underground, despite their differences. He wasnt going to risk not getting everything he could just because he disliked someone.
He showed up to the bar with his face mask on hoping to atleast delay his recognizement, but when Kurogiri answered the door with 'ah hello Deku' that hope was thrown put the window. Atleast Shigaraki didn't immediately attack him. So he walked in and sat on the couch across from Shigaraki and started asking questions.
"Shigaraki. It's been awhile. Im just here to ask a few questions then I wont bother you anymore."
"Ask your questions, then i never want to see you again. You could've been part of a great orginization, but instead you're on the losing side."
"I just want to know what you know about a man named All for One."
"Why do you need to know?" And crap Shigaraki sounded suspicious. He couldn't know he was selling this information to a hero or he would never tell him.
"Just filling out another page in my notebook, and I overheard the name. Couldn't find much on him but I thought you might. You seen well connected in the underground." How he came up with a lie that fast he doesn't know.
"Hm. You're right I do know him. I'll see if I can set up a meeting for you with him... if you rejoin the league of villains."
"Sorry I cant do that. Im freelance now I can't join a private group. I can help you out with free information, but I cant be solely part of your group."
"...Fine, I wont arrange a meeting for you but ill get you some basic information. Meet me on Thursday, with information on Present Mic and Midnight and I'll give you what I get for All for One."
There was no way in hell he was doing that. He of course said yes and left but he wasnt going to. It was Monday so he had a while to decide what he wanted to do for this. On Tuesday he decided what he was going to and prepared it quickly. On Thursday he met with Shigaraki. He had them both hold both folders and each let go at the same time. Luckily Shigaraki didn't try to trick him and let go at the right time. Then Deku ran away before Shigaraki could open it to see a bunch of blank papers and the word 'PSYCHE' on the back.
