REYNA POV
I was visiting Camp Half Blood for diplomatic reasons. I had been there for a few days and found the Greek camp to be very odd, there wasn't as many rules here as there were in Camp Jupiter, which felt weird. I kept feeling like I was accidentally breaking some rule I didn't know existed. Butit was still nice. While I was at Camp Half Blood I got the opprotunity to spend more time with Jason, after he lost his memories I hadn't gotten to spend any time with him on account of we had to save the world a lot, and I was so busy with duties at Camp Jupiter, I was greatful for the time since I had been worried when Jason dissappeared. We got to have some long talks and cleared a lot of water under the bridge between us. When he had first come back to Camp Jupiter he had been dating Piper McLean, that had made me upset since I used to have a crush on Jason. Although now I think that Jason dating Piper was a good way for me to get over him.
Just the other day I had a conversation with Jason, I liked having the chance to get to know Jason better, he was always so closed off before he lost his memories, and even though he doesn't have all his memories back, he seems a lot happier. He's so much different now, I think that also helped with getting over him, the Jason I had a crush on wasn't really there anymore, and that was okay. I still wanted to be friends with this Jason. When I spoke to Jason a few days ago we were in his cabin and I was asking about Piper and his other friend he seemed to like so much, I never knew much about them so I wanted to learn more.
"Well Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite, or uh Venus. She's really independent though, reminds me of you sort of. She likes Hello Kitty, Weezer, and she hates most of the cheesy action movies her dad stars in. She doesn't like chocolate that much and prefers strawberry flavored things." He explained to me.
"She seems nice," I shrugged, "What about that other kid you hang out with? The one who attacked New Rome?" I asked.
He winced slightly after I mentioned that, "Yeah... That's Leo, he was possessed by Eidolons though so that wasn't his fault."
I nodded, "Right."
"Let's see, Leo is the son of Hephestus, or umm Vulcan. He's a genuis, he's just as smart as Annabeth if not smarter, he's also just hilarious, he always keeps the mood light. He actually built the entire Argo 2 mostly by himself, and he did all the repairs himself. He's actually fireproof and can light himself on fire. That has caused a few problems in the past but he makes the best food, he's the best cook I've ever met. Sometimes it's a bit spicy though."
"That doesn't mean anything Jason, you're spice level is zero." I joked.
He rolled his eyes and laughed a bit, "Yeah, yeah. But seriously his food is so good you gotta try it sometime. He also had this giant metal dragon named Festus. Honestly if it wasn't for Festus I don't think we would've been able to complete the quest we went on. He also-"
Jason kept talking about Leo for what felt like forever. I could tell from the way his eyes lit up, or the way the scar on his lip moved when he smiled. Anyone with working eyes could tell that Jason liked this Leo guy. I didn't know if Leo liked him back.
A few days after that I was walking around Camp Half Blood when I saw, Piper, I decided to go up to her and ask her about this Leo guy since she knew him better than me. I was a bit nervous about talking to her since I didn't know her that well.
"So are you and Jason still dating?" I asked. Why did I ask that? I knew they weren't dating anymore.
"No we broke up," She told me, "but we're still friends."
I nodded, "What about the scrawny kid?" I asked.
"Oh, you mean Leo?" I nodded, and she laughed a bit, I hoped she wasn't laughing at me, "Leo couldn't get a girlfriend to save his life."
Girlfriend. Piper had specifically said he couldn't get a girlfriend. Does that mean he's tried to get a girlfriend before? That would mean he wouldn't be interested in Jason. If this Leo kid broke Jason's heart I'd have no choice but to kick his ass. That doesn't nessisarily mean he only likes girls, he could like guys too. There was still a chance for Jason, but I wasn't sure how much of a chance there was.
"Why do you ask?" Piper spoked up breaking my train of thought.
"Okay..." I spoke carefully as I considered telling Piper, I didn't want to violate Jason's privacy but Piper might know something that could help me. "You can't tell anyone but, Jason likes some guy named Leo and I thought since you were friends with Leo, and I'm friends with Jason we could get them together?"
"Okay. I'll help. Have you got a plan?" She asked a bit eagearly.
I reponded just as quickly thankful that she was willing to help, "Not really no. I was hoping you would kind of know what to do. I'm not the best at this whole romance thing so I was kinda hoping you had a plan."
She paused for a moment thinking, "we could get Jason and Leo to the same place but they probably wouldn't make moves so we would have to plant the idea jnto their heads. I kinda already did that with Leo just now so now we have to get them together in the same place." She explained.
"So where should we get them to meet?" I asked her.
"Maybe by the beach or somewhere important to them like bunker 9?" She suggested.
I nodded and we agreed to start the plan. It was sunset, so we decided to put the plan in motion as soon as possible.
