Chapter 10

Notes:

And that's it... The last batch of drabbles.

Chapter Text

Au: Yoongi is the devil and Jungkook doesn't know it.

" Heaven or Hell?"

"Hell. Heaven would be so boring, hyung."

Yoongi had been thinking…

It had been years since he moved his residence from Hell to the land of God's creation. He'd learned how to act like the rest of humanity, he was now well adapted to this world. Would it cause a problem if he decided to move back home?

“Jungkook-ah, where do you think you'll go when you die? Heaven or Hell?”

The young lad furrowed his brows, thinking hard for a second before giving up. “Hell. Heaven would be so boring, hyung.”

Yoongi felt so proud of this little monster, so happy he hugged the kid. Damn human emotions, they could make you sappy.

He knew their kind shouldn't have favorites, humans especially, but who fucking cares about rules?

“Then, I'll make sure to personally collect your soul when your time is up, kid.”

Jungkook taking that as a joke, laughed. “Cool. Now, go to sleep. You haven't been sleeping, have you? Seriously hyung, you're too young to be experiencing a midlife crisis.”

Yoongi only smirked.

Au: In which Yoongi is a psychologist and Jungkook is new patient

Yoongi adjusted his glasses as he scanned his new patient's record. “Are you still taking your medications, Jungkook-sshi?” He spoke softly,  observing the boy sitting across from him.

Jungkook swallowed before saying he do, “But they don't make me feel any better.”

Yoongi nodded, then scribbled something on his notes. “Can you tell me in what way those meds are making you feel?”

“More anxious, my hands keep sweating and the tremor haven't stopped.” A hint of sadness could be heard on the younger man's voice, but he was more frustrated than sad. “All I want is to feel better, I can't be like this all my life.”

Yoongi had to smile at that. “Positive thinking brings out positive vibes, positive vibes brings out positive results. You should start dropping all the bad things or you can embrace them. Then turn it to good.”

Jungkook didn't say anything after that but Yoongi knew it had an effect on the kid.

“Thank you, Dr. Min.” He said on his way out.

“I'll see you next week?” Yoongi was smiling, hopeful.

Jungkook's face brightened a bit. “Yeah.”

Au: In which Yoongi is a military and Jungkook is sick.

"Will you wait for me?"

"If I'll have enough time, yes."

For Yoongi, one of the scariest feeling while on service was getting a call back home.

Corporal Kim Seokjin was manning the line for private phone calls that day, if it wasn’t for him, Yoongi wouldn’t know that Jungkook was rushed to the hospital again.

A relapse, his mother had said, crying.

“I’m sorry, Yoongi-ah. I know Jungkook said not to call but --”

“Eomeoni, it’s okay. Please just stop crying.” He paused to take a breath, but it wasn’t that easy. “ He’ll be okay, right?”

The line was silent for a moment, “ Of course, of course. He’s a fighter. Always been.”

Yoongi was nodding his head with tears now rolling down his cheeks.

Leaving Jungkook to fight his own battle was hard enough, but not being there at times like this was even harder.

“Will you wait for me?”

Jungkook stared at him like he just asked the dumbest question in the world.  “It's just two years, Yoongi hyung. I'll be fine.” But Yoongi wasn’t sure of that and Jungkook knew he didn’t believe him.

“If I’ll have enough time, yes.”

“Do you know what scares me the most in this world, Yoongi-ah?

TIME.”

Au: "Do you want to know a love story?"

"Once upon a time there was the Moon. He couldn't live without his Sun.."

"Do you want to know a love story?"

It was a question Jungkook wasn’t expecting from a man like Yoongi. He shrugged, letting Yoongi know he didn’t mean some storytelling.

"Once upon a time there was the Moon. He couldn't live without his Sun.." Yoongi started dramatically...

After sometime, the story had finally ended. But it only left Jungkook feeling sad and hurt.

“There isn’t a perfect love story, Jungkook-ah. There won’t always be a happily ever after… but do you know why I like this story?” Yoongi asked, his gaze soft and tender. “That despite the misunderstanding, the obstacles and rare chance meeting, I know a time will come where they can finally meet again. It might be short-lived, but that’s enough time to kiss and makeup, and the world will stare in awe of their eclipse.”

An overwhelming feeling enveloped Jungkook. “Yoongi-hyung, are you by chance, in love?”

Yoongi suddenly laughed, his gums on show yet again. “We should probably make a song out of this.”

Jungkook perked up. “I’d like that.”

“Sun and Moon (cover) performed by Jungkook”

We were in heaven you and I

When I lay with you and close my eyes

Our fingers touch the sky

I'm sorry baby

You were the sun and moon to me

I'll never get over you, you'll never get over me

Notes:

Actually this is the first time I've written a BTS fic, also a first in a long while so I'm a bit nervous. Please leave a kudos and/or a comment, it would mean so much to me. Thank you for reading :)

Came back here to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the love you've given this collection. I have never imagined this would hit 3k views, it's been 3 years...

I'm still around, still struggling to write, still so in love with Yoonkook.
