Gao Tu woke to a bright light streaming through the windows of his and Shen Wenlang's bedroom.
“Good morning.” Shen Wenlang whispers, kissing his forehead.
“Good morning.” Gao Tu whispers in response. Rubbing his head against Shen Wenlang's chest and wrapping his arms around his waist.
“What time is it?” Gao Tu asked on the verge of falling asleep on his husband's chest.
“10:00 but I already told them that we will be taking the day off,” Shen Wenlang said, causing Gao Tu to sit up to protest but was cut off by the Alpha, “ no, no protesting, you need to rest, and I called Hua Yong. He is taking the children. So it is just you and me today.”
“Fine.” Gao Tu sighed laying back down on his husband.
They finally left their bedroom around 12:30, with Shen Wenlang sitting Gao Tu down at the table,
“You sit, I will cook today.”
“Thank you, ” Gao Tu responded, kissing Shen Wenlang on the lips. Watching as his husband cooks in the kitchen Gao Tu can't help thinking about how grateful he is. An omega born with nothing and forced to be a beta for the convenience of others. Now he is loved by an alpha that would kill for him, he and his sister have cut off their dad. He is happy. So very happy.
