The night was peaceful, some sound in the back, and nice weather.
The kind of night where you can use the silence and think for several hours.
And Chuya was laying on bed, wondering about what comes next, if his new classmates will try to know more about him,include him in his groups, or just keep doing their things as he just falls apart.
He doesn't expect a lot about this, if he could have a decent group, and focus on his thighs, that would be more than enough. Maybe make one or two friends, obviously not as cool as the flags, but someone to spend the time with sounds great.
In the end if this doesn't function it's only one year, and he has another chance in high school.
The next morning, another scholar year was starting again, with more friendships, romances, breaks, and the general dramas of a secondary school.
All the students were in the principal yard. It´s always funny looking at the first grade kids, being nervous and having a scared expression on their faces. The second grade ones are more relaxed. And the nostalgia starts to increase for the third ones.
And it's obviously the new entry ones, and if we are honest, being one of them sucks, especially in third grade.
The opening ceremony started, they presented the teachers and their classes, then the other adults working in the institution, the program they are going to follow, the extra classes, the student council, and it finished with a discourse from Fukusawa about the importance of a healthy scholar environment.
It was nice. -”You can go to your classrooms, and the new ones follow me to the installations tour”- said Kunikida
Now in the yard were about 20 people, the first grade kids were guided by Kunikida, Akutagawa and Sigma.
And the ones from a new entry by Atsushi and Dazai.
So he was there with 17 new second grade students, and Chuya.
Nakahara was freaking down, immersed in his thoughts.
And Dazai noticed about this, “You the red hair one, I know that I´m gorgeous, but stop looking at me at that gross way and start moving”
It was a joke to break the ice,he knew it pretty damn well, and it functioned, for every one, except Nakahra, cause when all were looking at him, he blushed, he realized it when he felt his checks burning, and it was not the kind you can hide, his face now is red, and all his body is burning.
He doesn't know why, he wasn't noticed he was looking at Dazai, but the attention, the comment, the fact that he was distracted, made him reacted like a fucking teenage girl when her oldest crush say hi or something like that, and he genuinely hates it.
It was all ruined, he must answer something or just ignore him, but blush?
It was the worst thing he could do, and the way all looked at him like a weirdo.
Atsushi tried to apologise for Dazai's behavior, and explained that he was always that way, but the damage was already done.
The next part of the trip was awkward for Chuya, there were more jokes, and silly comments, but nothing at that level.
And continuing with his unlucky streak, Dazai was in the same group.
But, not all was that bad, a guy called Tachihara invited him to eat lunch, and presented him with a nice group. All best of all, they agree that Dazai was an idiot.
In defence of Dazai, he had done that joke a lot of times, and everyone was fine with it, he didn't expect that reaction.
But here he is, listening to Kunikida's sermon.
-”Why did you think that was a great idea?. What part of "be nice” you don't understand?!!-”
-”But Kunikida, how would I predict that reaction”-
-”So now annoying new students isn't your fault, you are incredible!”
-”Ok,ok I recognize that was my fault”-
-”Now you have to compensate him”-
-” Me,What?”-
-”I don't know buy him a candy or something”-
-”But why?”-
-”Cause you have responsibilities, and can't go saying whatever you want without consequences”-
-”I get it,I get it, calm down kunikida”-
When he thought more about what happened, he recognized that Chuya Nakahara was at least an interesting person, and he doesn't consider a lot of people “interesting”, he obviously didn´t expect that reaction, but the way he was lost in his thought, and how he blushed, not for his comment and more about all the environment in general.
He just wants to know more about him, but unfortunately Dazai Osamu isn´t a fan of using property forms to talk to others, so nothing good might result from this.
