Chapter Text
Aziraphale turned around and spotted a man feeding some ducks "Excuse me sir! Would you mind helping us with something?" The man turned around looked skeptically at the pair sitting on the bench. The person who had called out to him was a curly haired fellow with formal clothes was sitting next to a beautiful, leather clad woman with dark red hair. He shrugged and walked over to help them.
"Having trouble with your wife sir?" he asked once he reached the pair. Aziraphale spluttered and mumbled something incomprehensible about "sides" when Crowley answered.
"We're just two old friends trying to decide on a place to holiday." She flashed a smile and was about to say something else when Aziraphale finally caught his breath and, holding out the custom coin, said
"Yes, what she said. We were wondering if you could flip this coin for us?" The man, now completely puzzled, agreed and flipped it while the angel and demon stared at each other, watching to see if the other would try to miracle the coin.
"It landed on the Bently." the man told them
"well i suppose that is that!" Aziraphale replied. "Thank you, my good man." the man smiled as he walked away, what an odd pair of friends
"I suppose that means you'll stay here then?" Crowley was not happy about the arrangement but knew the consequences.
"It seems that way!" Aziraphale beamed, glad he didn't have to go to America. "I can arrange a boat for you if you would like to take your Bently! My barber's uncle works on a trans-Atlantic crew and I'm sure I can snag a room for you!" Crowley huffed as she stood, grabbing the violin case as she did
"Whatever works for you angel, I've got some paperwork to fill out now" she cringed, dreading having to deal with all the swarming letters on those pages.
