It’s not like schools any better, but at least now it's entertaining.
Kamishiro-senpai and Tsukasa-senpai causing a new explosion weekly, Akiyama wasn’t too bad to hang out with when she did show up, and talking to Kusanagi and An during class also was not bad.
Seeing his partner at the end of the day was always his favorite part.
Sometimes, Toya would be held up by a teacher—smart student things probably—or he would be busy with library committee stuff. Either way, even if they couldn’t hang out during lunch, they always could hang out after school.
After Toya stood up against his father, he's now finally free to do whatever he wants.
The final bell rang, signaling the end of the day.
Akito grabbed his bag and rushed out of the class. He had to be the first to change his shoes back into his regular ones. He wanted to be the first person to see Toya after school ended.
Maybe he shouldn’t run in the hallways, afterall there are school rules against that, but rules could never stop Akito from seeing his partner. If those rules did nothing but try separating them, then Akito will gladly break them, all for his partner, all for Toya.
“NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS—”
“SORRY TSUKASA-SENPAI, YOUR BROTHER.”
“MY BROTHER— WHAT?”
Rui watched as Akito rushed past a confused Tsukasa. He stood frozen in space as if he was processing things. His star was a bit clueless sometimes. Rui giggled and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.
“Hm, Shinonome-kun seems to be excited to see Aoyagi-kun.” He tried to help his boyfriend in terms of finding the answer.
“That doesn't—fine, I’ll excuse him this time, and the 10 other times.” Tsukasa grumbled in the last part. Rui just giggled to himself, and wrapped himself tighter against Tsukasa.
“What did I say about PDA in school?” Rui got one second to process his boyfriend's warning before he got shoved to the floor. Fuck, his back hurts now. All the pain love causes, maybe the real villain along was his love for Tsukasa.
Somewhere in the same building, Akito was speeding past other students, reaching Toya's own locker.
There, stood his partner.
His best friend, his other half, his partner.
“Hey, Toya.”
Toya smiled.
“Hello, Akito.”
