Cale is the furthest thing from idol right?
Wrong.
His position on his world is really like an idol, someone who receives countless love and support from people, and strangers, someone that people couldn't help but think he's different from them.
But, in a sense, Cale being K-pop idol... Ah, it may be harsh for our Cale-nim whose favourite exercise is to sleep.
He'd have to be good at dancing, vocals, and rap. Hmm, musical composition, lyrical arrangement, musical instruments, stamina and languages have to be taken into account too. Visual is important, but Cale nim already taken care of that himself~ *cue: take a look at him of the novel cover (where I draw my inspiration from), or the manwha.*
Hah, even Kim Roksoo at the cover looks so good too~
Anyway, I really need something to make our MC here, Cale, to move his butt after achieving happy ending. As always with other fics, I don't have any clue how to transport Cale to modern earth without GoD... He's literally Cale's truck-kun.
So, with GoD, as the representative, as always, he needs our poor MC to clean his sh*t, or other Gods' sh*t. But I need to make the problem actually related to Cale (like...the final villain use last possible means to survive when fighting Cale & is hiding on that modern earth..), or maybe the problem, if not cleaned up right away, can inevitably bring danger to the world he's in.
Ah, or maybe it's like that inside game world chapter (real in the novels), where the transparent blood guys planning to set camp on the game world...
Or maybe, this modern earth is like another world in need of saving from hidden villain or remnants of the hunters that Cale & co f*ck up.
Guys, to be fair, I haven't read TotCF for a while, so...yeah.
Conclusion: I think... I don't want to make it so mission driven, and more like a wish driven?
Ah, but Cale definitely don't have that kind of wish to be a top K-pop idol.
So! Lemme introduce themz (aka Cale's motivation to become K-pop idol):
1. Trainee no. 71, Lee Soo Hyuk
Actually his original dream is to become an action movie actor, living the life of jobless slacker, he couldn't even make it as an extra. But through some chances, he's been hired as a production staff for the hot upcoming famous (or infamous) idol survival show.
And the PD, upon seeing his face & his fit body , immediately told him to be casted as an idol trainee → to make up the numbers numbers.
He's the oldest trainee in the show, at 26 years old.
"He was thinking that team leader Lee Soo Hyuk would have been quite successful as an action movie actor. He had a muscular body and his face was perfect for the main character of a thriller or an action movie with a mysterious past. Of course, Kim Rok Soo didn’t say such praise out loud."
Based on what Kim Rok Soo internally says of him, it is fair to say that Lee Soo Hyuk is a handsome man.
Personality: Cares greatly about those who are close to him, determined, natural leadership, able to inspires the others around him. Loves to reminisce about the past, after being with CJS & KRS and the others in the survival show, he ended up getting so attached & becoming more determined & passionate for them all to survive the show & debut as an idol group together more than anybody else.
Talents: when starting, he great at moving his body, can sing quite decently but that's all, well, his visual is a talent too. But as time goes by, with unlocked passion, he's becoming quite monstrous as an all-rounder. Position: Leader, lead dancer, lead vocal.
2. Trainee no. 32, Choi Jung Soo
A young man (20 years old) preparing for CSAT (Korean super stressful university entrance exam), amidst the constant study stress, preferring to move his body than sitting still, got into K-pop dances & discover that he have talent & passion for it.
After nailing the CSAT, that coincidences with a famous idol survival show application, he's half serious, half for just because, he apply as a trainee and drag Kim Roksoo, his bestie of the same age (CJS argue that he's the hyungs between the two) who surprisingly sings so good during karaoke shenanigans.
Personality: A very pure person, naturally cheerful & optimistic, sly, sharp, able to pick up details rather quickly, as well as persistent. Strong willed & never the one to succumb to despair. Spoke satori accent (think of Southern American twang...).
Talents: this one is incredibly good at dancing, enough to be the main dancer. As for singing, his ranges are not that good, but due his hobby of talking KRS's ears off, he had shown talent as a rapper.
Position: lead dancer, lead rapper, Choreography creator (I remembered him making swords techniques to match CH in the novel.)
3. Trainee no. 33 Kim Roksoo (not Cale! This is young KRS no apocalypse, no sadness, no pain).
His parents passed away from a car accident when he was young, and he was raised as an orphan, until he was adopted by his uncle whom he was abused by to the point that he gave in and decided he never wanted to be the "main character" of a story because he didn't have the strength to fight against the world
.... But! He met CJS during his part timer in a restaurant day (KRS didn't continue with higher education), and now they are bestie. Or rather, CJS is the only friend he had.
KRS then often play together with CJS on the Choi's family home (well, getting fed, preparing CSAT together with CJS and such), and is treated like a family there. But KRS still working part time there and there to make ends meet, refusing to be a burden for the Choi Family.
Ah, he's the same age as CJS, 20 years old.
Personality: Stubborn, tsundere, blank eyes (Think of Park Moondae), weirdly knowledgeable in some strange areas (like where you should gut a fish to make them bleeding out faster... Or where it would cause the most painful reaction when hitting someone...). Smart & strategic, is actually very caring and warm hearted, though his self esteem required uplifts from his hyungs~.
Physical: He was born with nice face (think of blank eyed but charmingly gap moe character.), fans later said that he resembles cats the most. Skinny, but quite tall, ~178 cm ish? Still the shortest in our lists though.
Talents: I think..! KRS has potential in the dances development, as you know, the white radish pick his body to steal in the novel, his plate sturdy and big, edurance top notch, movements and agile (in the novel, as team leader with no attacking ability, to survive, he must have this kind of evasion ability right?). Other than that, his talent is singing. He's good at memorising songs, and shown talent in lyrical arrangement, and some in musical composition (but not trained enough to start producing songs like it's factory ).
Position: Main Vocalist.
4. Trainee no. 84, Choi Han
Welp, this is hard.
I'm planning to have CH chasing after Cale again to make sure he could be of a help. But in this peaceful world, there's already a CH (same person) which is CJS's uncle once removed. Also, even if there's GoD's system magic that I planned to include can give backgrounds for Cale & CH, there's a problem with generational name (like someone in the family on a same generation: they often share the same generational name (ex: Choi Jung Soo, Choi Jung Min, Choi Jung Hee).
But I want to make them family so much...😭😭
So! Let's just say that there's cannot be two CHs, and in this world, CH is CJS's younger nephew instead... In short, I'm making CH the maknae of the later debut group (17 years old), and this CH is actually has joined an idol agency since he's 15 years old. (Ahem, in this world, this 17 y.o CH is bit different than that of TotCF's CH, where TotCF CH wants to be a teacher & a martial artist, this CH dreams of becoming an idol.)
Ah, imagine, the fans seeing those pure, tall, strong, puppy-like Chois together. Happiness.
Talents: I imagine that CH is very adept & good at learning movements, shown in the novel that he can continuously growing. Like the way he's fighting, with his sword, it feels raw, powerful, and rough. It's not like CJS's meticulously crafted, beautifully flowing smooth movements, but it left people in an awe, like goosebumps inducing kind of awe.
Position: btw, CH's may be the main dancer, cause this CH is TotCF's CH, so he could very well show those fantastical, feral, extreme movements that a normal 17 y.o trainee couldn't possibly do. Haha, he'll get the name of demon on this time around, not CJS (explanation: CJS has the nickname sword demon in the murim arc due to his insane sword skills.). Ah, CH will definitely be the top in terms of dancing at least. I don't think he can sing though...
So, it's not the mission to save the world really, but I think I need to make something in a way that Cale have to move by himself to solve it.
Final Plot Decision: our Cale, already finished f*cking the hunters, get precisely 1 year of living with slackerlife-nim, then the Gods come knocking.
It seems like there's a world that in danger of being sucked into the transparent blood's game world (the world with monsters, demons...dragons...), and the world is crying for help. It's a modern world where there's no apocalypse, and the setting is just like the Earth 1 before apocalypse happened, and most importantly there's LSH, CJS, KRS and the others (I'm planning to add Park Jin-Tae, Bae Puh-Rum, Kim Min-Ah, Joo Ho-Sik, etc).
The deadline is for 5 years, it's a preventable apocalypse.
Actually, this world is a newborn baby world, the reasons the people who lived there is the same people that's on Earth 1 (world where Cale serves at team leader where CJS & LSH dies & now world where ogCale lives with his reincarnated mother) & Earth 2 (remember the God of Despair test), is because this newbie world's population are made up of the soul fragments of the people on Earth 1 & 2, some that suffer despair, hurt and rage at the unfairness of it all, many how died a dog's death, missing and forgotten.
The fragments of their resentment, hurt, pain and despair made up this peace loving world whose goal is to heal these souls of his people.
The try hard newbie world really works too hard and ended up creating a system on its own (like manager system you saw in so many novels), and ended up having to rest a bit...(Like maybe around 20 years, who could've happen right?)
...And during that time, the hunters, wrecking sh*t everywhere, dragging so many worlds to their problems, this newbie world ended up having to compromise its own power, body and authority, and now is experiencing impending destruction via the transparent blood's game world might descending to reality in it's grounds (imagine orv's apocalypse where the novel crashes to reality...).
Anyway, this newbie world, (who's weirdly obsessed with world peace through love and support...) who was named Earth 3 by the Gods (the world named itself Ciryl) Ciryl, is placing it's hope for Cale to prevent the impending apocalypse.
I think it's quite believable plot. But let's just see what happens as I write.
