After picking Luz up from Willow's house, Amity and Luz flew back to the owl house on Eda's staff with Luz raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"So, how did you know I was at Willow's house?" Luz asked, with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"It wasn't that hard," Amity said simply, with a shrug. "Besides me and my siblings, Willow, Gus, and the three multi-track students, you don't have a lot of friends here in the isles and since I can assume that Gus is at home or doing his own thing, you couldn't go to him, right?"

"Yeah, that's true," Luz said with a small nod, before a thought came to her mind and gave a small frown. "Amity, do you really think we can find a glyph for me to use abomination magic with?"

"I," Amity started to say, before she faltered a little and gave a small sigh. "I honestly don't know. But, if we can find the teleporting glyph then I know we can find a way for you to do abomination magic. I'm sure of it."

Luz gave a small nod before she gave a pout and asked "You're going to be real smug about it when we find a glyph for me to use abomination magic, aren't you?"

"Yes," Amity answered, with a shrug before she turned to Luz with a beaming smile. "I'm sorry Luz but, ahh! If this works and we find a glyph that can let you do abomination magic then you can learn abomination magic from the best of the best at Hexside, and not to brag but,"

She flipped her lavender hair, with a smirk.

"I believe I overheard a few witches say I'm getting closer to Darius, head of the abomination coven's level."

Luz gave a beaming smile and asked in excitement "Wait, then you're close to turning your whole body into an abomination like Darius?"

"Well, I wouldn't go that far into things," Amity said bashfully, with a small blush in embarrassment. "But I am good with creating things like a spike fist on my right hand and, well, you know what happened during the incident at my parents' showing."

Luz gave a small flinch, before nodding slowly.

"Y-Yeah," Luz said slowly, with a small nod and gulped nervously. "No offense, but your mom was a freak show during that incident."

"None taken, Luz," Amity agreed, with a soft giggle. "Besides, I kinda agree with you on that and more on hating my mother."

Luz gave a small nod before she and Amity turned forward to see they were nearing the Owl House with Amity landing in front of Eda, who crossed her arms and raised a questioning eyebrow.

"She was hiding out at Willow's house," Amity said softly, while she and Luz slowly got off the staff. 

Luz got off the staff before she looked up to see Eda raising a questionable eyebrow making her flinch a little under the stern look Eda was giving her.

"S-Sorry, Eda," Luz said gently, sounding apologetic. "I just got caught up in the excitement of finding a teleporting glyph that I went on my own for a little while until Amity found me and brought me home."

Eda looked to Luz before turning to Amity, who gave a sigh and nodded at what Luz just said.

Sighing heavily, Eda pinched the bridge of her nose and said "Kid, I can understand you were excited about the new teleporting glyph but going off on your own without me or Boots over here is seriously dangerous. The emperor's coven might not be after us after the petrification ceremony incident but that doesn't mean we shouldn't expect anyone else to try and come after us. Do you understand me, Luz?"

"Yes Eda, I understand," Luz said slightly, with a small nod. "I'll only use the teleporting glyph for emergencies and-"

"Are you kidding?!" Eda asked, with a smile on her face. "With this glyph we could travel anywhere we want in Bonesborough! I can use this to visit Lily and my mother since we're starting to get back together and think of all the pranks I could do with this."

"Wait, what?!" Amity asked, with a shocked look on her face. "B-But I thought you were going to ground Luz for trying to abuse the teleporting glyph and wouldn't come back until I went to get her!"

"Well, I would but," Eda started to say, before she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Luz. "First off, I wouldn't call what Luz did as 'abuse' over the teleporting glyph and second, we both know that Luz won't listen to a word I just said, even if I did ground her."

Luz gave a nervous chuckle in response and said hesitantly "Y-You got me there, E-Eda."

"I swear, Luz," Amity groaned out, before she pinched the bridge of her nose in exasperation. "You are going to be the death of me someday."

"Wait, what?!" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a shocked and hurt look on her face. "Amity, do you really think that highly of me?"

Amity gave her girlfriend a flat look and said while counting her fingers "Let's see here. You helped Eda and King break into the conforitorum to get King's toy crown and started a prison riot, snuck into Hexside while pretending to be an abomination before nearly getting digested by Principle Bump, challenging me to a witches duel at Convention, unknowingly helped my siblings break into my secret room in the library so they can look for my diary and post them on penstagram, animated your own house demon on the night of the moonlight conjuring, you stole my wand and angered the slither beast, got detention on the first of school, pushed Willow and Gus too far during your training for you match with Boscha on grudgby season starts-"

"Don't forget the grom incident," Eda said, with a smirk.

"Eda!" Luz shouted, turning to Eda, with her face giving a massive blush.

"I'll let that slide since it was a magical night for the both of us at the end," Amity said, simply with a small blush before she shook her head and looked to Luz with a worried look on her face. "Anyways, you see what I mean, Luz. You're a trouble maker, even if some of them weren't your fault."

Luz was taken aback by this before she gave a pout and grumbled out "Do you really have to put it like that?"

Amity couldn't help but give a soft chuckle before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss on Luz's cheek.

"But that's one of the reasons I love you, Luz," Amity said softly, after pressing a soft kiss to Luz's cheek.

Luz's face gave a blush and chuckled a little bit from the cheek kiss Amity gave her.

Eda rolled her eyes playfully and said "Alright, that's enough flirty banter out of you two. Now, get inside and be ready for dinner in a little while."

Luz and Amity gave nods before they walked in the house with Eda turning around and walking in the house as well.

While Eda walked to the kitchen to cook dinner with Owlbert turning back to owl form and flying to the kitchen with her, Luz and Amity walked up to the couch with Luz sitting on the couch with a shrug.

"So, what should we do first to find an abomination glyph?" Luz asked, with a shrug, and gave a small yawn.

"Well, how did you find out about this invisible glyph I'm hearing so much about?" Amity asked, with her arms crossed and gave a smirk.

Luz flinched before she slowly got up to her feet and began to walk to the stairs with a groan.

"I'll go and get the books and notes from my room," Luz said, while walking up the stairs with a groan.

"Thank you, my love," Amity said softly, with a shrug and gave a soft chuckle when she saw Luz falter while walking up the stairs with her face giving a massive blush on her face.

When Luz came back down stairs with books in her arms and walked up to the couch with Amity helping her carry the books with her abomination magic, the two girls began to get to work looking into and finding a glyph that would help Luz use abomination magic like her girlfriend.

While they were looking through from book to book, Amity couldn't help but feel her eyebrows twitch and said in a little annoyance "Teleporting magic, power magic, wind magic? Luz, how are you not insanely powerful with your glyph magic with these types of magic?"

"You mean OP," Luz corrected Amity, before giving a shrug. "I was too busy with my adventures to really think about these things. Plus, I still need to build a portal door back home to the human realm."

"Good point," Amity agreed with a small nod, before she turned to see Luz drawing something and raised an eyebrow with interest. "What are you drawing, Luz?"

Luz turned to Amity with a smile and said "Ever since we found out about a way to combine glyph, I've been thinking of what new glyphs to combine and ways to use glyphs like the invisible but thanks to my adventures and other things that's been going on in my life, I haven't had the time to look into this more."

Amity gave a nod in understanding before she turned to the glyph that Luz was drawing and gave a frown.

"And, the glyph you're writing now," Amity said, with a frown, while Luz finished drawing the glyph and gave a smile.

"I was working on this glyph before Eda's mother came by and told me about Philip's diary," Luz said, with a smile.

"Awe, Eda's mother came to the owl house," Amity said softly, with a warm smile. "That must have been fun."

"No, it wasn't," Luz said, with the shake of her head. "Eda's mother, Gwendaline, was a conspiracy theorist and tried to cure Eda's curse. She had the stupidest idea possible and I went along with it because she had information that would help me get back home in the human realm. Long story short, it back fired and it ended a little well then you would expect. Lilith is living with her parents and Eda is starting to get close to her mom again, so that's something."

"Oh," Amity said flatly, with a frown. "So, business as usual."

"Pretty much," Luz agreed, with a nod.

Amity gave a small nod, before she looked down with a frown.

She honestly didn't know how to feel when it came to Lilith right now since on one hand and from what Luz said, Lilith does feel guilty about cursing Eda which she still couldn't wrap her head around and everything she did while she saw at the emperor's coven but on the other hand, she used her during her fight with Luz during Convention and betrayed her trust.

She thought that Lilith would be upset or guilty for what happened but that clearly wasn't the case, making her give a frown. 

She knew she was probably being selfish but...

"Finished!"

Hearing Luz's voice that cut off her thoughts, Amity turned to see a combined ice and plant glyph that Luz just finished, making her give a small frown.

"Where did you even find this glyph, Luz?" Amity asked slowly, with a raised eyebrow and gave a frown. 

Luz just gave a shrug and said "I was mainly thinking of ways to combine and create new glyphs that this one and a few others just came to me over time."

Amity gave a small nod and asked slowly "Can I look at the glyphs you drew but haven't tested out yet?"

Luz looked at Amity with a confused look on her face, before she gave a shrug and said "Sure, I don't mind."

With a nod, Amity slowly took Luz's notebook with Luz turning the page to the glyphs she was going to test out but haven't yet and looked at them with a raised eyebrow.

Some of them looked simple enough that they might be worth a try but others, she wasn't quite sure about and some of that was probably due to her not knowing much about glyph magic as Luz does but...

Wait a second, what is that?

Turning her head to a glyph that had an ice and light glyph combo, Amity raised an eyebrow with interest.

Huh, this one might be good for Luz to try.

Especially since it didn't look as deadly as the one Luz was about to try before she stopped her in her tracks and wanted to look at the notes herself.

In fact, the ice and light glyph with a head that kinda reminds her of...

Amity's eyes slowly widened before she grabbed the pencil and a piece of paper and drew the glyph on it.

Once she was done, Amity turned to Luz with a beaming smile and said "Luz, I want you to try this glyph."

"W-What?" Luz asked in a shudder, before she took the piece of paper and looked at the glyph with a raised eyebrow in worry and confusion. "Amity, are you sure about this?"

"Yes, trust me," Amity said, quickly with a beaming smile. "Just put the glyph on the counter and press on it."

"Ok, ok," Luz said with a small chuckle, before she turned and put the glyph on the counter.

Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, Luz slowly put a hand on the new glyph and pressed on it.

Luz and Amity watched in shock and amazement as the new glyph slowly began to glow purple and a purple abomination goo began to form making both girls' eyes widen in shock and amazement.

"No way," Luz whispered, with a shock and stunned look on her face.

She couldn't believe it, she just learned Abomination magic from her awesome girlfri...

But just as she thought that, the abomination goo exploded into purple abomination goo that hit Luz while Amity created a spell circle and sent the incoming abomination goo to a nearby cup.

It was silence in the living room with Luz blinking twice and Amity giving a small smile.

After a few seconds of silence...

"I just did abomination magic!" Luz shouted, getting up and turning to Amity with an excited smile on her face. "Amity, did you just see that?! I just did abomination magic!"

"Yes, I know," Amity said with a soft giggle, before she grabbed another piece of paper and drew the abomination glyph again with a soft smile. "Now, do it again, but this time, I'll help you."

Getting up from the couch, Amity gave Luz the abomination glyph before both girls turned to the counter with Luz putting the new glyph on the counter.

"Now," Amity said with a smile, sounding instructive. "To create an abomination, you will need to shape what you need in your mind."

Luz gave a nod before she turned back to the glyph and slowly closed her eyes.

Slowly closing her eyes, Luz took a deep breath and imagined an Azura staff in her mind while slowly moving her right hand and touching the glyph.

Slowly touching the glyph, Luz slowly opened her eyes to see the glyph begin to glow yellow and an abomination goo came from the glyph.

Huh, that wasn't supposed to happen?

Maybe if she moves her hand on the abomination slime like this then maybe she could...

Luz's thoughts were cut off when she slowly moved her right hand on the abomination goo before she saw the goo turn into a staff like Azura's making her eyes slowly widen in shock and amazement.

Pulling the staff out of the glyph, Luz looked at the staff before she turned to see Amity beaming at her in excitement.

"You did it, Luz," Amity said, with a beaming smile.

"Yeah, this is awesome!" Luz shouted in excitement, before she saw the abomination version of Azura staff turn into goo, making her give a pout in response. "Ah, dang it."

Amity couldn't help but giggle and said softly "I guess, we should have expected that."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, laugh it up, Amity," Luz said with a chuckle, before she looked down at the abomination goo with a frown. "How do I get my abomination glyph to do what I want?"

"Well, how do you get your other glyphs to do what you want?" Amity asked, with a small smile. "Abomination magic works differently then other magic in the isles but let's start with something simple, like how can you use different forms of plant and ice magic? I've seen you create different forms of plant magic like when you and Willow did the thorn vault and those vines. Also, you made your ice sword from your ice glyph, correct?"

"Yeah," Luz said simply, with a shrug. "You gotta know what you... need..."

Wait a second, that's it!

Grabbing another piece of paper and pencil, Luz drew the abomination glyph and pressed on it.

She slowly moved her hand up as a small abomination was starting to form. 

Amity watched with glee and pride as a small abomination was formed from Luz's new glyph.

"Now," Amity started to say, sounding instructed. "Since abomination is made of a smile, you can create anything from that little abomination but it will take time for you to get to where I am today."

Luz gave a nod before she looked at the little abomination from her new glyph and gave a frown.

Closing her eyes, Luz began to picture the Azura staff in her mind and gritted her teeth.

"Consentrate, Luz," Amity said softly, walking up and standing behind her girlfriend while grabbing her right hand and put it over the small abomination. "Think of what you want the abomination to create and..."

Slowly opening her eyes, Luz watched as the abomination slime slowly morphed from a goo to an abomination version of Azura staff, making her eyes slowly widen in shock.

Grabbing the staff, Luz pulled the staff out of the glyph before she thought of a shield that was like Captain America.

Glowing purple, the abomination slime began to morph from the Azura staff to a shield that resembled Captain America in her left arm, making Luz squeal in excitement.

"This is so awesome," Luz shouted, in excitement. "I can make anything with Abomination magic!"

She threw the shield to a wall, like a fresh bee as it bounced from the wall and came back to her.

Catching the shield, Luz watched as the shield glowed purple and morphed into a bat that made her eyes widen in shock and amazement.

Turning her head, Luz saw Amity look at her with a beaming smile and said with a nod "Congratulations Luz Noceda, you have begun your abomination magic and now, all you need is training."

"You're being real smug about this, aren't you sweet potato," Luz said, with a raised eyebrow and gave a grin.

"Maybe," Amity said slowly, while looking away from her grinning girlfriend, with a blush on her face.

Luz couldn't help but chuckle before she looked down to see the abomination bat glow purple and turn into slime that hit the ground.

"Awe, man," Luz said, with a pout.

Amity turned to see the abomination slime on the ground before she gave a giggle and said "Looks like you need more practice with your new abomination glyph."

"Yeah," Luz said with a shrug, before she scratched the back of her neck sheepishly. "I-I could use your help, Amity."

"I'm so sorry, what?" Amity asked smugly, while moving her left ear close to Luz. "I couldn't quite hear you. Could you maybe say that again?"

Luz gave out a long and tired groan.

"Come on, Amity," Luz said, with a long and tired groan. "I just got your job back for you, isn't that enough?"

"Nope," Amity said simply, with a shrug. "I want to hear you say it, Luz."

Luz pouted before she gave a sigh and grumbled "I need your help, Ms. Amity."

"What was that?" Amity asked, with a smug grin.

Luz's face flushed red in embarrassment, before she got an idea and grinned at Amity.

Without saying anything, Luz slowly began to walk up to Amity with a small grin.

Turning her head, Amity saw Luz slowly walk up to her, making her slowly walk backwards with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"Uh Luz, what are you doing?" Amity asked with a raised eyebrow in confusion, while slowly walking backwards before her back hit the wall behind her and her face gave a blush at how close she and Luz were.

Luz slowly walked up to Amity before she was directly in front of her and put her right hand on the wall, which made Amity jump a little with her face growing even redder.

Luz couldn't help but smirk at Amity's blushing tomato face with a soft chuckle.

Oh, this was too good.

She wished she had her phone out but it was back in her room with King, who was sleeping in there as well.

Well, she can think about that later.

For now, Luz grabbed Amity's chin anđ said with a smirk on her face "I need your help, Amity."

Amity's face slowly gave a massive tomato shade of a blush while her legs were shaking, before she heard what Luz said, and her legs bucked from under her.

Sliding to the ground, Amity closed her eyes and gave a dreamy smile on her face.

Luz watched Amity slide down to the ground with a shocked look on her face and said in worry "Oh my gosh! Amity, are you ok?"

"So hot," Amity whispered, with a loving and dreamy smile on her face.

Luz blinked twice at this before she turned to see King walk down the stairs and up to her.

"Hey Luz, Eda said that she's about done making dinner and," King started to say, before he turned to see Amity passed out and gave a deadpan look on his face. "Did you knock someone out again?"

"No," Luz said quickly, with a shake of her head.

"Luz, you're so dreamy," Amity mumbled dreamily, with her face giving a deep blush.

King blinked twice before he turned to Luz with his arms crossed and raised an eyebrow.

Luz flinched before she gave a sigh and said gently "Alright fine, I wanted to charm Amity as payback for the smug grin she gave me when we found out about the abomination glyph earlier."

King's eyes slowly widened and asked in shock and confusion "Abomination glyph?"

Luz gave a shrug and said "I'll tell you and Eda during dinner."

Turning to Amity, Luz picked her girlfriend up in a bridal style before she turned around to King and asked "So, what has Eda made for lunch? I'm starving?"

After getting Amity out of her blushing trans and putting the Echo mouse in her room, Luz and Amity joined Eda and King for dinner as they sat down at the table.

"So, what's this I hear about Luz learning abomination magic with her glyphs?" Eda asked, looking at Luz and Amity with a grin.

Luz and Amity's face gave blush before Luz pulled out her notebook and made the abomination glyph.

Eda and King watched as Luz pressed on it and a small purple abomination formed from the glyph, making both their eyes widen in shock and amazement.

"Whoa, that's so cool!" King shouted, in excitement.

Eda didn't say anything and just looked up to Luz with a proud smile on her face.

"Heh, not too bad, kid," Eda said, with a proud smile on her face, before she gave the two girls a teasing grin. "And, I see that your new girlfriend helped you through it, huh?"

Luz and Amity's faces both gave massive blushes that made Eda give a snicker before giving a chuckle.

"Alright, alright, jokingness aside," Eda said with a chuckle, before she looked at Luz and Amity with a proud smile. "I am proud that you found a way to use Abomination magic with your glyphs, thanks to Baby Blight over here. Not bad, kiddos."

"Thanks, Eda," Luz said with a small smile, before she looked down to see the small abomination glow purple and was turned back into slime form.

Before the abomination slime could drop on Luz and Amity, Amity made a purple spell circle and made the abomination slime vanish from sight.

"Wow," Luz said in a whisper, with her face flushed red. "I wish I could do that."

Amity couldn't help but giggle and said with a chuckle "Well, if you could do a spell circle then you could do it too, but if we could find the abomination and teleporting glyphs, then I'm sure we can find a glyph that would let you stop your magic or send the abomination slime away."

"I hope you're right," Luz said grumply, with a pout. "Because that looks really cool."

"Not as cool as using the teleporting glyph to send us back to the Owl House," Amity said softly, with a small chuckle. "Not to mention the way you just used your abomination glyph. You changed the abomination slime from weapon to weapon like a pro back there that honestly, impressed even me."

"W-Well, I don't like to brag but," Luz said slowly, with a soft chuckle in embarrassment. "W-When you said that I could use the abomination slime like the plant and ice glyph, everything just fell into place after that."

Amity gave a proud nod before she gave Luz a cheek kiss and whispered lovingly "And, I couldn't be more proud of you for it, Luz."

Luz could feel her body begin to shiver with her face flushing a crimson shade of red and said lovingly "T-Thank you, Amity. L-Love you, t-too."

Amity couldn't help but giggle at Luz's reaction and said "We will still need to train you to see how good you can be with abomination magic when it comes to changing from weapon to weapon since that's probably all you can do with your new glyph magic."

"Yeah, I know," Luz said with a pout, before she remembered something and gave a smile. "Hey, why not me and Amity train at King's island?"

Amity began to choke on her food before she swallowed it down and said slowly with a sigh "Luz... I love you, and I know King is like a brother to you, but don't you think this fantasy is starting to get old."

"What?" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a shocked look on her face before shaking her head. "No, it's true. King's island is real and me, King, Lilith, Hooty, and Eda have been there a few weeks ago. Right, Eda?"

Amity raised a questionable eyebrow, before she turned to see Eda shaking her head and said with a sigh "Actually, Luz is telling the truth here boots. King does have an island and... I've been keeping a secret from everyone around this table for the last eight years..."

She began to tell Amity the story on how she met King and the island she found him on.

At the end, Amity's eyes slowly widen in shock before she turns to see Luz giving a nod and King looking down with a hurt look on his face, making her start to get a little worried.

"King," Amity started to say, with a worried look on her face. "I'm..."

"It's ok, Amity," King said softly, with a hurt look on his face before he looked up and gave a small smile at Amity. "I was hurt when I found out the truth, but I'm ok with it now."

Amity gave a small nod before she turned to Eda and asked with a raised eyebrow "But, why haven't you told anyone after you told King the truth?"

"I didn't think about it at the time," Eda said simply, with a shrug. "Besides, we don't want Belos and the emperor's coven finding out about the island since if they knew then they might destroy everything on sight."

"That's true," Amity couldn't help but agree with Eda's logic before she gave a frown. "But, who else knows about King's island?"

"Just you, Luz, King, Lily, and Hooty," Eda said simply, with a shrug. "There hasn't been enough time to go out and explore the island since we've been kinda busy from trying to make a new portal door, keeping my curse at bay, and trying to keep the house afloat ever since the portal door has been destroyed."

Amity gave a small nod of understanding before she turned to Luz and said with a small smile "Maybe we can use King's island for training with your abomination glyph and I could train in other forms of magic other than abomination."

"Wait, what?" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a shocked look on her face. "You want to learn different forms of magic."

"I mean," Amity said, with a shrug, and gave a small smile. "I still like doing abomination magic and I plan to do more of it in the future but ever since I met you and found out about glyph magic, I began to rethink about my future more. I mean, I don't want to join a coven system since that's what my mother wants, not me. Plus, I can both learn and help you finđ new glyphs, especially with this new teleporting glyph of ours in the meantime."

Luz gave a beaming smile and hugged her girlfriend tightly.

"Awe, Amity," Luz said, with a beaming smile. "I'm rubbing off on you, aren't I?"

Amity's face blushed a fresh shade of red from the close contact before she turned to Luz with a small smile and said softly "I'm still going to do the abomination track but I wouldn't mind doing other forms of magic like Illusion, Bard, and Plant magic in secret."

Eda was shocked to hear this before she gave a smirk and shouted in excitement "Yes! A new member of the bad girl coven snagged up and it's Odalia's youngest and little miss perfect! Don't worry kid, you'll be in good hands with us."

"Eda!" Luz whined, with her face flushed red. 

Amity couldn't help but chuckle softly and said with a smile "It's good be part of your coven, Ms. Clawthorn."

"Just Eda, kid," Eda said simply, with a shrug. "I don't do this 'Ms' or 'Miss' stuff and it's not my style."

Amity gave a nod before she turned to see Luz giving her a beaming smile, making her roll her eyes playfully and said softly "Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's finish our dinner and we can use the teleporting glyph to visit King's island later, ok?"

"Ok," Luz said in a grumble, with a pout. "I really want to show you King's tower and give you a proper tour of the place."

"It's ok, Luz," Amity said softly, with a soft chuckle. "I know Eda said it before but, have you, Eda, King, or Lilith gone back to King's island and looked at the tower?"

"We haven't had the time," Luz said simply, with a shrug. "We've been busy with a few things like building a new portal door and... you probably know the rest."

Amity gave a small nod in understanding before she gave a frown and said "Well, maybe now we can look around King's tower and see what you guys missed during your first go trip to the island."

"Yeah," King agreed in excitement, with a nod. "Besides Jean-Luc, we barely know what's in my tower since I was so young that I barely remember anything in my own tower."

"King's right," Eda agreed, with a small smile and gave a nod. "Also, I haven't gone back to the tower for the past eight years and never went back ever since. Who knows what we will find there."

"Also, if another Jean-Luc wakes up then we can-"

"No bringing him home," Luz and Eda said in unison, with deadpan looks on their faces.

"What?! Why not!" King shouted, in protest.

"I can think of a thousand reasons why we're not bringing another Jean-Luc home with us," Eda said flatly, with a flat look on her face.

To this, King let out a squeak of rage that caused Luz and Eda to laugh at this.

Amity was silent as she watched the scene in front of her with a shocked look on her face.

The family dinners she had back at home were never like this since it was always silent and the conversations were just about business, not like this.

Sure, she had lunch with Luz, Willow, and Gus during school but that was school and during lunch and... never like this.

She knew it was Odalia's manipulation and after dying her hair, she was fully done with being Odalia's puppet and being her little miss perfect, she's been for years before meeting Luz.

She knew what she did when she ended her friendship with Willow was her fault but she will make up for it for as long as she needs to while being the most awesome girlfriend to Luz Noceda ever!

But other than those two and working in the library, what will be left for her in life?

While she has every intention of working in the library but even then, what then?

She meant what she said and had every intention to stay by Luz side and become the best girlfriend but other than that, what else?

She didn't know and...

"Amity?"

Snapping out of her thoughts, Amity turned to see Luz look at her with a raised eyebrow in worry and concern.

Wait, what?

Looking around, Amity saw Eda and King look at her in worry and concern before she turned to Luz and gave a sigh.

"I-I'm ok, Luz," Amity said with a sigh, and shook her head. "I just got a lot of my own thoughts."

Luz gave a small nod, but still had a worried and concerned look on her face.

"Either way, boots," Eda said with a sigh, before she turned and looked at Amity with a serious look on her face. "Are you sure you want to do this? I'm fine with teaching you potion magic since I excel at it, but the other forms of magic. If everyone finds out about this then you'll be branded as a wild witch like me and Luz here."

"Hey, I'm not a wild witch," Luz said in exasperation, before giving a pout.

"That's because you're human and you're too young," Eda said with a flat look on her face, before she turned to Amity with a serious look on her face. "As for you, boots. Are you absolutely sure about this? I know a thing or two about potion magic, Lily could help you with healing, I know of a friend who could help you in bard, although I think it would be better if you became a multi track student like Luz since they are starting to do that now but this is your choice on the matter."

Amity thought about it for a second before she gave a sigh and shook her head.

"Honestly, I think Emira is good with healing and Edric is starting to get interested in beat keeping recently and I... don't think I want to do that since..."

"You don't want to be in the same room as your annoying siblings," Eda said, with a teasing grin.

Amity shook her head before she sighed and said with a shrug "I might be interested in doing plant, Bard, and potions track and I honestly don't know what the Construction track holds for me if we're talking about hexside."

Eda gave a nod and said with a shrug "Make sense given that the construction coven wasn't as popular as it is now, at least in hexside. Wait, how many students does that track have?"

"As far as I know, I don't think anyone is in that track," Luz said, before she gave a frown. "Well, except for Matt."

Eda gave a nod, before he turned to Amity with a serious look on her face and said "Anyways kid, I think it would be best if you think this through before doing something reckless like this."

Amity gave a small nod, before she turned to see Luz giving her a worried look on her face, making her start to get worried.

"Luz, are you ok?" Amity asked, with a worried look on her face. 

"Yeah, I'm ok," Luz said slowly, with a small nod and gave a small sigh. "Just tired is all."

Amity didn't believe her and asked softly "Luz, you know you can tell me anything, right?"

"Y-Yeah," Luz said gently, with a small nod and gave a small smile. "I-I know that, Amity."

Amity's frown deepened before she gave a sigh and got up from her seat.

"I'm sorry Eda, can you and King excuse us for a few minutes?" Amity asked, with a sigh.

Turning to Luz, Amity gave a sigh before she grabbed Luz by the hand and pulled her up to her feet and out of the room.

"Amity, where are we going?" Luz asked, with a worried and confused look on her face.

Amity didn't say anything as they entered the living room before she let go of Luz's hand and grabbed a nearby pencil.

Grabbing a nearby pencil, Amity looked down and began to draw the teleporting glyph around her and Luz, whose eyes slowly widened in shock and confusion.

Once Amity was done making the teleporting glyph, she bent down to one knee and slammed her hands on the glyph before she, Luz, and the entire Owl House were bathed in light.

Within a matter of seconds, a flash went off, and when Amity and Luz opened their eyes, both girls found that they were not in the Owl House before they turned to see the grom tree in front of them.

"T-This is our grom tree," Luz said, with a shocked look on her face.

"Good, the glyph worked," Amity said, with a sigh in relief.

Turning her head, Luz looked to Amity with a worried look on her face and asked hessitantly "Amity, why did you take us here?"

Amity turned to Luz with a worried look on her face and said gently "I took us here because I thought it would be a good place for us to talk."

She slowly sat down next to the tree and patted on the ground next to her with a small smile.

Luz didn't say anything with a shocked look on her face, before she shook her head and slowly walked up to Amity.

Walking up to Amity, Luz slowly sat down next to her before she gave a soft sigh and said softly "Ok, ok, ok, I'll talk, I'll talk."

Amity waited patiently with a worried and concerned look on her face.

After a few minutes of silence for Luz to gather her thoughts, Luz gave a sigh and said hesitantly "I guess I'm just worried and... a little confused on why you want to do a multi track course like me, Viney, Jerbo, and Barcus. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you want to do multi track but when you said that you wanted to try Plant, Bard, Construction, and Potion, I just... I don't know... I guess I'm just..."

"You're worried that it'll be too much for me to handle," Amity said slowly, with her eyes slowly widening in realization.

Luz didn't say anything and just gave a small nod.

Amity's eyes slowly widened in shock before she gave a small and warm smile on her face.

"Luz, that is the sweetest and caring thing you have ever done for me," Amity said softly, with a warm smile on her face before she shook her head and gave a worried look. "But, I can handle this Luz. Besides, I have friends that can help me. I have Willow, Skara, Gus, Eda, Lilith... A reluctant Boscha, and you. I won't be alone in this."

"I know you won't be alone in this," Luz said softly, turning to Amity with a worried look on her face. "But, I just can't help but worry about you."

"And, I love you for that," Amity said slowly with a soft smile on her face before she shook her head and began to get worried. "But it's more than that, isn't it?"

Luz slowly shook her head and said "No, it's not," She gave a small sigh and turned to Amity with a worried look on her face. "I just feel like this is out of nowhere. You never wanted to multi-track before, and now you're talking about wanting a few tracks out of nowhere. I don't know, I'm just jealous or worried or confused or... all of the above I guess."

Amity was silent and listened to Luz with a worried look on her face.

After a few seconds of silence and once Luz was finished, Amity gave a small nod in understanding and said slowly "I understand why you're worried, Luz. But I can handle it, plus," She gave a long and tired sigh before turning to the edge of the cliff and looked out to the evening sky with a sad and guilty look on her face. "If anyone is guilty, it's me."

"You?" Luz asked slowly, with a shocked and confused look on her face.

Amity gave a small nod before she slowly moved her legs close to her knees and gave a long sigh.

"Ever since I was young, I was fine with just doing abomination magic," Amity started to say, with a long sigh. "But when I met you and the multi-track came to Hexside, I didn't think about it much but when I saw you finding new glyphs and new ways of combining those glyphs, I just... I don't know. I was raised to believe that I was the best witch at Hexside and I am still the best in the abomination track but compared to you and your glyphs, I'm not even close to being as strong as you."

"Amity," Luz whispered, with a shock and worried look on her face.

"It's ok, Luz," Amity said softly, with a worried look on her face. "I know I'm just being insecure and... a little jealous but I just can't help it, especially after the teleportation and Abomination glyph we found out just today."

"I-I'm not trying to get stronger," Luz said gently, with a worried look on her face.

"I know you're not," Amity said slowly, with a small nod and turned to her girlfriend with a small smile. "You just need to combine the glyphs and see what you can do with them like the invisibility and mist glyphs, right?"

Luz gave a small nod before she shook her head and said "Y-Yeah, b-but Amity, and I won't stop you if you want to become a multi-track student, b-but you're already really good at Abomination magic. No, not just really good, you're an extreme and awesome, most beautiful badass witch with abomination magic I have ever met."

Amity's face flushed a crimson shade of a blush before she looked away and grumbled out "That's not fair, Luz."

Luz couldn't help but give a small smile and said softly "But I can't help it, sweet potato."

"Ok, what does that mean?" Amity asked, turning to Luz with a raised eyebrow in confusion. "Is that a nickname or something?"

Luz gave a shrug and said "Sweet potatoes are food that I think you guys have in the demon realm. But I like calling you that because you're my batata."

She slowly leaned into Amity, who blushed fearishly at the close contact.

Amity couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully before she gently pushed Luz away from her and said softly "You're such a dork, Luz."

"But I'm your dork, Batata," Luz said, with a teasing smile.

Amity's face gave a blush and muttered out "You're the worst."

"I'm your wor-"

"Stop that!" Amity shouted, with her face giving a massive blush in embarrassment.

Luz couldn't help but chuckle in amusement before she shook her head and said with a soft chuckle "Ok, ok, ok, I'm done, I'm done, I promise."

"You better be," Amity grumbled, with a blush and crossed her arms in a huff. "I'm starting to think you're only dating me because of me being a blushing mess."

Luz was shocked to hear this, before she shook her head and said with a serious look on her face "Amity, you know that I love you more than you being a-"

"Luz, I was just kidding," Amity said, turning to Luz with a smirk.

Luz froze in place with a shocked look on her face.

"O-Oh," Luz whispered, with a shocked look on her face.

Amity gave a small nod before she gave a smirk and pressed a kiss to Luz's cheek.

Leaning back, Amity gave a soft giggle at seeing Luz's blushing face and said softly "I'm sorry Luz, you just look so cute when you blush like that."

Luz gave a pout and mumbled out "Your mean, sweet potato."

"Love you too, batata," Amity said softly, with a loving smile on her face.

Luz pouted before she began to get an idea and gave a small smirk.

"Hey Amity, you want to watch a human movie under our grom tree," Luz said, with a smirk on her face.

Amity raised an eyebrow and asked in confusion "But, how would we get to watch a human movie when your human device doesn't work due to the portal door being destroyed?"

Luz's eyes slowly widened in shock before remembering that her phone wouldn't work, making her groan a little.

"Ah, dang it," Luz said, with a groan.

Amity couldn't help but giggle and said "Well, don't worry, Luz. Maybe we can ask Eda if we can borrow her crystal ball and spend some time under our tree, like a date."

Luz gave an excited smile before she got up to her feet and said in excitement "Yeah, let's do it."

With a soft giggle, Amity got up to her feet before she and Luz began to write the teleporting glyph with Luz using an ice sword and Amity using an abomination sword.

Once they were done, Luz and Amity pressed the glyph and were teleported back to the Owl House.

After they got what they needed and telling Eda what they were doing, Luz and Amity teleported back to their grom tree and began to set things up.

They didn't just bring Eda's crystal ball but their notes on glyph magic so they can continue their research, Amity even brought the echo mouse so they can look at Philps diary notes and see what they can find from it.

Once they were done, Luz and Amity sat down under their grom tree with Luz moving the fluffy gray blanket over her and Amity, while Amity put out the glyph notes on the ground in front of them with a frown on her face.

Putting the abomination cage that contained the echo mouse beside her, Amity gave a sigh and said with a frown "I, honestly don't know if we'll find anymore glyphs from the dairy entries. Luz, as much as I want to help you get back home or find new glyphs, we can't treat the echo mouse like he's a toy or something."

Luz gave a nod in understanding and said honestly "Yeah, I hear you, Amity. And, I agree with you in not wanting to treat the echo mouse like a toy but we don't have a choice, right?"

Amity gave a nod, before she turned to the notes and gave a frown.

"I might not know much about glyph magic or how to find more but I think we can use the glyphs we already know and see what we can do from there," Amity said, with a frown.

Luz gave a nod in agreement and said "Yeah, that might be a good place to start."

With a nod, Amity and Luz turned to the notes and began to get to work on finding new glyphs.

Amity slowly got the echo mouse and began to let the echo mouse show Philips diary entries while Luz began to get ready to draw a few glyphs of the echo mouse.

Thankfully, Philips diary entries showed a few glyphs on the first try with Luz drawing the glyphs on the papers in front of her.

Once the diary entry was done, Amity put the echo mouse back in the cage before she gave a sigh and said gently "Please tell me you drew the new glyphs from the diary entries. I know they're might be more but for now, that's all we're going to need to get out of the echo mouse today."

Luz gave a nod before she looked at the new glyphs with a smile.

"Yup," Luz said, with a smile and gave a nod. "I already drew some of them and while I don't know some of these, I think this one is a wind spell. Man, that is so cool!"

Amity couldn't help but give a soft giggle and said "I think the diary showed us that the glyphs can let us do wind, water, stone and something we still don't know."

Luz gave a small nod before she began to finish drawing the glyphs.

Once this was done, Luz slowly pressed on what looked like the wind glyph before she and Amity watched as a small bubble of water popped into existence, making both girls' eyes widen in shock and amazement.

"Whoa," Luz whispered in shock, before she slowly put her right hand around the bubble of water and watched as it swirled around her hand, making her eyes widen in shock and amazement. "Yes! This is like water bending from Avatar: the Last Airbender!"

"What's Avatar: the Last Airbender?" Amity asked, with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

Luz turned to Amity and her eyes slowly widened in shock before she gave a gasp and her eyes lit up in excitement.

"Oh, I am so introducing you and our friends to the Avatar series," Luz said, with a beaming smile of excitement. "Besides, your abomination magic is similar to waterbending from the series. Oh, maybe you can use your abomination magic like how Katara uses her waterbending, except bloodbending for obvious reasons."

Amity didn't know what Luz was talking about but at the same time, she couldn't help but be interested in this.

What's waterbending?

Is it like abomination magic?

If so then maybe she could use it with her abomination magic.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for the future, especially since Luz always gets into danger every now and then.

Well, she can figure that out later.

For now, Amity gave a soft giggle and said softly "I might not know much of what you're talking about Luz, but it does sound fun and whatever this waterbending thing is might help with my abomination magic."

This made Luz stop her rambling and freeze in place before she turned to her girlfriend with a beaming smile.

"Yeah," Luz said, with a beaming smile. "It will be so cool and awesome!"

Amity couldn't help but giggle and said "You're such a dork."

"But I'm your dork," Luz said sheepishly, with a small grin.

Amity looked away with a massive blush on her face before she shook her head and said "A-Anyways, let's continue our research and see what these other glyphs can do."

Luz smiled and gave a nod before she and Amity turned to the other glyphs in front of them.

"Here, let's try this one next," Amity said, pointing to the ice, fire, and light glyph combo with a smile. "Maybe it's the wind glyph you were talking about earlier."

Luz gave an excited nod before she turned and pressed on the new glyph.

A small wind tornado was formed on the paper that made Luz jump in excitement.

"Yes, all I need is earth or construction and I'll be the next Avatar," Luz said in excitement, while whipped a fake tear from her eyes. "I'm so proud of myself for this."

"Hey," Amity started to say, with a frown and crossed her arms. "I helped too, you know."

Luz couldn't help but give a soft giggle before she turned and pressed a soft cheek kiss on Amity's cheek, that made Amity's face blush crimson.

"I know that, sweet potato," Luz said, with a soft smile. "And I can't thank you enough for it."

Amity didn't say anything while her face gave a deep blush before she shook her head and turned to Luz with a soft smile.

"Well, I know how you can pay me back," Amity said, with a teasing smile.

"Azura movie, marathon?" Luz asked, with a teasing smile.

"You know me so well," Amity said with a teasing smile, before she shook her head and gave a soft chuckle. "But, I think one movie would work tonight."

"True," Luz agreed, with a small nod.

Amity gave a small nod before she and Luz both turned to the two glyphs they hadn't touched with worried looks on their faces.

"So, which one do we try next?" Luz asked slowly, with a worried look on her face.

"Hm, let's try this one," Amity said, pointing to the two fire and two plant glyph combo with a frown. "I think this one is the monster hand one."

Luz gave a small nod with a frown and said gently "Alright, here goes nothing."

Taking a slow deep breath, Luz slowly and hesitantly pressed on the glyph combo before she and Amity watched as the new glyph glowed red and a red monstrous claw hand shot out from it.

"Wah!" Luz shouted, jumping back from the monstrous red claw hand.

"Luz!" Amity shouted in worry, before she made a spell circle and a purple abomination hammer was formed and slammed on the red hand that was destroyed like slime.

There was silence between the two girls, before Amity turned to Luz in worry and concern.

"Luz, are you ok?" Amity asked, sounding worried and concerned.

"Yeah, I'm ok," Luz said slowly with a small nod, before she and Amity turned to the new glyph with worried and concerned looks on their faces. "Guess we know what this glyph can do."

Amity gave a small nod and said in worry "Y-Yeah, t-this one caught us by surprise, huh."

"Y-Yeah," Luz said slowly, with a small nod before she shook her head and gave a worried look on her face. "L-Let's just forget about this and never use this glyph again, ok."

Amity couldn't help but frown and asked gently "Do you really want to get rid of this glyph, Luz?"

Luz turned to Amity with a raised eyebrow and asked in confusion and worry "W-What do you mean, Amity?"

"I mean," Amity started to say, before she gave a sigh. "I know it looks dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt, but maybe we can use this glyph in case something like Belos or the Golden Guard happens again."

"Amity, do you really think I will run into Belos or the Golden Guard again?" Luz asked, with a raised eyebrow and gave a huff.

Amity looked at her girlfriend with a flat and deadpan look on her face, that made Luz flinch and look away with a hesitant gulp.

"No offense Luz, and as much as I love you," Amity started to say, before she shook her head and gave a sigh. "You're basically a trouble magnet even if you're not doing it on purpose."

"Hey, I take offense to that," Luz said, turning to Amity with her arms crossed and giving a huff in frustration.

"Uh-huh," Amity said bluntly, before she started to giggle at Luz's huff. "I'm sorry Luz, but you look so cute with that huff."

Luz looked away with a pout on her face.

"Now you look cute with that pout," Amity said, with a soft giggle.

"Amity," Luz muttered, with a pout on her face.

"Amity!" Luz whined, with her face flushed red  before she turned to see Amity, with her scroll out and pointed to her with a playful smile.

"I'm sorry, Luz," Amity said, with a soft giggle, not sounding sorry at all. "But, you just look so cute with that pout."

Luz gave a frown before she grabbed Amity's scroll with a chuckle.

"Can we focus, please?" Luz asked softly, with a soft chuckle.

"Your right, your right, I'm sorry, Luz," Amity said, sounding apologetic, with a firm nod and gave a long sigh, trying to get her mind to focus on the task at hand. "I'm sorry Luz, I'm ready to focus now."

Luz could feel Amity's discomfort making her start to get worried, before she turned and side hugged Amity with a worried look on her face.

"I'm sorry, Amity," Luz said worriedly, side-hugging Amity with a worried look on her face. "I know you mean well and were just teasing, but I wasn't really angry at you and couldn't stand the teasing anymore since I wanted to find a way home and find a new glyph combo that would make me a more badass then I already am."

That got a chuckle out of Amity, who slowly turned to Luz with a grin and asked softly "Calling yourself a badass, really Luz?"

"What can I say, Blight?" Luz asked simply, with a shrug. "With my glyph magic and knowledge, I'm becoming more of a badass everyday."

Amity rolled her eyes playful, before playfully nudging Luz and said softly "Alright, you win this round, Noceda."

"Whatever you say, Blight," Luz shot back softly, with a teasing grin.

Rolling her eyes playfully, Amity turned back to the glyphs before she gave a frown and said in thought "Anyways, back to the glyphs. I feel like we should keep the monster glyph just in case something dangerous happens. Plus, with your plant glyph, you could use them to fly or swing around the isles like a monkey."

Luz's eyes slowly widened in shock and excitement.

"Just like Spider-Man," Luz said, sounding shocked and excited.

"I have no idea who that is, Luz," Amity said, turning to Luz with a soft chuckle in amusement. "Is it someone from the human realm?"

"Only one of the best Marvel heroes of all time," Luz said, with an excited smile on her face. "Besides other heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, and all the other Marvel heroes and villains in the comic book universe."

"They sound fun," Amity said, with a smile and gave a nod. "Can't wait to read them someday."

"Oh, I can show you, Willow, Gus, Eda, and King the whole Marvel Chitimatic Universe one day," Luz said in excitement, before she gave a shrug and chuckled to herself. "Besides, there are like 23 movies you guys need to watch to get you all caught up in the infinity saga."

"23 movies," Amity said, astonished by the amount of movies she and her friends need to watch to catch up to this 'MCU'.

"Yup," Luz said simply, with a nod before thinking about it more. "Although, I don't know if the netflix marvel shows could be in the MCU yet. Plus, it is more adult and has more blood than the MCU ever had."

"I think we'll wait until we're older to watch the Netflix Marvel stuff," Amity said, with a shrug and gave a smile. "Besides, I wonder what else the human realm has to offer."

"Maybe, I could show you around the human realm when we get a new portal up and running," Luz said slowly, with a fond smile.

"Oh, and what do you want me to say to that?" Amity asked, with a teasing grin. "I'm getting that date, like I thought back to the library incident today."

"Yeah, like..." Luz started to say before she froze and turned to Amity, who slowly looked away with a small blush on her face. "Wait, whaat?!"

"Yeah," Amity said slowly, with a small nod and a blush on her face. "When you said that you would show me around the human realm, I was thinking of going on a date with you during that time."

"Amity," Luz whispered softly, with a worried look on her face.

"I know it probably wasn't anything serious and was just joking at the time," Amity said slowly with a soft chuckle, before she turned to Luz with a warm smile. "But if it wasn't a joke then I wouldn't mind going on a real date with you in the human realm."

"Oh Amity," Luz said slowly, with an excited smile "I promise you, Amity Blight. As soon as the new working portal door is ready and after I talk to my mom, I will take you on the most slice of life date possible."

"I know," Amity said softly, before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss on Luz's cheek, that made Luz's cheeks flushed red at the action.

"Anyways," Amity said, turning back to the glyph papers and books with a smile. "I think we can use the monster hands, just like your vine part of your plant glyph and..."

She slowly stopped what she was saying when she began to remember something, making her eyes slowly widen in worry and realization.

"Amity," Luz said, looking at her girlfriend with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Are you ok?"

"I," Amity started to say, before she shook her head and turned to Luz with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Luz, you fought Belos, right?"

"Um, yeah," Luz said, sounding confused, with a raised eyebrow in confusion. "I fought Belos on the day of the petrification, in order to try and save Eda from turning to stone with King and Lilith."

Amity gave a nod and said in worry "Then, what kind of magic did Belos use during your fight with him?"

"Huh," Luz said, sounding confused with a raised eyebrow before she turned and began to think about it for a second with a frown. "When I fought Belos the first time, he used these red monstrous hands like..." She slowly stopped what she was saying when she remembered something, making her eyes slowly widen in shock and amazement. "Like the glyph we just used a few seconds ago."

"If that's true then," Amity started to say, sounding worried and concerned. "Could Belos possibly be using glyph magic instead of real magic like us witches?"

"Well," Luz said slowly, with a shrug and gave a worried look on her face. "Has he ever used a spell circle like you guys before I came to the isles?"

"Not to my knowledge, no," Amity said slowly, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Luz, if this is true and Belos is using glyphs then w-what does that even mean? Is Belos even a witch? Can he even talk to the titan at all? If this is true and since he's been using his staff then that could only mean that either Belos is a later bloomer or..."

"He's from the human realm like me," Luz said in realization, with a shocked and stunned look on her face.

"It's only a theory," Amity said slowly, before she began to panic a little. "But if it's true that Belos never used a spell circle, has been using glyphs this whole time, and is possibly a human like you, then, what does this all mean for us? For the people in the boiling isles? Is the day of unity really about the isles uniting us with the titan? If the day of unity's a lie then everyone will probably be dead or worse, right?! Luz, my family, my siblings, they are all going too-"

"Hey, hey, hey," Luz said quickly and gently, seeing her girlfriend start to spiral out of control with her thoughts, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Breath Amity, breath."

Amity took a deep breath and sighed heavily, while leaning her head on Luz's shoulder with a deep sigh and frowned.

"What have we gotten ourselves into, Luz?" Amity asked hesitantly, with a frown.

"I don't know, Amity," Luz said slowly, with a frown on her face as well. "Let's wait and tell Eda what we found after we get done with our glyph research, or do you want to go and tell Eda right now?"

Amity slowly shook her head and said slowly "N-No, I-I want to wait. B-Besides, I could use a distraction from what we just figured out."

"Yeah, good idea," Luz agreed, with a small nod, before she and Amity turned back to their notes and gave tired sighs.

"Luz," Amity started to say, sounding tired and worn out. "As much as I want to look into glyph notes and find more glyphs with you, I'm a bit worn out after what we just uncovered just now."

"Yeah, same," Luz agreed, with a small nod before she gave a tired sigh and turned to the crystal ball. "You want to just watch an Azura movie and call it a night."

"I would love that," Amity said tiredly, before she turned to Luz with a soft smile. "I also wouldn't mind sleeping here or at the owl house tonight."

Luz couldn't help but give a soft chuckle and said "I will need to talk to Eda but, I'm sure she wouldn't mind. After all, after what we just found out, she'll need to owe us for our hard earned work."

"That's true," Amity agreed with a nod, before she gave a yawn and slowly leaned into Luz's shoulder with a comforting smile. "Put the movie on for us, Sweet Potato."

"Really, using nicknames now," Luz said, with an amused chuckle. "Are we really that cheesy of a couple?"

"Eh," Amity started to say, with a shrug. "We're both Azura nerds and know everything about the series. So, yes, we are a cheesy couple. Now," She turned to Luz and pointed to the crystal ball, with a child-like pout. "Put on Azura or I'm going to kick you off my grom tree."

"Really, Amity," Luz said flatly, with a flat look on her face before she gave a chuckle in amusement. "Alright, alright, alright. I'll put Azura on the crystal ball but first..."

Without saying anything more, Luz gave Amity a soft kiss on the forehead before she turned and began to look for an Azura movie on the crystal ball while ignoring Amity's gay panic and her blushing face.

After finding an Azura movie to watch, Luz and Amity began to get comfortable under their grom tree and began to watch the movie while laying under the blanket.

While the two girls were watching the movie, Luz couldn't help but grab her glyph notebook and began drawing a few glyphs on a blank page.

"You're supposed to be watching the movie, Luz," Amity said slowly, sounding teasingly, before she turned to Luz with a small smile.

"Sorry Ams," Luz said, with a soft chuckle. "I just get distracted so easily when I want to focus on something like my glyph drawing or drawing period."

"It's ok," Amity said slowly, before she gave a yawn and rested on Luz's arm and shoulder. "I'm more tired than wanting to watch the movie anyways."

"Yeah," Luz said slowly, sounding a little tired herself. "I might just have to join you on that account here in a few minutes."

Amity hummed softly, before she turned and saw Luz drawing three circles with the ice and light glyph on both sides and the plant glyph in the middle, making her raise an eyebrow with a frown.

"What kind of glyph is that, Luz?" Amity asked, with a raised eyebrow and frowned.

Luz shrugged and said "Ever since I used my new abomination glyph to make a freebie shield like Captain America's, I've been thinking of a combination glyph that could make a shield for me..."

"And, you think this is the glyph," Amity said slowly, looking at the glyph in shock.

"That's the plan, at least," Luz said with a smile, before she grabbed a separate piece of paper and began to draw the new glyph.

Once she was done drawing the glyph, Luz got up to her feet and pressed on the glyph with a worried look on her face.

Luz and Amity, who slowly sat up and turned to her girlfriend, watched in shock and awe as the new glyph glowed white and turned into a glowing white barrier around her with the new glyph symbol around her, making their eyes widen in shock and amazement.

"Ok, not what I was expecting," Luz said slowly, with a look of shock and awe.

"Y-Yeah," Amity said slowly, with a small nod and looked at the barrier in shock and awe.

After a few minutes, the glowing white barrier slowly went away to the point where Luz and Amity began to ignore the movie and looked at where the glyph was with a shocked look on their faces.

"Whoa," Luz said, with a look of shock and amazement. "That's so cool."

"Yeah," Amity said slowly, with a small nod in shock before she began to get an idea. 

Slowly getting up to her feet, Amity made a spell circle and an abomination glove appeared in her left hand.

"Hey Luz," Amity said, turning to Luz with a small smirk. "Create that new barrier glyph again."

"Um ok," Luz said, sounding confused, before she grabbed a blank piece of paper, pen, and began to draw the new glyph.

"But I don't see-Whoa!"

She was cut off when she saw Amity run up and try to punch her with her abomination gauntlet, making her jump back in shock.

Shaking her head out of her shock, Luz looked down and finished the new barrier glyph before she looked up to see Amity turning to her while her abomination gauntlet morphed into a whip and charged it to her.

Looking down and finishing the new glyph, Luz looked up and pressed on the new barrier glyph that began to glow white.

The white barrier formed in front of Luz and took the hit as the abomination whip hit the barrier but didn't destroy it, while the abomination whip turned into slime, shocking both Luz and Amity.

"No way," Amity said, with a shocked look on her face, before she formed an abomination sword and jumped in the air. "Ok, then let's try this!"

Luz yelped when she saw Amity jump and slam her abomination sword at the barrier but it didn't so much as scratch, making both girl's eyes widen in shock and amazement.

Before either of them could say anything, they watched as the barrier slowly shrunk down and formed a shield around Luz's right fist, making both their eyes widen in shock again.

"Cool," Luz said, looking at the new glyph shield on her right hand in shock and awe.

"Yeah," Amity agreed with a small nod, before she remembered something and gave a frown. "Wait, then why did it turn into a barrier and not a shield the first time?"

Luz shrugged and said "Maybe it saw you as a threat or something."

"But I'm your girlfriend, Luz," Amity said flatly, with her arms crossed and gave a frown. "I would never hurt you like-"

"Like what you just did a second ago," Luz said, looking at Amity with a smug grin.

"That was mainly to test the new glyph and you know it," Amity said, with her face flushed red and pointing to Luz and the new glyph accusingly. "Besides, I didn't know that the new shield glyph could stop my abomination magic."

Luz didn't believe her girlfriend for a second and just shook her head, before she turned to her new glyph shield and began to get an idea.

"Hey Amity," Luz said slowly, turning to Amity with a small smug grin. "Think fast!"

Without thinking twice, Luz threw her glyph shield at Amity, who yelped and formed a huge abomination in front of her while she ducked for cover.

The glyph shield sliced Amity's abomination in half, making Luz's eyes widen in shock before she put her left hand up to try and summon her glyph shield back.

The new glyph shield spun around and flew back to Luz, who caught the shield with her left hand, who looked down at the shield in shock.

"Whoa," Luz said slowly, in shock and awe. "This is so cool."

"Yeah," Amity said, walking around her abomination with abomination goo all over her hair and clothes with a frown. "So cool."

"Heh, sorry about that, Hermosa," Luz said, with a soft chuckle, while her glyph shield began to glow gray and fade away. "Guess I didn't think what would happen after I threw my new glyph shield just now."

"I-It's fine, Luz," Amity said slowly, before she made a spell circle that made the abomination slowly get off her clothes, with a sigh in relief. "That's much better."

She looked to Luz with her arms crossed and gave a frown.

"Now, about that barrier/shield glyph," Amity said, with her arms crossed and gave a frown. "I think the glyph can turn into a shield when you put the glyph on your knuckles or hand but if you put it in front of you..."

"It will turn into a barrier," Luz finished for Amity, with a shocked look on her face. "That's so cool."

A thought came to Luz, before she looked up to Amity with her arms crossed and gave a smirk on her face.

"You know," Luz started to say, with her arms crossed and gave a smirk. "If it wasn't for your parents controlling your life and following the laws the emperor's coven put out, then you would make a pretty good wild witch, Amity."

"Ah," Amity said, crossing her arms and giving a chuckle in amusement. "How dare you, Noceda."

Luz couldn't but give an amused chuckle before she and Amity turned to the books and notebook on glyphs with frowns on their faces.

"We're not going back to the movie," Amity said, already knowing the answer and was regretting asking anyway. "Are we, Luz?"

"Do you even need to ask?" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a small smirk. "Besides, it's not like-"

"We have school tomorrow, Batada," Amity said, with her arms crossed and gave a frown. "Besides, don't you think we should call it a day and get some sleep."

"You just want to have an excuse for us to sleep together for the night," Luz said, with a teasing grin.

Amity's face flushed red before she looked away and stuttered out a weak "N-N-No, of course not. T-That's ridiculous."

Luz didn't believe her before she got an idea and smiled misviously.

Without saying anything, Luz grabbed a piece of paper and drew two ice glyphs on it before putting it on the ground and pressing on it.

Amity rolled her eyes and said flatly "Knock it off, Luz. We need to get ready for-Whhhhhaaaaaaattttttttt?!"

She stopped herself when she saw an ice sculpture of Luz taking off her sweatshirt, revealing her bra that made her face flush a huge shade of crimson while feeling a little weak in the knees.

"L-L-Luz, that's not," Amity started to say in a shudder before she turned to see another ice sculpture of her and Luz kissing with Luz catching her, making her face crimson even more.

"L-Luz, I swear to the titan, I'm gonna..." Amity started to say again before she turned to see a third ice sculpture of her and Luz making out under their grom tree that made her face flush a deep shade of crimson (if that was even possible) and she almost... almost...

"STOP IT!" Amity screeched with her face flushed a shade of full on crimson before she made multiple spell circles and a huge wave of pink fire shot out and destroyed the three ice sculptures.

Luz saw the pink fire come to her, before she grabbed a blank piece of paper and made the shield glyph.

Putting the shield glyph on her hand, Luz pressed on the glyph as the shield glyph was formed around her hand before she looked up and shielded herself, the books, notebook, crystal ball, and the grom tree from the upcoming pink fire that Amity made.

The pink fire hit the glyph shield but it didn't destroy the shield, and instead protected Luz from the pink fire, making the human girl's eyes widen in shock and amazement.

Ok, this was so cool.

She will need another test run when she gets back home but that can wait until later.

For now, Luz turned to see the pink fire slowly fading away and saw Amity fall to her knees, breathing heavily and sweating, making her start to get worried.

"Amity?" Luz asked gently, sounding worried and concerned.

Ignoring the burning grass, Luz ran up to Amity and asked gently, sounding worried and concerned, "Amity, are you ok?"

"I," Amity started to say, breathing heavily with her face flushed red. "I need a few minutes."

Luz couldn't help but feel a little guilty before she hesitantly put a hand on Amity's back and said gently "I'm sorry about that, Amity. I know I might've created those ice sculptures for fun and to try out my new shield glyph, I didn't mean to push you like that."

"It's... It's ok, Luz," Amity said slowly, breathing heavily before she looked up and gave a threatening glare at Luz, making the girl give a nervous gulp in worry and fear. "Never do that again."

"Noted," Luz said quickly, with a small nod and gave a worried and scared look on her face. "Will you-"

"No, I will not break up with you, Luz," Amity said sternly, cutting Luz off with a stern glare. "However, I will put you in the dog house and give you the silent treatment for the next three weeks. Understand."

"Y-Yes, ma'am," Luz said quickly, with a quick nod and gulped nervously.

With a long and tired sigh, Amity slowly got back up to her feet while winching a little and whispered out "We are going to spend the rest of the night watching Azura and you will NOT touch or look into your glyph notes or glyph magic, understand?"

"B-But Amity..."

"Understand?!" Luz shuttered from Amity's stern and angry shout, before she gave a quick nod and said quickly "Y-Y-Yes, Amity. I promise, I'm done with glyph magic today."

"Good," Amity muttered out with a small nod, before she turned and began to slowly walk up to the grom tree. "Now, let's go and actually watch the Azura movie this time."

"Ok," Luz said slowly, with a small nod and followed Amity back to their grom tree, with a worried look on her face. "So, what do you think of the new shield glyph?"

"It's... effective," Amity said honestly, with a small nod. "We can use that glyph in case something like Belos or the Golden Guard comes and tries to fight you, Eda, or King again."

Luz gave a small nod and said honestly "Thank you for your opinion, Amity."

"Luz," Amity started to say, with a small sigh. "I'm not mad at you... Ok, I might be a little annoyed that you forced me to use my pink fire to the point where I'm burned out, but I'm not angry at you. Mift, yes, but I'm not angry."

Luz gave a small nod, before she turned to Amity and said in worry and guilt "I'm sorry I made you go all out without your permission."

"And?"

"And, I'm sorry for throwing my new glyph shield at you and cutting your abomination in half."

"And?"

"And, for getting abomination slime on your clothes?"

"Apology accepted," Amity said, turning to Luz with a smile and gave a firm nod. "Besides, you can do that mess with Eda, Hooty, King, and Lilith but not me. I'm your girlfriend, and I get special girlfriend privileges."

"Oh," Luz said, with a teasing grin. "Like what?"

Amity slowly looked away, with a small blush and said slowly "I don't know yet, but I will think of something for later."

Luz couldn't help but giggle softly and said "Ok, I'll let you think of something for later. For now, how about we continue our Azura movie."

"There's the Luz I know and love," Amity said, with a soft and playful smile on her face.

Walking up to their grom tree, Luz and Amity sat up everything again with Luz making the teleporting glyph and teleported her books and notes on glyph back to her room, Amity watched this and nodded approvingly.

Once Luz was done putting her books and notes on the teleporting glyph, she pressed down on the teleporting glyph as the plant, fire, and ice glyphs began to brighten up as an orange fire light came up and teleported the books and notes to her room, at least she hopped they teleported to her room back at the owl house.

With that done, Luz turned around and walked up to Amity with a small smile.

Walking up to Amity, Luz sat down next to her girlfriend and replayed the movie to where they left off before she laid back and moved her left hand over Amity, who laid down on her chest with a smile as they watched the movie.

While they were watching the movie, Amity slowly looked down with a worried and scared look on her face.

"Hey Luz, what's going to happen now?" Amity asked hesitantly, with a worried and scared look on her face.

"What do you mean, Amity?" Luz asked, sounding worried and concerned.

Amity slowly pushed up and looked to Luz in worry and concern.

"I mean," Amity started to say, sounding worried and scared. "Now that we know, or that we theorize that Belos might be human and use glyphs like you. I know there's a thing called 'Late bloomer' but Belos has been in the Boiling Isles and has ruled the isles for what, 50 years now, at least that's how much of our history in the demon realm we went to before Belos came to the isles."

Luz gave a small nod before she gave a small frown and said "I-I don't-Wait, did you just say that Belos has been ruling the isles for 50 years?"

Amity gave a nod and said with a shrug "Yes. Although, I don't know how time works in the human realm but here, we have six or seven days depending on the months on our calendars."

Luz gave a nod before she gave a frown and said "Boiling isles version of a calendar is weird."

Amity gave a smirk and said "The same could be said for the human realm version of a calendar, right?"

"Shut up, Amity," Luz grumbled under her breath, with a pout.

Amity couldn't help but giggle at Luz's frown before she gave a sigh and said softly and hesitantly "But I'm serious, Luz. If Belos or the emperor's coven finds out about this then they will be after us. Our friends, our families, the emperor's coven will be after us and try to kill us while being branded as wild witches. I... I honestly don't know how I'm going to take being branded as a wild witch. I mean, I would probably be fine with it, and my siblings are born trouble makers, but my parents. I might not care about them since my mom controlled my life before you came here and my dad is... well, you know..."

Luz gave a nod of understanding, before she looked at Amity with a worried look on her face and said gently "For now, I think it would be best to keep this information a secret from the public and talk to Eda about this, after the movie is over."

Amity gave a small nod before she turned back to the movie and laid down on Luz's chest and stomach with a worried and scared look on her face.

She was honestly worried or scared about this and the secret they just theorized but as long as she had Luz then everything would be fine, right?

She didn't know and that scared her but at the same time, she knew that as long as she and Luz were together then there was nothing they couldn't handle.

Belos or not, they could face anything as long as they had each other.

That thought brought a smile to Amity's face, as she cuddled closer to Luz, who couldn't help but chuckle in amusement.

"What are you smiling about?" Luz asked, with a chuckle in amusement.

"Just thinking about things," Amity said softly, with a smirk and shrugged to herself. "But, I'll tell you later. For now, let's focus on the movie."

"Alright," Luz said simply with a shrug, before she turned to the crystal ball and watched the Azura movie with a smile. "I'll just have to wait until the movie is over to see what you're thinking about."

Amity's eyes widened with her face flushed a deep shade of red, before she closed her eyes and groaned to herself in embarrassment.

Luz didn't say anything and just watched the movie with a smile on her face, while ignoring Amity's groans in embarrassment.

After the movie, Luz and Amity slowly began to stretch, with Amity sitting up from Luz with a smile.

"That was a good movie," Amity said, with a smile and a yawn.

"Yeah, it was," Luz said, with a yawn herself, before she turned to Amity with a smile. "So, what do you want to do now?"

Amity gave a shrug and said "You mean besides telling Eda about our theory on Belos, I don't know. We can watch another Azura movie but it would be close to being time for bed, u-unless y-you want us to s-sleep together tonight..."

Amity's face blushed a shade of crimson before she shook her head and looked to Luz in worry.

"N-No, forget what I just said! I-It's seriously too early for something like that, r-right?!" Amity asked, with her face blushing a shade of crimson.

"Uh, r-right?!" Luz agreed, with her face giving a massive blush as well, before she shook her head and got up to feet with a nervous chuckle. "A-Anyways, let's get back to the owl house and tell Eda what we've found."

"Y-Yeah, good idea," Amity agreed, with a small nod and gulped nervously.

Getting up from the ground, Amity began to grab and fold the blanket, while Luz began to draw the teleporting glyph in front of her and Amity.

Once Luz was done drawing the teleporting glyph, she turned to see Amity walking up to her with the blanket in her hands, with a smile.

"Ready?" Luz asked, with a smile.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Amity said, with a smile and gave a nod. Luz gave a nod before she turned and ran up to the crystal ball.

Grabbing the crystal ball, Luz ran up and pressed on the teleportation glyph, before she and Amity ran in the middle of the teleporting glyph as the glyph began to glow bright fire orange and they started to feel warm around them as they were transported back in the owl house.

Slowly opening their eyes, Luz and Amity saw that they were back in the owl house and were in Luz's room, making both of them look around in shock.

"Yeah, I will never get used to this," Luz said, with a soft chuckle in shock and amazement.

"Same," Amity agreed, with a small nod in agreement. "This is going to take some getting used to for me as well."

Luz gave a small nod in agreement, before she turned to see her books and notes on glyph magic, making her give a small smile.

"At least we know the notes have been brought back to my room thanks to the teleporting glyph," Luz said, turning to Amity with a smile.

Amity couldn't help but turn to Luz and roll her eyes playfully and said "You're such a dork."

"Hey, I'm serious about this, Amity," Luz said, sounding offended, before she gave a playful grin. "But, I'm your dork, remember?"

"Shut up, Luz," Amity said softly, with a soft chuckle and rolled her eyes playfully. "Anyways, let's go and talk to Eda on what we theorize about Belos and the new glyphs we found."

Luz gave a nod, before she turned and grabbed her books and notes on glyph magic, before she and Amity began to walk out of her room and to the living room.

Walking down the steps, Luz and Amity walked in the living room to see Eda laying on the couch with King lying on her stomach, making their eyes widen in shock and surprise.

"Huh," Luz said, with a shocked look on her face. "I didn't think Eda and King would be asleep like this."

"Yeah," Amity agreed, with a small nod in agreement. "Although, we did try out a new glyph and watch the Azura movie before coming here."

"Good point," Luz agreed with a small nod, before she turned to Amity with a frown. "You want to go outside and train with my new shield glyph?"

Amity turned to Luz with a flat look on her face and said flatly "Luz, you and I both know you just want to use that as an excuse to play with your new shield glyph."

"G-Gulty as charged," Luz studdered out with a nervous gulp, before she shook her head and put her books and notebooks down on the floor next to her. "But Amity, it will be fun. Also, you can try new ways to use your abomination magic and teach me new ways to use my abomination glyph."

"Tempting," Amity admitted with a small nod, before she shook her head. "But, it's already getting late and if I stay here any longer then mom would probably demand me to come back home for something stupid or ground me."

"Fine," Luz said, giving a pout, before she got an idea and turned to Amity with a smile. "Hey Amity, would you be willing to try out an experiment?"

"What kind of experiment?" Amity asked, with her arms crossed and raised an eyebrow.

Luz gave a smile and asked "Have you ever tried to use your abomination magic to make glyphs?"

"What?" Amity asked, sounding shocked and bewildered by this. "No. Why?"

Luz gave a shrug and said "Well, since we have the teleporting glyph, we should find an easier way to use it like you using your abomination magic to make things easier to travel from place to place."

"That would be a good idea for us to use the teleporting glyph if we need to make a quick getaway," Amity said thoughtfully with her arms crossed, before she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend. "However, I know you're only using this as an excuse to stay up and try to test your new shield glyph. Am I right?"

Luz began to sweat and whispered softly "M-Maybe."

Amity just sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation and exasperation.

"Titan above, please help my idiot, adorable, beautiful, and oblivious girlfriend," Amity grumbled under her breath, before she took a deep breath through her nose and turned to Luz with narrowed eyes, that made Luz flinch a little under the stern and narrowed glare. "Fine, but this time, I'm using everything I have in my abomination magic and after this, you'll go straight to bed, understand."

Luz gave a quick nod before she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote the shield glyph on it.

Once she was done, Luz put the glyph shield on her left hand and pressed on it as the glyph shield formed around her arms.

Amity gave a sigh, before she took a deep breath and focused on her abomination magic that was in her bile-sac as she slowly formed a spell circle and a gauntlet-like fist formed into her left hand.

Slowly opening her eyes, Amity looked to Luz with a serious look on her face and asked softly, sounding worried and concerned "Are you ready, Luz?"

Luz gave a smirk and said "Yeah. Give me all you got, Amity."

Well, how was she supposed to say no to that? With that thought in mind, Amity gave a smirk before she let out a battle cry and moved her abomination gauntlet forward.

Luz saw Amity's attack coming and moved her shield to where Amity's gauntlet was going to hit.

Once the gauntlet and shield collided, a shockwave came between Luz, Amity, and the living room that sent both girls back while the notes and books began to fly around the room.

The shockwave even woke Eda and King, who both looked around in worry and confusion.

"Huh, what happened?!" Eda asked, looking around in worry and confusion.

"Weh," King said, looking around in worry and confusion. "What's going on? Are we under attack?"

"No," Eda said, turning to see Luz and Amity groaning, making her raise an eyebrow. "At least, I don't think so."

Slowly getting up from the couch, Eda, along with King, looked around to see glyph notes and books all around the living room before they turned to both girls in worry and confusion.

"Are you two-What the heck is that?!" Eda started to say, before she saw the Shield on Luz's hand, making her eyes widen in shock.

Luz and Amity slowly got up to their feet with groans before both girls turned to see the glyph shield was still activated, making both eyes widen in shock.

"Whoa," Luz said, looking at the glyph shield with a shocked look on her face. "This thing is seriously powerful."

"Yeah," Amity agreed slowly, with a small nod. "And I was going all out with my abomination magic as well."

"Wait, what?!" Eda asked, turning to Amity with a shock look on her face. "You were going all out with your magic!"

"Well, not everything," Amity admitted, with a shrug. "I saved some of my magic so my bile-sac won't run out and I pass out."

Eda gave a small nod, before she turned and stared at the glyph shield in awe.

"By the way," Eda said, pointing to the glyph shield in shock and awe. "How did you do that? I've never seen a glyph combo like that before."

"This," Luz said, turning the new glyph shield with a smug grin on her face. "I found this new glyph while me and Amity were watching an Azura movie together. Pretty cool, huh?"

She turned to a wall, before she threw the shield like a frisbee.

Luz, Amity, King, and Eda watched as the glyph shield bounced from wall to wall, making them all duck in cover while the glyph shield moved all around the room.

"Ah, anyone want to get that," King cried out, sounding worried and scared.

Luz gave a nod, before she turned and caught the glyph shield that was bouncing back to her with her left hand.

Amity, Eda, and King slowly got up to their feet, before they all turned to Luz and gave flat looks on their faces, that made Luz flinch a little.

"Uh, sorry about that," Luz said, with a nervous gulp in worry and fear.

Amity sighed, before she shook her head and asked with a small smile "Is that a good enough test for you, Luz?"

"Y-Yeah, that's enough of a test run with this new glyph," Luz said with a nervous gulp, before she turned to see the glyph shield slowly fade away from her hand.

"Wow," Eda said, looking at where the glyph shield faded away with a shocked look on her face before she smiled. "That could come in handy in the future."

"Yeah," Luz said, turning to Eda with an excited smile. "Also, I can turn the shield into a barrier if something crazy happens."

"Really?" Eda asked in shock, before she ruffled Luz's hair with a smug grin. "Not bad, kid."

Luz couldn't help but chuckle in amusement, while Amity crossed her arms and gave a frown.

Eda looked up to see Amity giving a frown, making her raise an eyebrow in worry and confusion.

"Boots, is there something wrong?" Eda asked, with a raised eyebrow in worry and confusion.

Amity gave a sigh, before she shook her head and turned to Eda with a worried look on her face.

"Eda," Amity started to say, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "There's something we need to talk to you about. I-It's about Belos and... glyph magic we theorized on while we were at our grom tree stop."

That made Eda and King freeze in place, with shock looks on their faces.

Eda slowly turned to see Luz slowly look down with a worried and scared look on her face, making her start to get worried.

"Luz," Eda started to say, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "What are boots talking about?"

Luz didn't say anything and turned to see Amity slowly walk up to her with a worried and scared look on her face, making her start to get a worried look on her face.

Giving a sigh, Luz turned to Eda with a worried look on her face and said "Actually Eda, it might be better if you and King sit down on the couch. It's going to be a lot to take in, even if it's a theory."

That made Eda and King start to get worried and concerned, before they followed Luz and Amity to the couch and sat down with worried looks on their faces.

"During our studies and working on new glyphs, we began to create a theory on Belos," Luz started to say, before she gave a sigh and turned to Eda with a worried and scared look on her face. "Eda, could Belos be using glyphs like me?"

"What?!" Eda asked, with a shock and stunned look on her face. "W-Where is this coming from?"

"Because while me and Amity were finding and researching new glyphs," Luz started to say, before she brought out a piece of paper and drew a glyph with a worried look on her face. "We found a glyph and a certain red monster hand that looked familiar from my fight with Belos while rescuing you from Petrification."

She grabbed the glyph and pointed in the air, before she pressed it and a sinewy strand shot out and hit the roof, making Eda, King, and Amity's eyes widen in shock and fear.

"Hey," King started to say, getting up and pointing to the sinewy strand with a shock look on her face. "That's the same thing Belos used back at the castle during the Petrification ceremony!"

"Now hold on there, King," Eda said, turning to King with a worried look on her face.

Before she shook her head and turned to Luz and Amity with a worried look on her face.

"I'm guessing there's more than this glyph that made this theory come to life," Eda said, with a worried and concerned look on her face.

"There is," Amity said slowly, sounding worried and scared about this. "There's the fact that Belos has been using a staff and has never used a spell circle like us witches. It's not much but since Luz is a human and uses glyphs then maybe Belos could be using his staff to make glyph magic from it."

"It's a possible theory," Eda admitted, with a small nod before she began to think about this herself. "I will need to talk to Lily about this but to my knowledge, I've never seen Belos make a spell circle and been using his staff and his body to use magic and move from place to place over the years."

Amity then had a thought that made her shutter in fear.

"D-Do you think Belos carved the glyphs into his body to make himself more powerful or something?" Amity asked slowly, turning to Eda with a worried and scared look on her face.

"What?!" Eda, Luz, King, and Hooty, who opened the door and slithered up to them, asked with shocked looks on their faces.

"No, no way," King said, shaking his head and turning to Eda with a scared look on his face. "There's no way, not even Belos would do something that stupid and carve glyphs into his body, r-right?"

Eda didn't say anything before she looked down and gave a frown.

"Well, if that was true then he would have to get a cure from something, even if it's temporary," Eda started to say with a frown, before she gave a chuckle. "But what cure would Belos have from putting glyphs on his body?"

However, when she, King, and Amity all turned to see Luz freezing in place with a horrified look on her face, making them start to get worried.

"Whoa, Luz," Eda started to say, sitting next to Luz with a worried look on her face. "Hey kid, are you ok?"

Luz didn't say anything and just shook her head, with a horrified look on her face.

"N-No," Luz said slowly, sounding scared and horrified. "I-I think I know how Belos cured himself from killing himself from carving glyphs into his body." She slowly turned and looked up to Eda, with a scared and horrified look on her face. "W-When me, Willow, and Gus were visiting the Belos's castle, I left the group and snuck around on my own before I found a door and peaked through it to see the throne room where I saw Lilith talking to Belos who looked sick before he... grabbed a palisman and eats or drains its soul."

Eda, Amity, and King gasped with Eda and King grabbing and cradling Owlbert while Amity covered her mouth with a horrified look on her face.

"N-No," Amity whispered softly, sounding horrified by what she just heard. "N-No, no, no, no, no! T-That's not true, i-is it?!"

Everyone turned to Eda, who didn't say anything and looked down with a frown.

After a few seconds of silence, Eda gave a sigh before she got up from the couch and said "Luz, I need you and Boots to make the teleporting glyph for me. I need to... head home and talk to my sister about this since she used to work in the emperor's coven and she might know something about this."

Luz and Amity didn't say anything as they both got up and began to draw the teleportation glyph in the living room.

Once they were done, Luz, Amity, Eda, and King got on the teleportation glyph with Luz getting ready to press on it, while Eda turned to Hooty and said with a serious look on her face "Hooty, I need you to stay and watch over the house. I honestly don't think Belos would try something since he doesn't know what we found out, but we can't take any chances right now."

"Awe," Hooty said, in a groan. "But I wanted to go and see Lulu again."

"Lulu?" Amity asked, turning to Luz with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

Luz gave a shrug and said with a chuckle "Oh yeah, Hooty and Lilith are actually friends and they've been messaging each other since Lilith returned home with her parents."

Amity gave a small nod before she turned to Hooty and cringed a little.

"I... honestly don't know how to feel about Lilith being friends with Hooty," Amity said slowly, with a worried look on her face.

"What did you just say about Lulu being friends with me!" Hooty screeched in anger, making Luz, Amity, Eda, and King jump from the shout.

"Alright, we're leaving now, bye Hooty!" Luz shouted, while slamming her hands on the teleportation glyph before she and her friends were teleported away.

Slowly opening their eyes, Eda, King, Luz, and Amity saw that they were at a wooden house that made Eda's eyes slowly widen in shock and fear.

"E-Eda," Luz said slowly, turning to Eda with a shock and worried look on her face. "Where are we?"

"We're," Eda started to say slowly, with a shocked look on her face. "At my childhood home."

This made Luz, Amity, and King gasp with shocked looks on their faces, while Eda gave a sigh and began to walk up to the front door.

Walking up to the door and giving a long sigh, Eda slowly moved her right fist up and hesitantly, began to knock on the front door.

After a few knocks, Eda began to take a few steps back while the front door opened, revealing Gwendolyn, who stopped and looked at her in shock.

"Little witchlit, is that you?" Gwendolyn asked slowly, looking at Eda in shock.

"Hey mom," Eda said softly, with a small smile. "Is Lily home?"

Gwendolyn was confused, before she gave a nod and said "Yes, she's in the living room."

Eda gave a nod, before she, Luz, and Amity, with King jumping on Luz's shoulder, walked in the house while Gwendolyn moved aside to let Eda and the kids in the house.

Looking around the house, Luz, Amity, and King saw a dining table, a fireplace, and a shelf that was filled with firewood while the walls were colored brown.

"Huh," Luz said, looking around the house with a shocked look on her face. "This place is a little homey."

"Yeah," Amity said slowly with a small nod, before she gave a small smile. "Actually, this feels more like a home than my own home at Blight Manner."

"Really?" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a shock look on her face. "You would want to live in a cabin house."

"Compared to living in a place like Blight Manner," Amity said with a shrug, before she turned to Luz with a smile. "I would like to live in a place like a cabin or a home that's not like a mansion or Blight manner with you a-and... o-other things..."

She finished her sentence while her face slowly blushed red.

Luz knew where Amity was going with this, making her face flush red as well.

"Huh," King said, looking at Luz and Amity with a confused look on his face. "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing!" Luz and Amity shouted in unison, while their faces blushed a crimson shade of red.

Eda, who overheard the conversation, gave a grin on her face while following her mom to the living room.

Walking in the living room, Eda froze when she saw her father was sitting on a rocking chair and was sound asleep, before she shook her head and turned to see Lilith sitting on the couch, working on some kind of paperwork making her give a smile.

"Hey Lily," Eda said, walking up to Lilith with a small smile. 

Lilith turned, before gasping and got up from the couch.

"Edalyn," Lilith said with an excited smile, before she ran up and hugged Eda with a smile. "It's so great to see you come back home after so long!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Eda said, breaking the hug and looking at Lilith with a worried look on her face. "I-I never said I was staying for the night since I..."

She gave a long and frustrated sigh.

"Listen Lily, there's something we need to talk to you about and it's seriously important."

This caused Lilith to get taken aback by this, before she turned to see Luz, Amity, and King look down, with worried and scared looks on their faces, making her start to get worried and concerned.

"Edalyn," Lilith started to say, turning to Edalyn with a worried and concerned look on her face. "What is going on? What did you and Luz find that you need to come home to after all these years?"

That made Eda give a nervous gulp before she slowly sat down on the couch and began to tell Lilith and Gwendalyn about how Luz and Amity found the teleportation glyph and about their theory on Belos.

At the end, Lilith gasped in shock and horror before she sat down and shook her head.

"No, no, no, no, no," Lilith started to say, with a worried and scared look on her face. "I-I admit that I saw Belos absorb the Palisman but I never knew what it was for and... he told me that I was special and the titan had big plans for me! I-I had no idea what it was really for!"

"Lily," Eda said slowly, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Hey Lily, I need you to calm down. None of this is your fault, ok. This was all Belos."

Lilith took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.

"Your right," Lilith said slowly, before she took a deep breath and turned to Eda with a worried look on her face. "I'm sorry, Edalyn."

"Eh, don't worry about it sis," Eda said, with a smirk, before her face turned serious. "Now, what do you think about Luz and Boots' theory about Belos?"

"Well," Lilith started to say, before she gave a sigh and shook her head. "It would make sense on why Belos absorb palisman into his body but... Belos has been ruling the isles for 50 years now, Edalyn. If Belos really is human then how did he come to the isles since he didn't have your portal door before the petrification ceremony?"

"That's part of what we're still trying to figure out," Eda said, with a nod and gave a frown. "This just seemed like more of a puzzle no matter what we find out at this point. The only human we know that made it to the isles is Luz here and this Philip Wittebane guy, whose dairy Boots and Luz was found just today at the library."

Amity gave a nod and said slowly "Yeah. After Luz researched Philip's dairy, we went to the forbidden stacks to get it... before we got caught and I got fired from my job. B-But it's ok, because Luz helped me get my job back and..."

She began to ramble a little bit with a blush on her face, earning smirks and teasing grins from Eda, Lilith, and Gwendalyn, before Eda turned to see Luz look down with a frown, making her start to get worried.

"Hey, Luz," Eda said, with a worried look on her face. "You ok, kid."

Everyone turned to see Luz looking down, making them start to get worried.

"Luz," Amity started to say, with a worried and concerned look on her face. "Are you ok?"

Luz didn't say anything and just looked down with a frown, as if she was in deep thought.

"From the echo-mouse, it looked like Philip Wittebane came to the boiling isles a long time ago, even before me, Amity, and you were ever born," Luz started to say, with a frown. "Like from the mid-1600s, the time when..."

She stopped as her eyes slowly widened in horror.

"W-When witch hunters were still a thing..."

"Witch hunters?!" Amity, Eda, King, Lilith, and Gwendalyn all shouted with shock and horrified looks on their faces.

"Luz, what are witch hunters?" Amity asked, sounding worried and scared of the answer. "Do witch hunters kill witches like u-"

"No!" Luz shouted, turning to Amity with a scared look on her face, before she shutters a little. "A-At least they don't kill real witches. The 1600's was a messed up time where witch hunters would burn human women to the stake because of their religion and..."

Luz began to explain Christianity and what witch hunters were in the mid-1600's before she told them that witch hunters weren't a thing anymore and humans were accepting of witches and magic... kinda...

At the end, Amity, King, Eda, Lilith, and Gwendalyn had shocked, stunned, and horrified looks on their faces, while Luz looked down with tears welling up in her eyes.

"I-It all makes sense now," Lilith whispered slowly, looking down in realization. "The coven system, the emperor's rise and facade, the emperor's coven itself, it's all leading up to Belos killing us witches during the day of unity in one fell swoop."

Eda looked down with her fists slowly clenched and gave a frown.

Titan damn it, she should have seen this coming.

She has been a rebel and fighting against the emperor's coven for years but she never thought it would ever be this bad.

Sure, she never heard of a witch hunter or the wittabane brothers before now and she didn't fully know about the human realm like Luz and probably Goops, but still...

"W-We have to do something,"

Everyone turned to see Amity looking like she was about to panic.

"W-We have to do something about this. We can't just let Belos, Philip, or whoever this witch hunter hurt or kill us, my family. As much as I hate and resent my parents, I don't want them to die as well as my siblings. I-I don't want anyone to die from this... well, except Belos..."

That made Eda and Lilith chuckle at this, before Eda sighs and said "As much as I like your cuttingness, boots. There's nothing we can do about this."

"What?!" Luz, Amity, and King shouted in unison, with shocked looks on their faces.

Lilith seemed to know where Edalyn was going with this, and gave a nod in agreement.

"It's not that we don't want to fight Belos," Lilith started to say, before she gave a sigh. "But Belos has influence in the isles for 50 years to the point that if we go out and exposed the truth to the isles, then they would that we're crazy or call us out on it... before an angry mob comes after us and-"

"Lilith!" Eda snapped, turning to Lilith with a glare.

Lilith yelped, before she looked away and said quickly "Forget I said anything about the angry mob thing."

Eda just gave a sigh, before she turned to the kids with a worried look on her face and said gently "But Lily's right, kids. If we go out and try something stupid then it won't end well, for anyone. We have to play this smart and that includes keeping this a secret until we know people who we can trust like..."

She stopped herself with her eyes widened before she closed her eyes and began to tear up a little.

"Eda," Luz said, looking at Eda with a worried look on her face. "Are you ok?"

Lilith looked to Eda with a worried look on her face, before she gave a sigh.

"When we were young, Edalyn had a lover," Lilith said slowly, turning to Luz, Amity, and King in worry. "Their name was Raine Whispers."

"Raine Whispers," Amity whispered, with a shocked look on her face. "Wait, aren't they part of the Bard Coven?"

"Yeah," Eda said slowly, turning to the kids with a worried look on her face. "When we were your age, we were inseparable but we broke up due to my curse and... I haven't seen Rainastorm since after that."

"Eda," Luz whispered with a worried and sad look on her face, before she gave a small frown. "Do you think Raine might help us with this?"

"Y-Yeah," Eda said simply, with a small nod and gave a smirk. "We might have our problems but I know they'll come through if I ask for something. The only problem is me actually working up the courage to actually give them a call."

"Eda," Luz whined, with a frown.

"Don't worry, kiddo," Eda said playfully, with a smile. "I'll call them tonight. It's been a long day and we could use some shut eye. Besides, we have a few months until the day of unity actually happens, so we have time to take things slow."

"B-But," Luz started to say with a frown, before she felt someone side-hug her, making her turn to see Amity side-hug her with a worried look on her face. "Amity, are you ok?"

"I," Amity started to say, sounding worried and scared. "I want to go back to the owl house and cuddle with you, if you're ok with it."

Luz's eyes widened when she heard the worried and scared tone in Amity's voice, before she gave a small nod and said softly "Ok, we can go back to the owl house and cuddle some more if you want."

Amity gave a nod before she and Luz slowly got up from the couch and began to walk out of the living room.

"Take King with you," Eda called out, with a worried look on her face.

"Weh?" King asked in confusion, before he turned to see Eda giving him a stern glare, making him roll his eyes and get up from the couch. "Alright, alright, alright, I'll go with Luz and cupcake killer back home, geez."

"You're never letting that go," Luz said, turning and looking down to King with a smile. "Are you, little buddy?"

"I'll never let that go until she pays up, you cupcake killer," King ranted, while following Luz and Amity out of the living room.

"Fine," Amity said with a tired sigh, but couldn't help the playful smile on her face. "What do you want in return for destroying your cupcake?"

"One hundred cupcakes, please," King said proudly, with a nod.

"King," Luz said sternly, looking down at King with a stern glare.

"Weh?" King asked, before he was flicked on the skull by Luz. "What did I say?"

"I'm not letting my girlfriend make one hundred cupcakes for you," Luz said, with her arms crossed and glared sternly at her little demon brother, who gave a groan.

"Fiiiine," King said, with a long groan. "Then ten cupcakes would save her from my wrath."

Luz just raised an eyebrow, making King falter a little.

"Five cupcakes?"

She raised an eyebrow even higher.

"Three cupcakes."

She gave a nod.

"Three cupcakes it is! Bring me three cupcakes by the end of the week and I'll forgive you for the cupcake incident."

Amity was shocked at what just happened.

Did Luz just defend her from her little demon brother?

She knew Luz loved King and admittedly, she became uneasy with the demand of one hundred cupcakes, but when she saw Luz defend her and scold her little brother, it relieved her of any stress and reminded her that King is still a little kid, no matter what kind of demon he might be.

Which reminds her, she still wants to go and explore King's island and explore the place with Luz sometime.

Maybe she could ask Eda if they could go there sometime in the future.

She will need to think about that later.

For now, Amity began to giggle and said with a smile "I'll have those cupcakes by the end of the week, don't worry King."

"See," King said, pointing to Amity with a nod. "She knows what she did wrong and now she's praising me like the tyrant I am!"

"You and I both know that Amity's only doing this is because she's my girlfriend," Luz said, with arms crossed and turned to Amity with a teasing smirk. "Isn't that right, Ams?"

"Yes, that's right Luz," Amity said with a smile, before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to Luz's cheek before she grabbed Luz's arm and leaned her head on her shoulder. "But, it's also because I know how to handle kids like King since I work and read to the kids at the library. Remember?"

"Y-Yeah, I remember Ams," Luz said cheekly, with a blush on her face while she, Amity, and King began to walk out of the house.

Eda, Lilith, and Gwendalyn watched the kids leave with smiles on their faces.

Before Lilith began to get worried and asked worriedly "Are you sure it's a good idea for them to head home like this? I mean, no offense to Luz and Amity but they probably don't know their way home from him..."

She was cut off when she heard a sniff, making her and her mom turn to see Eda start to break down into tears, making her start to get worried and concerned.

"Edalyn," Lilith started to say, with a worried look on her face. "This is more than meeting Raine again, isn't it."

"Oh, this is so much bigger than I could ever imagine, Lily, Mom," Eda confessed, with a sniff. "I first thought Luz was just some kid wanting to learn magic, and I knew Belos was a bastard but a human, a witch hunter, and now with him absorbing palisman and carving glyphs into his own body. This is just too much! If I had known or seen the signs and we still had the portal door, I would have dragged Luz back to the human realm myself. If I had just said 'no' to teaching Luz how to become a witch then none of this would be happening. Luz wouldn't have gotten caught in a wizard illusion, nearly got dissected in hexside, challenged Boots in a witches duel..."

"Making friends in Willow and Gus, helping Amity stand up for herself and becoming herself, saving you, me and King at the Petrification ceremony, helping our relationship as sisters, and helping us reconnect with mother of all people," Lilith said with an amused chuckle, before she turned to Eda with a smile. "Edalyn, I'm not saying Luz needs to fight Belos again or stop the day of unity but what I am saying is that you shouldn't give up on her or send her back to the human realm so easily, when Luz has done nothing but helped us since she gotten to the isles."

"Yeah," Eda agreed with a nod, before she gave a sniff and sighed. "But this is Belos we're talking about, he's the emperor Lily."

She gave a heavy sigh and looked down sadly.

"Luz, and King are just kids! They shouldn't be dealing with something like this and instead should just be worried about dates and what they are going to do on the weekend. I-It's just not fair..."

Lilith didn't say anything and just pulled Eda into a tight hug with a sad and worried look on her face.

"We have a few months until the day of unity," Lilith said slowly, with a worried look on her face. "Once you talk to Raine again and, after seeing if they can be trusted, you can get them up to speed and we can figure something out, together."

She slowly broke the hug and looked down sadly.

"Besides, you're not the only one who cares about Luz, King, or... Amity."

"Lily," Eda whispered slowly, with a shocked look on her face.

"I know my relationship with Amity has been... broken since the Convention incident," Lilith said gently, before she gave a sigh and looked to her sister in worry. "But, I do care about her as if she's my own daughter, the same way you care about Luz as your own."

"Really?" Eda asked in shock, before she gave a small smirk. "So, are you going to apologize to Baby Blight for using her to cheat during the witches duel?"

"I plan to do that," Lilith said slowly with a small nod, before she slowly looked away. "Eventually."

"Liliy," Eda said, in a scolding manner, with a frown.

"Oh come on, Edalyn," Lilith groaned, before she looked at Eda with narrowed eyes. "Are you going to talk to Raine and explain why you two broke up in the past?"

Eda flinched, before she crossed her arms and growled under her breath.

"That was a low blow, sister," Eda said, with a growl under her breath.

"That doesn't mean she's wrong though."

Eda froze in place in shock, before she, Lilith, and Gwendalyn turned to see Dell Clawthorn standing at the entrance to the living room with a worried look on his face.

"Hello, Witchlet," Dell said slowly, with a small smile.

Eda wanted to turn and run away but found herself not moving and gave a nervous gulp.

"H-Hi dad," Eda said slowly, with a worried look on her face.

"You're not running away this time," Dell said slowly, with a worried look on his face.

"Well, I'm just tired and all..." Eda started to say, before she shook her head and turned around to the door. "You know what, it doesn't matter. I need to get going and head home."

She began to walk to the door, but stopped when she heard her dad's voice behind her.

"It's been over twenty years since the witchlet," Dell said slowly, with a tired and sad sigh. "I can't keep chasing you around anymore."

"Then stop!" Eda shouted, turning around to face her father with tears welling up in her eyes. "I've ruined your life! Have you been able to carve a new palismen since I attacked you?"

She looked to see Dell's hand slowly rise before shaking, making her look away in shame and guilt.

"Stop trying to forgive me, I don't deserve it."

She turned and was about to open the door when she felt a hand on her shoulder, making her turn to see her father walk up to her with a smile.

"Now don't you worry, I'm not going to try that again," Dell said with a smile, before he held out a seed that made Eda's eyes widen in shock.

"What is that?" Eda asked slowly, with a shocked look on her face.

"It's a palisman seed," Dell said, with a smile. "My carving making days are over but I've been helping the Batqueen replenish her forest so someone new can learn the trade."

"Did you stop me just for you to brag?" Eda asked softly, with a small smile.

"Yes," Dell said simply with a smile, before he walked up and held out his hand. "But also to tell you, let the past stay in the past, witchlet, it's okay to move on."

He put the seed in Eda's hand with a smile.

Eda couldn't help but smile before she moved forward and hugged her father with years in her eyes.

Dell's eyes widened in shock, before he slowly closed his eyes and hugged Edalyn back.

Lilith and Gwendalyn smiled with tears welling up in their eyes.

"Hey Eda, are you coming or..." Luz started to say, while walking back in the door way before she stopped and smiled at seeing Eda and her dad hugging.

Breaking the hug, Dell smiled at Eda and said "Also, I think we gave something that might help with your investigation on Belos and this Philip Wittabane case."

"R-Really?" Eda asked, with a gasp.

"Yes," Dell said with a nod, before he turned and began to walk up the stairs. "Wait in the living room, I will just be a second."

"I'll go and help Dell find what he's looking for," Gwendalyn said, walking up and following Dell up the stairs with a worried look on her face. "You kids can wait at the dining table or in the living room. We will just be but a second."

This made Luz, Lilith, and Eda turn to each other with worried and confused looks on their faces.

"Hey Luz," Amity said, walking up to the door with King on her shoulder, with a worried look on her face. "Is Eda coming or what?"

"Yeah, give me a second here boots," Eda said, turning to Amity with a small smile. "My dad wants to show us something. I know we're in no rush but I'd like to see what he has that will blow our minds."

"Not the reaction I would hope for Eda," Luz said, walking up to Eda with a smile. "But, I'm always a fan of backstories, even if there are family backstories."

Eda couldn't help but chuckle, before she turned to the dining room table and said "Alright kiddo, let's just wait and see what my dad has that would blow our minds."

"Yeah," Luz said in excitement, with her fists in the air.

Amity crossed her arms but couldn't help but chuckle at her girlfriend's antics in amusement before she followed Luz back in the house and joined the clawthorns around the dining room table.

After a few minutes of waiting, Dell and Gwendalyn came down the stairs with Gwendalyn holding a book that made Luz, Amity, Eda, Lilith, and King's eyes slowly widen in confusion.

"Um mom," Eda said, with a confused look on her face. "What book did you get that from?"

Walking up to the table, Gwendalyn sat the book down with a worried look on her face and said "This book contains the history of us Clawthorns, dated all the way back to Evelyn's time period."

"Evelyn?" Eda asked slowly, with a shocked look on her face.

Dell gave a sad nod, before he opened the book and turned to a page that had a family tree on it.

Luz, Amity, Eda, and Lilith got up from their chairs and looked at the Clawthorn family tree with shocked looks on their faces.

"Not much is known about the time before Evelyn Clawthorn but ever since the 'incident' with her husband's passing, the Clawthorn family has been in hiding for quite sometime," Dell said sadly, while pointing to the picture of Evelyn Clawthorn along, with a picture that was blur and hard to see but Luz could see the ears that made her gasp in shock.

"Is the man Evelyn was married to," Luz said slowly, with a shocked look on her face. "A human like me!"

"What?!" Amity, Eda, Lilith, and King shouted in unison.

Dell couldn't help but smile and said slowly, with a small nod "Yes, he is human. Actually, he is one of the humans that came to the boiling isles before you came here, Luz."

Luz was shocked to hear this, before she remembered something that made her eyes widen even more and whisper out slowly "The Wittebane brothers."

"Luz?" Amity asked slowly, turning to Luz with a worried look on her face. "Are you ok?"

"Huh?" Luz asked, turning to Amity with a shocked look on her face, before she shook her head and turned forward with a sigh. "I'm fine, Amity. It's just, back in the human realm and in my hometown of Connecticut, there's a story about the Wittebane brothers and admittedly I didn't listen to much of it in history class during halloween. But, from what the story says is that Celeb tried to take care of his younger brother Philip before they became witch hunters and they suggest that one of the brothers met a witch and followed her back to where she came from, along with Philip, who set off to save his brother but the two brothers never came back since."

"Sounds like Celeb met our great-how many old grandma and Philip got jealous," Eda said flatly, with a chuckle in amusement.

"Yeah," Luz said simply, with a shrug. "That's basically it."

"But if that's true, to an extent," Lilith said, looking at Eda and Luz with a worried look on her face. "Then that would mean that Belos is Philip and he killed his brother in a fit of anger due to being a witch hunter he was raised in or... jealousy with his brother finding a witch girlfriend. This certainly doesn't justify what he's been doing over the years but after what Luz said about witch hunters and the story of the Wittebane brothers, it just makes too much sense at this point and it honestly gives me goose bumps."

"But if this is true then," Eda said, turning to Lilith with a shocked look on her face. "That would mean that Belos is our how-ever-long uncle."

"Not just yours," Dell said slowly, with a worried look on his face, before he turned and pointed to a part of the family tree.

Eda, Lilith, Luz, Amity, and King looked to where Dell was pointing too before their eyes widened in shock.

"While not much is known about the child Evelyn and Celeb had, we at least know that the child had two children of their own and if we go down the list from there," Dell said, while his finger slowly moved down the clawthorn family tree before he stopped at a person that made Lilith, Eda, Luz, King, and most of all, Amity freeze in place with shocked looks on their face.

The person Dell pointed to was a picture of Alador Blight which made everyone freeze in place.

"A-Alador is a Clawthorn," Eda said slowly, with a shocked look on her face.

Dell couldn't help but chuckle, before he turned to Edalyn with a small smile and said "I wouldn't say that he's a Clawthorn, but he and his side of the family do have some similarities with us Clawthorns. Given our brown hair and golden eyes."

"B-But t-that's impossible," Lilith said, turning to her father with a shocked and stunned look on her face. "Alador never said anything about his ancestors being Cawthorns!"

"Does Alador even know about this?" Eda asked, turning to Lilith in shock and worry. "No offense to Alaldor, but he hasn't been the social type since Hexside and being married to Odalia afterwards."

"Then does Odalia know about this?" Lilith asked, in worry and confusion, before she began to think about it. "But then why? If she knew then why hasn't she or anyone said anything about this, unless..."

She gasped and turned to her father in shock.

"Unless Alador's family and the Clawthorns split apart due to Belos or Philip's rise to power and the only way to keep the family safe was to separate them."

"That's a good theory, Lily," Eda said with a nod, before frowning and crossing her arms. "And one we will have to go on, for now."

"W-What?"

Everyone slowly turned to Amity, who looked frozen like a statue with a shock and stunned look on her face.

"I-I'm a Clawthorn as well," Amity whispered, with a shocked and stunned look on her face.

Dell sighed and said honestly "It's difficult to say but I wouldn't say your a Clawthorn, but more like one of your descendants is a sibling before becoming a long time relative to your father's side of your family that has been long forgotten to be part of the Clawthorn family due separation due to Philip/Belos killing Celeb and Evelyn wanting to keep her kids safe from him over the years."

Amity gave a small nod, before she realized something and said in shock "Then, that would mean me, Ed, Em, and dad are half witch and half human, right?"

"Yes," Dell said, with a small nod and gave a smile. "It would seem so."

"Whoa," Amity whispered out with a shocked look on her face, before she slowly looked down and shook her head. "I-I need to sit down."

"Y-Yeah, Boots," Eda said slowly with a small nod, before she turned to her dad, mom, and Lilith with a worried look on her face. "I think it's time for us to head home and get a rest for the night. Especially after everything that is revealed tonight."

"I think that's a good idea, witchlet," Gwendalyn said with a smile, before she closed the book and gave it to Edalyn. "Take it with you on your way home, just in case you want to read more of this later."

"Oh, we don't need to take that with us," Eda said proudly, with a smirk in amusement. "Besides, we can just come back here tomorrow. Isn't that right Luz, Boots?"

Luz gave a smile and said with a nod "Yup. Especially since we found a teleporting glyph from Philip's diary entries thanks to the Echo..."

Her eyes slowly widened in realization, before she turned to Amity and gasped in shock.

"Ah, we forgot about the Echo mouse! He's still back at our grom tree!"

Amity face-palmed herself, before she shook her head and said "It's fine, Luz. We can just go and get the echo mouse on our way back to the owl house."

Luz didn't say anything and just gave a small nod.

The adults in the room all couldn't help but turn to each other with teasing grins at the scene in front of them.

"In any case," Dell said, looking at Eda with a smile. "It really is good to see you, witchlet."

"Yeah," Eda said softly, looking at her dad with a smile. "It's good to see you two, dad."

She began to remember something before she grabbed a pencil, pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote down the teleporting glyph.

Once she was done, she handed it out to her father with a smile.

"Here, take it," Eda said, with a smile.

"Hm," Dell said, taking the paper and looking at it in confusion. "What is this?"

"It's for the teleportation glyph," Eda said, with a cheeky smile. "That way, you guys can come and visit whenever you guys want. But, you can only draw it on the ground though."

Dell couldn't help but give a beaming smile and said "Thank you, witchlet."

Eda smiled and gave a nod, before she turned and walked out of the house with Luz and Amity following her out of the house.

Walking out of the house, Luz and Amity began to draw the teleporting glyph with Eda stepping in the middle of it, while King was still on Amity's shoulder.

Once they were done, Luz and Amity walked up to Eda before they turned and pressed down on the glyph.

The teleporting glyph began to glow orange fire over Luz, Amity, Eda, and King as they were teleported back to the owl house.

Slowly opening their eyes, Luz, Amity, Eda, and King saw that they were back at owl house, with Eda giving a yawn.

"Well, I'm going to be asleep for the next seventy-two hours," Eda said with a yawn, while opening the door and entering the house, while ignoring Hooty asking her about Lilith.

"Yeah, I'm beat too," King said, jumping off Amity's shoulder and walking in the house with a yawn. "I feel like I could sleep for a whole day."

"You barely did anything today, buddy," Luz said, with a smile and gave a soft chuckle.

"Eh, it doesn't matter," King said simply, with a shrug. "Now, the couch or Eda's lap needs me!"

Luz and Amity watched King and Eda enter the house with smiles on their faces, before Luz turned to see Amity slowly look down with a worried look on her face, making her start to get worried.

"Amity," Luz said, walking up to Amity, with a worried look on her face. "Are you ok?"

"I," Amity started to say, before she gave a sigh. "I honestly don't know. I mean, one of my descendants is a Clawthorn on my dad's side and I never knew nor did my dad, Edric, or Emira. Dad probably didn't know because his parents and grandparents didn't know as well but still."

She shook her head and began to tear up a little.

"Did Odalia know about this? Was me and my family being descendants of Clawthorns the reason for everything Odalia did to me and my family in the past? If so, then I'll-"

"Hey, hey, hey," Luz said softly, side hugging Amity with a small smile. "Slow down there Amity, we don't know that Odalia knew about your dads part of the family and if she did then...  I would tear that woman apart for you."

That earned a soft chuckle from Amity, before she leaned her head on Luz's shoulder and whispered softly "I don't know what to do about this, Luz. I don't even know if I can ever go home without wanting to ask and demand answers from the woman who ruined my life and turned me into the bully I was when we first met."

Luz couldn't help but frown and said gently "Well, we don't actually know if Odalia knew that you, Emira, Edric, and your dad are descendants of the Clawthorns. Maybe she used her oracle magic to look into the future and not into the past."

"Maybe," Amity agreed with a small nod, before she gave a sigh and shook her head. "But that still doesn't justify what she's done with me and my siblings since the day we were born. Odalia ruined my life, Luz. Abused me, forced me to cut and end my friendship when we were little, gave me mental trauma for the last few years before you came into my life."

"And I'm not rooting for an Odalia redemption arc either," Luz agreed with a nod, before she turned to Amity and gave a pout. "Besides, I still want some pay back for her trying to kill me during the factor incident a few weeks ago."

"Isn't dating me enough of a payback to get back at my mother?" Amity asked, with a giggle in amusement.

"Nope," Luz said, with a shake of her head and gave a playful smirk. "Besides, I know you're dating me just to get back at your mom too, right?"

"Guilty as charged," Amity said softly, before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss on Luz's cheek. "But, it's also because I love you, you glyph with Azura loving dork."

Luz's face blushed red at the cheek kiss, before she shook her head and smiled at Amity.

"But I'm your dork," Luz said teasingly, leaning to Amity with a teasing grin. "Isn't that right, Batada?"

Amity's face flushed a tomato shade of red from that comment, before she looked away and rolled her eyes playfully.

"C-Can we talk about something else?" Amity asked, turning to Luz with a small smile. "Anything else, please."

Luz gave a small nod before she began to think of something to talk about, but came with nothing.

"Nope, sorry Amity," Luz said simply, with a shrug. "I got nothing."

Amity rolled her eyes playfully, before she looked down and thought of something.

"Actually," Amity said, turning to Luz with a small smile. "Belos is a human and uses a staff, right?"

"Right?" Luz asked, with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"So," Amity started to say, with a smug and playful grin on her face. "How about we make a staff that would let you make glyphs, like how Belos uses his staff to make magic?"

Luz's jaw literally dropped to the ground with a shock look on her face, that made Amity giggle at the sight.

"I'm taking your jaw drop to the floor as a 'Yes'," Amity said, with a soft giggle.

Luz gave an excited nod and shouted in excitement "Let's do it, Hermosa!"

"Ok, what is that?" Amity asked, with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"What was what?" Luz asked, with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"'Hermosa'," Amity said, with a raised eyebrow, sounding confused. "What does that mean?"

Luz's face gave a blush, before she looked away and whispered out softly "B-Beautiful. I-It means, you're beautiful."

Amity's face flushed a deep shade of crimson after hearing that, before she shook her head and said quickly "A-Anyways, t-the glyph staff-thing! D-Do you want to make it with me tonight?!"

Luz turned to Amity with a small smile and said with a nod "Yes, we can start that tonight."

Amity gave a nod, before she turned to Luz with a smile and said "First, we can draw up plans on what we want the staff to look like and what it can do, then we can begin building the staff tomorrow or some time in the future."

"Yeah, let's do it," Luz said, sounding excited, before she and Amity walked in the owl house with Luz closing the door behind them.

After using the teleporting glyph again to get the echo mouse from their grom tree, Luz and Amity entered Luz's room with Luz closing the door and Amity grabbing the supplies to think of how they wanted to make the staff.

"Ok Luz," Amity started to say, while grabbing Luz's glyph notebook and opening it to a blank page with a pencil in her left hand. "Tell me what you want in your glyph staff."

Luz turned to Amity with an excited smile, before she stopped and frowned a little.

"Actually," Luz started to say, before she gave a sigh and shrugged. "I don't know. There's so many ideas I want to try to put in the staff but first should be to find a way to use and power the glyphs in it. The Golden Guard and Belos could power their staff, so why can't I use mine with my glyphs."

Amity gave a nod in agreement, before she began to write in the notebook.

"Oh, I can fly with it like a staff!"

Amity stops what she was writing, before she looks up to Luz with a frown.

"But if your staff lets you fly then wouldn't getting a palisman be useless then," Amity said, with a raised eyebrow and gave a frown. "Besides, don't you have Owlbert as a palisman?"

"Tencically, Owlbert is Eda's palisman," Luz said simply with a shrug, before she deflated and nodded. "But yeah, that's a good point. Ah, dang it."

Amity couldn't help but giggle at Luz's reaction, before she shook her head and looked at Luz with a smile.

"Don't worry, Luz," Amity said, with a smile. "We don't have to rush something like this, since we have a few months until the day of unity and time to find a way to stop Belos, or Philip, or whatever his real name is."

Luz couldn't help but give a soft chuckle, before she gave Amity a small smile.

"Yeah, you're right Amity," Luz said, with a small smile. "We don't have to continue this if you don't want to, Amity."

"It's not that I don't want to do this," Amity said with a sigh, before she shook her head and gave a yawn. "Although, I am getting a little tired from all the secrets that've been revealed tonight."

Amity and Luz began to giggle together, before Amity gave Luz a tired smile and said "But seriously, Luz. I think you're too excited and need to sort out the ideas for the glyph staff you want."

She gave the notebook to Luz with a small smile.

"Just think about this a little bit more until you're ready to think and then, we can make your new glyph staff when you're ready, ok?"

Luz didn't say anything and just gave a tired sigh.

"You're right, Amity," Luz said softly, with a tired sigh. "I'll wait until I'm ready to think of what I want my glyph staff to be before we get started making it."

Amity gave a smile and said softly "Thank you, Luz. Now, let's get ready to be."

"Wait, us?" Luz asked, with her eyes widened and her face slowly flush red. "Y-You mean, you're spending the night here, in the owl house, with me?"

Amity's face flushed a deep shade of crimson and stuttered "I-I mean, I didn't mean it like that! I-I just meant that..."

She gave a sigh and looked down with a sad and scared look on her face.

"Listen Luz, t-things are seriously crazy right now after what we learned tonight, and now that I learned that me, Emira, and Edric are half humans and... Clawthorns by descendants, I want to go home and demand answers from my mom and dad. I know that dad probably doesn't know much due to him working on his abomination inventions and mother is... you know..."

Luz gave a nod with a small frown, she shook her head and walked up to Amity with a small smile.

"Well, hey," Luz said, walking up to Amity with a small smile. "I'm here to help and I'll help you get the answers you need and, no matter what, I won't leave you, no matter what."

Amity gave a soft smile, before she leaned her head on Luz's shoulder and said softly "Thank you, Batada. That honestly really means a lot."

Luz gave a soft smile, before she leaned forward and kissed Amity's forehead.

"Your welcome, Amity. Besides," Luz said with a soft smile, before she turned to the window and looked out with a worried look on her face. "We've got all the time in the world."
