Ren threw another punch at a Villain known as psyburst, honestly he always thought that name was horrible it just made you overestimate was really just telekinesis.
the villain fell back and groaned in pain before grinning pebbles on the ground floating up and gong towards him at bullet speed, the dog hybrid yelped before throwing another super powers kick and pinning Psyburst down….only to dodge bullets again.
but eventually he finally got the powers represent cuffs on the villain who grinned at him “looks like you won this time Monarch, see you next week?”
Rens wolf ears were pinned down as he growled at Psyburst “both me and you know that you will be behind bars for a long time Psyburst”
Psyburst giggled “that’s what you think!” As he was taken away by the police.
Ren- or rather Monacrch sighed, he still had an hour until his territory was moved further in the city so he had to end his patrol early today.
”woah, that was amazing Monarch! Cheered Zedaph the hero commissions main support line. “You did good today, have a rest!
Ren laughed to himself as he went into one of the smaller bases around the city of the hero commission saying a polite hello to many of the passing workers, after all despite not everyone being a hero there are a lot of workers at Gigacorp.
As he changed out of his hero outfit he smiled he sighed in relief he doesn’t know why villains escape so often but he will find out, not to mention the lack of villains actually staying in prison has caused Vigilanties to start spawning.
infact the whole reason he has to move is because a new vigilante has been spotted showing up around the city, and it’s quite a dangerous job so they need to stop the guy before he hurts themself.
Rens ears perked up when he heard his phone ring, picking it up to hear False, he smiled when he saw the name and answered the phone.
”Hey False! how have you been?”
He could feel Falses Smile from the screen “where are you, I’ve been outside your house for ages?”
Ren sighed a bit more tiredly “you know my job, they’ve been working me to the bone!”
False sighed “you really need to giving so much first they make you take more hours and now their making you move?”
Ren groaned at his friends complaints “Flase!, I’m perfectly fine and I’ll be home in like thirty minutes….besides aren’t you excited to see my new apartment?”
it was a dump, the building on the outside looked great but they had to take a lot of broken furniture and tear down all of the old wallpaper,
Ren laughed at that “well, it is a bit of a fixer upper”
False looked at the wolf hybrid as if he was crazy “a fixer upper? Ren….”
”so they’ve finally decided to sell his apartment huh? It makes sense it has been a year”
both of them turned but REN’s face went red when he saw what was quite a handsome man, the man had blonde hair, blue eyes and wore a green jumper with a swirl symbol.
he smiled at their looks of shock “I’m Martyn, could hear you coming in and arguing and thought I’d introduce myself to my new neighbours”
False laughed at that “no, no I’m just helping Ren here move in, glad you introduced yourself, so you know why this apartments a mess?”
Martyn nodded “yeah, the guy who lived here was murdered”
”what?!” Ren shouted looking about to see if he could see any blood even sniffed the air.
Martyn sighed “yeah….he was a good guy aswell, they cleaned it up awhile back but the owner was close to the guy and didn’t want to sell, guess they’ve finally decided too.”
Ren nodded sighing in relief…well not relief he heard someone died here but relief he wasn’t invading a crime scene.
Flase looked confused “you treat that as if it’s normal?”
Martyn rolled his eyes “ just because gigacorp puts effort into making every building flawless looking doesn’t mean crime doesn’t happen, death is actually fairly common in this side of town”
Ren ears drooped saddened at that “that’s awful….”
False looked at the saddened Ren and then back at Martyn before speaking up “well I’ve heard someone’s putting effort to stop those statistics”
Martin smiled at that “yeah, probably doing it for their own intrests but atleast we have someone down here now…we’ll I have somewhere to be, but I guess I’ll see you around……?”
Ren smiled at the other “I’m Ren and this is False, I’m sure we’ll be good friends!”
Ren couldn’t help but watch the cute stranger walk off a blush spread across his face only going away when Flase started at him with a teasing grin.
