Chapter Text
Barbatos flew in with both Furina and Buer in his arms an hour after Morax finished setting the table. “The rest are coming, I just grabbed these two so that they would have an easier time getting up here.” Barbatos explained as he set the two Archons down in their respective chairs. Morax made a hum of an acknowledgement as Barbatos looked around the table. “Beelzebub should have been right behind me.” Barbatos sounded confused as he looked around in the sky. “Ah. She took a detour. I don’t know where to, but she was looking intensely at the grey clouds before she stopped following us.” Buer explained to Barbatos who gave a nod. “Ah yes. Wonderful Beelzebub, being attentive to her element as usual.” Barbatos let out a short chuckle. “Just like someone else who should know the wind patterns and currents, yes?” Morax took a sip of his tea while he ignored the indignified whine of his name that came from the wind god’s lips. “Do you perhaps know where the Hydro Sovereign is Lady Furina?” He asked her with a tilt to his head. Furina, not expecting to be called on, stumbled over her words as she began to speak. “I- I do not know where Monsieur Neuvillette is.” Furina only held eye contact for a second longer before she turned her head down to cut the slice of cake she had grabbed. “That is alright Lady Furina. I will scan the world for him.” Morax then closed his eyes to concentrate on the Hydro Sovereign's elemental signal. When he sensed him near a water source (one of the more pure ones of this world) Morax let out a hum as he opened his glowing cor lapis eyes. “Neuvillette went to find a pure water source. Based on how long it takes myself to be pure, it will be quite a while before he joins us.” Morax informed the group.
“That reminds me, Barbatos, have you found out anything about this world's wind yet?” Said god in question put down the wine bottle he was currently drinking out of before he opened his mouth. “Ah well…” Barbatos turned his head away sheepishly, grabbing the wine bottle once again. “Barbatos!” Morax growled, his draconian horns appearing on his head. “Ehe, Buer help me!” Barbatos exclaimed as he flew to hide behind Buer’s throne, making her laugh. “Bueeer! Fine then, Furina help me!” The immortal in question looked surprised that Barbatos addressed her. When he made eye contact with her, Barbatos winked at her, making Furina start to giggle at how normal they all seemed to act. “Oh, what’s so funny?” Ei asked as she appeared in her seat at the table, grabbing what looked like this world's version of dango milk and a slice of cake. “I’m being ganged up on! Ei you got to help me!” Venti whined from his seat. Nahida was too engrossed in one of the many books Zhongli brought her and did not know when Venti flew back to his chair. Ei, noticing that Furina and Nahida were engrossed with their own interest, blinked once at Venti before remembering the god was a mischievous one, and would give her the answer but in rhymes. She then turned to Zhongli knowing he would give her a straight answer. “He doesn’t know the weather pattern.” Zhongli addressed her unasked question while refilling his tea and grabbing another wine for Venti. “Ah, that explains the wind currents and tornadoes these mortals keep talking about.” She let a small smirk appear on her face as she took a sip of her dango milk. “Ei how could you!” Venti whined again as Zhongli and Ei laughed at the bard's antics, making Furina and Nahida focus in on the trio.
Once the laughter died down, conversations naturally started to form. Furina had become more comfortable with the Archons being around her after seeing that childish display a couple minutes ago. In fact, she even started a conversation with Barbatos about theater and what it means to perform. Furina did not notice but the other Archons smiled, as the further the conversation got, the more the tension slid out of her body.
Seeing Furina and Venti talking, Nahida decided to gather knowledge on this world and connected her mind to Irminsul that had somehow appeared in the world. She would still read the books Zhongli got her, but she wanted to see what was stored away in this world's Irminsul. Meanwhile, Zhongli and Ei began to talk about the world’s geography and how the weather patterns are so irregular yet on time.
It was at this time that Barbatos and Morax took out the jars that held the Pyro and Cryo Archons powers. The two open the jars and watch the spirits of the Archons fly out and land in their respective chairs. Mavuika waves off the staring Archons and the immortal as she and the Tsaritsa join Buer in meditation. The four come to their senses and resume their conversations, but glance at the spirits every now and then.

It was close to two hours before Neuvillette showed up. “Apologies for being late. I had trouble finding a pure water source.” Neuvillette spoke as he took the last open chair. “It’s fine Monsieur Neuvillette. There was never a set time anyway.” Furina smiled at the Hydro Sovereign, who returned it with his own soft smile before hardening his face. “There is something I noticed with these humans besides their unique powers and advanced technology. Their water and air are polluted far beyond what I have seen in Fontaine.” Neuvillette told the group as he felt it was important for the rest to know.
“I will see what the wind knows.” Barbatos then let out a whistle asking the wind what information they have. The wind then immediately gathered around him and told him all about how humans rely on scientific rocks to power their machinery and how much is used in their daily life. ‘It’s a recent development.’ A gust of wind happily chirped. ‘The pollution is from the Old Age.’ A different breeze wind told him solemnly. ‘They use better stuff for the environment now. You and purple can fix the air.’ The wind told him happily. ‘The Sovereign one can cleanse it from the waters.’ The winds told him as they swirled around his braids. “Ah I see. Thank you my beloved wind and winds" Both teal and white light circled around him as if giving him a hug before dispersing into the world once more. “Me, Beelzebub, and you can fix it.” Barbatos told Neuvillette with seriousness. Neuvillette smiled faintly. “I’m glad to hear that it can be fixed.” Sensing that no more would be spoken on the current subject, Buer brought up another concerning topic. “What should we do about the people though? They are so torn and many religions exist in this world. They would not believe us without adequate proof. Not to mention our Archon names are seen as a bad omen1 here.” Buer spoke, informing the table of the memories that Irminsul had shown her. I would like to check your dragon names too, but I know that is something you are not willing to share. Buer thought to herself, eyes narrowed as she glanced at the two dragons.
“I suggest we show them that we mean no harm.” Beelzebub said, earning an approving nod from the rest at the table. “Would giving blessings to these mortals work?” Furina asked tentatively. “I believe it will. This planet's fundamentals are similar to ours, so I believe it should work.” Morax spoke, giving a gentle smile to Furina. “How about we each bless a place in this world? If we ever get sent back here we can set up there and make it easier for us to blend in with the inhabitants of this world.” Barbatos suggested with a spark of a knowing glint in his eyes. He hid it so well that only Morax picked up on it.
“I know where I’m going!” Mavuika suddenly exclaimed as her spirit wavered. “Have you forgotten that we cannot hold these forms for long?” The Tsaritsa scowled as her spirit wavered as well. “Yeah well-“, Mavuika was cut off as Barbatos and Morax put their spirits back in the jars. Barbatos sighed as he mumbled, “The one time they decide to talk even after that conversation.” The wind god was snapped out of his trance by a low growl. “Behave or I shall make the jars smaller.” Morax threatened the spirits.
Ei quickly cleared her throat before the god could follow through on his threat. “Ah yes.” Morax continued on as if the spirits did not interrupt. “Now then, once you have found your place, leave a sigil behind and mark it as yours. This way we will not overlap, and in case of separation, we can still find each other.” Morax explained but it would also help to appease the draconian sides of him and Neuvillette. It is like the mortals say. Killing two birds with one stone. Morax thought to himself.
Buer giggled before saying, “Then it’s decided!” Neuvillette then chimed in with, “Let us meet back here once we have finished.” There were hums and heads shaking confirming the others felt the same.
The Archons, dragons, and the immortal teleported out of their meeting in the clouds. They each set off to spread their gifts across the planet making sure to leave a sigil behind so that others may sense it. The sigils would be placed in the locations of their choosing and would cover as much land as the beholder designated. Once Barbatos and Morax finished marking their locations, the two took out the spirits of the Cryo and Pyro Archons so that they could direct the elder Archons to the general location they wanted.

To help the people of this world, each god, dragon and the immortal left something to help those with their element thrive. (It would not be seen until much later but seven types of quirks were considered to be better and stronger than most). In certain places or parts of the world one of the seven elements would be the strongest. The outlanders could leave anything they wanted as long as it benefited the people there.
The winds strength can be found in Germany, for the winds were the most gentle there. Even if it was a different world, Barbatos would always keep an eye on the country he claimed as his children. He might have also left his favorite alcoholic recipes in hopes that the mortals here would have improved on them the next visit here.
The stone is the strongest in China, for their commerce is one of the best. Morax would teach them about trade and contracts to ensure that the nation lived through the mess of this world. He would look forward to their growth the next visit here.
The electricity in Japan was the most abundant, yet at times it could be seen to have a purple glow. Beelzebub did not know how to help the people, but she realized they needed electricity, so she gave them an abundant supply of it. She did not know if she would ever be back, hence she left quite a lot.
The nature in Egypt, India, and all across the Middle East had started to find itself growing stronger. Which is also how it was discovered that in one of the Egyptian temples, there was a depiction of a tree and a warning above the entrance. Decipher the code right and who knows? You may find yourself face to face with the heart of all knowledge and memories of this world. Buer would make sure the people knew how to co-exist with nature, and leave them with knowledge that would help the mortals grow, as she did not know if she would be back.
France is now known as the hotspot for love, desserts, and clear water. Furina did not know if she would be back, so she leaves the mortals with every dessert receipt she knows in hopes that their future would be brighter than hers. Neuvillette knows he will be back but nothing else. He blesses the water so that the humans will be able to breathe underwater like they can back in Fontaine. The two also decide to bless the waters of France by making them the cleanest and clearest in the world. The blessing, along with being able to breathe underwater, turns France into more of a tourist spot than it was before.
The fires in South America burned with a new fiery passion to protect what they love at all cost. Multiple Quirk arenas were set up so that their need to constantly fight was met. Mavuika did not know when she would be back, so she made sure to teach them all she knew about war.
Russia had gained knowledge beyond their time along with snow that could be turned into food if synthesized correctly. The edible snow was seen predominantly in Russia but sometimes could be found in the other parts of the world as well. The Tsaritsa knew some would be back but she did not know if she was included. She leaves them the knowledge to govern with fear and love along with how to survive in the snow with their supernatural gifts.

After seeing how the mortals interact in December specifically, the Archons agreed that during the week of the mortal holiday Christmas (or if something similar was happening in another culture) it would snow for that week only. Even in the hottest of climates, if people lived there so would snow. Of course they also made it so that the hotter climates would revert back to how they were before. (Buer, Barbatos, and Furina were only going to agree to the contract if the ecosystems could revert back to their natural ecosystem.) Buer’s magic was embedded into the snowfall on the evening of the last day, so that climates would have an easier time reverting to how they usually were. The ones with heavy snowfall would not get much and the ones not used to snow would get no more than 8/10/12 inches depending on the region. The mortals of this world seemed to have a fascination with snow that the Archons simply could not fathom. Even the Tsaritsa was baffled by their fascination as Snezhnayan citizens never acted like this. Yes they enjoyed the snow, especially the younger ones, but it was nothing compared to these mortals. In any case, they hoped their snow gift was going to be well appreciated by the future mortal generations as well.

Somewhere in Japan Venti saw a rat. A rat that was so cute the wind god simply couldn’t help himself and blessed it with immortality. Because of that blessing, the rat knows more about the world than most people. The rodent, after living for almost three centuries, picks the name Nezu and starts a school. The wind helps him pick a location and a name.

It had been centuries since that fateful two weeks. The world had figured itself out with a nudge from Barbatos or Morax(or a rat) here and there. The two eldest of the gods were able to make portals from their world to the world of Quirks for reasons unknown(currently by you and the Author, who is still world building this thingy).
By making portals, they learned that the world of Quirks moves much faster than their own. So when the world suddenly called out to them again, Morax and Barbatos got to look at the befuddled faces of their fellow friends, as they realized how much the world had progressed since they were first here. (Barbatos also felt the rat he had blessed was alive and well). Only, it did not last long. Morax and Neuvillette felt the shift first followed by Barbatos then the rest of the Archons.
The world had trapped them for [Information Unknown] years.
