✧ Hello, Diary ✧
Diary, something very happy happened today.
Lord Telamon summoned me to his room at night. He said there were matters to attend to and they might take some time.
So he assigned me a new task: to take care of and train 1X while he's away. I was so happy I wanted to shout out loud, if he weren't standing right in front of me.
But I'm not confident about the training, 1X. I've never been good at fighting. He probably thought that, so he trained me until morning.
I'm not sure if it was training or a release of anger. It hurt so much; my old wounds haven't healed properly yet.
And he said he would give me a face so that I wouldn't look suspicious. I was happy to have my own face, even though Lord Telamon himself would choose it for me.
What will I look like? I want to have eyes the color of a beautiful ruby red, and long hair. I want to try braiding my hair like I've seen other people do.
Training with 1X is as difficult as training with Lord Telamon, perhaps because 1X is so skilled that he's similar to Lord Telamon, but it just doesn't hurt.
I dropped my sword several times and even tripped over my own cloak. It was a little embarrassing, but 1X secretly laughed. I'm glad this training wasn't too stressful.
The training didn't go well, but I was happy to train with 1X, even though I was tired because I barely slept last night and often dozed off during breaks. But 1X just watched and didn't wake me up.
When I woke up, we sat and read books together. I knew we should continue practicing, but 1X didn't really want to. I guess I was too weak.
After reading for a while, it was time to go out and work, but 1X said he wanted to come with me.
There was no rule against bringing him along, so I took 1X with me. If I finish work early, I'll take him to a place I like.
I took 1X with me, and after work, we went for a walk in the shopping area.
There was a clothing store, and 1X told me to buy some clothes because my outfit looked too strange and easily attracted attention.
I only bought the hoodie, they said. I'm not ready for other people to see my face; it's embarrassing for people to stare at me like 1X is doing—even now he still hasn't stopped staring.
Then we tried buying some ice cream. It was delicious, cold, and sweet. They said the flavors were vanilla and chocolate. I liked the chocolate!!
And I took 1X to a hill with a flower garden. They were poppies in many different colors. I secretly picked some for you, Diary.
We lay on the grass and talked. I was so happy, but sadly I had to go back. Lord Telamon wouldn't be happy if I broke the rules.
And when I got back up, we all went our separate ways to our rooms. I wanted to go to bed early tonight.
