Joshua's Pov:
I turn around looking at Taylor. He's looking down at the ground. I turn back to my friends.
"This is Taylor."
Issac looks behind me at Taylor.
"Is Taylor the new kid?"
"Yes" I turn to look at Taylor, "This is my friend Isaac and his brother Marco."
Taylor's pov:
I can't believe that Joshua is introducing me to two of his friends. What's going to happen? Will I be able to get along with them? What if they don't like me? Would they tolerate me because of Joshua? What if-
I hear the bell ring that snaps me out of my thoughts. I look at the clock. 8:30am. Weird how me, Joshua, and his two friends are the only ones here.
"Where are the other kids?"
Joshua turns around to look at me. Issac and Marco look around as well.
"That is a great question."
By the time it reaches 8:45 am we start to question. Weird, class was supposed to start 15 minutes ago. We start to hear footsteps. Our teacher Devon walks over to us.
"What are you kids doing here? Did you not get the email?"
"What email?"
"The one about school getting canceled?"
Marco looks confused, "Wait, school was canceled today?"
"Yes, they decided to cancel last minute, anyways you kids are free to leave."
As our teacher is walking away, we think of a place where we can go to spend the rest of the day.
"I have an idea!"
We all turn to Marco.
"What if we went to the café down the street?"
"That is a great idea Marco! We can stay there until we get picked up by our parents." Joshua responds
