Giyuu had, of course, called shinobu for support because shes his best friend
He was sobbing when sanemi called, so he got his shit together as best as he could while shinobu answered, putting him on speaker
After that conversation, giyuu frowned
“He broke your heart giyuu! He wouldnt care if you had a boyfriend or not-!”
“Shinobu stop! That was unnecessary! There was literally zero reason or point in lying about that! It was unnecessary!”
Shinobu sighed
“Giyuu-.. No, youre right, im sorry, i shouldnt have done that”
Giyuu softened
“Its fine, dont do it again, thank you for apologizing”
Shinobu offered a thumbs up, before jumping on him to force him into a hug

Sanemi hadnt really noticed he was crying
Over a boy.
He couldnt help it, he loves giyuu, whole heartedly, it physically hurt him to hear he had a boyfriend, he didnt know what to do

When genya walked into his and sanemis apartment he was NOT expecting to here sanemi of all people crying
As sanemi was not one to cry, the last time genya remembers sanemi crying was after a huge fight between their parents, when their dad had beat their mother into unconsciousness
So of course genya sprinted to sanemis room, bursting in
“Nemi? Whats wrong?! What happened?! Did someone die?!”
What genya saw genuinely broke his heart
His big fearsome older brother, who protected him, their siblings, and there mom, along with having the balls to physically fight their dad back
Curled up on his bed, holding a pillow, runny nosed, tear stained face, practically sobbing
Genya might start crying

“Nemi..”
“Go away Genya! It's nothing! I'm fine!”
He shouted, sitting up to desperately wipe his face off, to no avail
Genya shuffled over there and sat down next to him, opening his arms
Sanemis eyes welled up with tears, as he proceeded to cry into his younger brothers arms for a whole ass hour straight

After sanemi finally calmed down, genya asked softly, wearily
“What happened..?”
“H-he has a boyfriend!”
He practically fucking wailed
“Who? Giyuu?”
Sanemi nodded, sniffling and finally pulling away
Ew, his shirt was soaked
“oh nemi.. It'll be okay”
“It wont! The man of my dreams doesn't love me!”
“Thats probably not true”
Sanemi cried some more

Shinobu ended up calling tanjiro, who gasped and yelled into his phone, spouting a buncha stuff before hanging up
About not even three minutes later tanjiro burst in, along with tsutako, some short black haired kid with his tips dyed a pretty cyan color, and two grocery bags of shit
Giyuu was, still in fact, crying over sanemi
Tsutako rushed in and hugged her baby brother
“What happened?! Why are you crying?! Who hurt you. I will personally dismember them-”
Tanjiro spoke up
“Tsu calm down..”
Giyuu sniffed
“Tanjiro who the fuck is that”
(Btw he says this in a pathetically sad weak tone not in a ‘grr angry’ tone)
“Hi im Muichiro i was unwillingly dragged here”
“...”
Giyuu started fucking sobbing again
(To giyuus information Muichiro is dating genya whos sanemis little brother which made him think of sanemi)
“Am i just that ugly or something”
Giyuu let out a pathetic snort mixed with his sobs
Oh fuck yes, Muichiro immediately figured out this guy deals with sad stuff through jokes and Muichiros good at being funny
(Heavily self projects for a moment)
“Is that a yes, you think im ugly?!”
He said in a fake offended tone
Giyuu chuckled a bit more, his tears slowing significantly
“Ugh, god, the Ausacit of some people”
(I fucked up the word audacity thats how Muichiro said it now)
Giyuu burst into laughter
Shinobu tsutako and tanjiro were beyond flabbergasted
“Fuck i just fumbled that so badly..”
After a hot second, giyuu calmed, sighing that type of sigh you sigh after laughing to hard
“There all better”
Muichiro said proudly
Tsutako spoke softly
“Now, tell us what happened”

Shinobu ended up going on a rant about everything with sanemi for giyuu, who managed to not cry because Muichiro, thank god
“HE WHAT”
Oo tsutako not happy
“I swear to christ i will dismantle him for you”
“Thats not necessary..”

Genya randomly got a text from his boyfriend, he grabbed his phone, unlocking it, while sanemi finally ACTUALLY calmed down
Muichiro- “i made a new friend”
Genya- “mui ily but im busy, also im proud”
Muichiro- “his names giyuu”
Genya- “WHAT.”
Muichiro- “Yeah hes upset”
Genya- “What? Why??”
Muichiro- “Idk i wasnt paying attention, smth abt sanemi”
Genya- “.. Weird”
Muichiro- “Why weird?”
Genya- “Because nemi’s upset over giyuu”
Muichiro- “Really? Why..”
Genya- “Because apparently giyuu has a boyfriend and sanemi was like,madly in love with him”
Muichiro- “Wow thats funny thats why giyuu was upset”
Genya- “Huh.?”
Muichiro- “Because apparently sanemi has a bf and he was madly inlove with sanemi”
Genya- “Nemis single”
Muichiro- “Okay so their both stupid?”
Genya- “Absolutely”
Muichiro- “Huh, okay”
Genya- “Wait what are you doing at giyuus?”
Muichiro- “I was with tanjiro and giyuus friend ketchup or something called tanjiro about his distress so tanjiro dragged me and taco here”
Genya- “..Babe what”
Muichiro- “What”
Genya- “Ketchup and taco?”
Muichiro- “Yup”
Genya- “You're so shit at names..”
Muichiro- “I know,close enough”
Genya- “Probably not but okay”
Sanemi was staring daggers at genya
“What”
“You're ignoring me, i just sobbed in your arms for god knows how long and now you're sitting there giggling.”
“Yeah Muichiro texted”
“Not that fucker, why?”
“hes with giyuu whos having a midlife crisis”
“Why is giyuu having a midlife crisis?”
“Because appearently you have a boyfriend and you broke his heart “
“What? No, hes the one with a boyfriend who broke my heart”
“No, actually you're both just stupid as shit”
“Dont you swear at me.”
“It's true, giyuus single, whoever the fuck ketchup is appearently lied”
Sanemis never started laughing so hard in his entire life
“Yeah, i know, Mui is shit at names”
“K-koch- AHAHAHHAHAHA”
“who the fuck has the name coach?”
Sanemi laughed harder, wheezing now

Muichiro ended up just calling genya while shinobu and giyuu yapped about some guy named sob story
(sabito, ps ketchup is kocho and taco is tsutako)

Genya of course picked up while sanemi wheezed on the floor
“Hai”
“What the fuck is that noise”
Genya could here from the background
“What the fuck is that”
“Thats.. Thats sanemi”
“What did you do to make him sound like that..”
“Babe that was all you”
“I haven't talked to him”
“Yeah but apparently someone going by the name ketchup is just so fucking funny to him”
He heard someone start dying of laughter from Muichiros background
“okay, babe, you have to absolutely tell me who the fuck ketchup and taco are because im just fucking confused”
Whoever the fuck was dying of laughter sounded like they were quite literally dying now

It was giyuu, giyuu was genuinely laughing so fucking hard he couldnt even breathe
From what only he could assume shinobu was ketchup and tsutako is taco
Shinobu was not as amused
“Did i not sanemi my name was shinobu fucking KOCHO?”
Muichiro paused
“I meant kocho”
“THANK YOU”
Genya replied
“And who the fuck is taco?”
Tsutako spoke
“If im correct thats me, tsutako, so close yet so far”
“Ah, okay okay, nice to meet you two i suppose”

After sanemi and giyuu calmed down it got awkward as FUCKKK
“Let me talk to him! Give me your phone”
Sanemi randomly yelled at genya
“No thats an issue you need to solve in person”
“I'm coming over giyuu!”
“What?”
Giyu responded from through the phone, Sanemi didn't get the respond, he was already running off
