Chapter Text
"I hate you so much."
"Calm down it's not that serious," Namjoon answers back with a fond smile.
"Of course it's serious. You just spilled coffee all over my pancakes."
"Here you can have mine. I haven't started eating them yet anyways," Namjoon says switching their plates.
"Now you have coffee pancakes," Jin says back.
"I don't mind. Your pancakes are the best, your coffee is the best, and I'm sure this is some trend somewhere," Namjoon replies with a smile.
"Are you sure? I could make you some more," Jin offers starting to get up.
"Sit down. I will be fine. I made a mess and you don't need to fix it," Namjoon says pushing Jin down by his broad shoulders.
"Okay," Jin says back looking unconvinced only for a minute before seeing Namjoon try his pancake.
"This is actually really good," the younger of the two says.
"Really?" Jin asks raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, try," Namjoon says shoving pancake near Jin's face. Jin takes the pancake and makes a surprised noise when he finds that Namjoon was right. It was good, it was one of those things that do not sound like they should go together well but somehow do.
So in the end Jin ends up pouring coffee onto his pancakes and the two enjoy a quiet, except for their hums of content with their food, meal. After their very late lunch they make sure to clean up after themselves, because Namjoon liked his title as a good room mate with Yoongi, and after that start marathoning a crime drama on the television.
"Hey Joonie. Where do you imprison a skeleton?" Upon just getting a blank stare he answers it himself, "in a ribcage!" Namjoon gives in a tiny smile once Jin's windshield wiper laugh echoes in the small living area.
"Okay, okay," Jin says calming himself down a bit. "I never liked befriending assassins. They're all backstabbers!"
"Where do you come up with these?" Namjoon asks fondly shaking his head at the boy.
"Okay, okay one more. They won't know who robbed the Scotch factory until they check the tape!" Jin says once again cracking up at his own lame dad joke.
"You are terrible," Namjoon says squeezing the boy's shoulder that he had his arm wrapped around.
"No, I'm the best thing to ever happen to you," Jin jokes with a chuckle looking over at Namjoon when there was more than a second of silence.
"Yeah... you are," Namjoon says leaning over and pecking the corner of Jin's mouth. He goes to move back to the way he was sitting before when Jin pulled him back down, a little too rough if you ask him. He had just gotten this shirt after all.
Kissing lead to more passionate things considering Namjoon was now on top of Jin and they were having a full on make out session, until they got so rudely interupted by- oh well maybe it wasn't so rude since he lived here. "Yoongi," Namjoon says sitting up and looking like a deer caught in the headlights. "You're home early."
"It's six o'clock. I'm always home at six o'clock," Yoongi says back in that monotone voice he always uses. The only detail of him being surprised to find them making out on the couch was his side glances towards Jin every few seconds.
"Well, um, we're together," Namjoon says awkwardly motioning between himself and Jin before running a hand through his hair.
"Yeah, I know," Yoongi says kicking off his shows.
"Wait what?"
"Were you guys really keeping it a secret? You two are so obvious," Yoongi says simply before walking the direction of the bedrooms before pausing to look at them. "Please don't do that on the couch either. I sit there too you know."
"We weren't...," Namjoon says quickly, trailing off because of the embarrassment.
"I don't care nor do I want to know," Yoongi says throwing a hand up and continuing his journey to his bedroom.
"Well... that was something," Namjoon says turning back towards Jin.
"Are we really that obvious?" Jin asks.
"I guess so. Anyways you want to get back to what we were doing?" Namjoon smirks.
"Not on the couch!" they hear Yoongi yell, but they were never ones to take orders.
