Chapter Text
The rain drizzles lightly as Collin explores the vast cloudy fields. Regretting his decisions upon encountering his clone again. “not you again..” Collin sighs, annoyed, at his predicament.
The entity only stares at him, lingering eyes unshaken. “Wh at iz wr ong?..” it asks. Collin turns his head to the side, inspecting the clone. He glares, eyebrows furrowing, “I don’t want to deal with this shit right now.”
Collin mumbles looking away from it. “I s my prezence botering yo u?” it questions, stepping cautiously near Collin. “fuck off” Collin added, in slight annoyance. Collin continues his doing, the clone watches.
Surprisingly, it backtracks and leaves him. What the fuck? Collin couldn’t bother anyway, he’s just thankful it left him alone.
Collin heads to go mine once again, only for a short trip however. He would rather not experience another encounter like that.
Even though it would be deemed “harmless” than before. As Collin traverses down his mind is interrupted with the thought of Zackerie.. What’s with him? He’s been acting interesting in his own special way. He recalls the time he bandaged Zac, noticing drifting eyes directing at him.
Collin shrugged it off before, but now he couldn’t help but dabble on the moment. He was honestly speculating but drew to a conclusion.
Does Zac like him? He wasn’t sure after all it wasn’t said so bluntly by him.
Ah, pointing out the obvious. Blush delicately spread across his face, Collin likes that dumb creeper back of course.. But he couldn’t be so sure that Zac actually felt the same way. Collin isn’t very obvious with his feelings at times.
Collin tries not to worry much during Zac’s absence.. However, it lingers from time to time, notably right now. He sometimes buries his thoughts, especially about his friend. He’s usually reposed (tired mostly) and doesn't give two shits about most stuff. Although, admittedly it’s different with Zac..
He mines, swinging the pickaxe up and down, but still reminiscent over the thought. Every block broken in this moment is a reminder of it.
Collin gently shakes his head, he should focus for now. There will be a time where he can immerse himself in his thoughts later.
=======
Zac had just woken up and a sound of shuffling of a chest was heard. He wipes his eyes later squinting across the room. He gets up, climbing the ladder.
Zac softly opens the trapdoor and looks around.
The figure was tall, yellow… “Collin?..” Zac yawns.. The entity is alerted, surprised thinking no one was home. Zac inspects the yellow physique standing before him. Internally, he slowly realizes that is not Collin.
To be fair, he’d just woken up. At first glance, he was sure but upon second one now he’s nervous. Zac can’t even defend himself properly, his dominant hand is injured afterall..
The entity stares, “i t is me colin.” voice sounding slightly similar to the original but still off in a way..
Zac just stood there shakily standing. *Was this what Collin meant by seeing a clone of him..?* Augh, he should’ve beat around the bush for more questions of the entity. The entity looks at Zac with interest.
“w ho ru?” it curiously asks, walking closer. Zac jumps and backs away in fear, what the hell should he do? The entity steps back away upon the reaction. However, Zac is trying to reassure and assert dominance handling this situation.
“I'm your friend!!” Zac awkwardly responds. Tried to make it seem he was very upfront but clearly he was afraid, the clone knew. The entity observes Zac for a bit, “wh at iz a frind?” it questions eyes darting around Zac’s face.
Zac stutters a bit “I-” he lets out however the interjects, “ru a mo b?”. Zac supposed that the entity has seen creepers around and possibly be the reason it asks. “Not really..? It’s complicated” Zac says while wrapping his arms crossing one another.
The entity was honestly in awe, its eyes somewhat had life in them at least that is how Zac interprets it. The clone couldn’t grasp the idea of other players other than its purpose to mimic the creator of the world.
Zac sighs and sits on the chest, now looking around the room. Making occasional glances at the entity who just eerily stood there. He might as well play along until the actual Collin gets back, he thought.
In trance, he thinks about Collin once more, maybe Collin knows how to deal with it.. But this entity seems quite passive, Zac wouldn’t want to test it out if it’ll get aggressive anyway. His gut says it's better off to play around with its antics than to be straightforward.
He isn’t very direct when it comes to extensive matters with a hidden risk. Too cautious for his own good after his world got corrupted.. The entity then eyed Zac, it didn’t seem threatening anymore. Well it can still do harm but nevertheless it idled.
Some time passed, and the entity left. Zac was unaware it wandered off. He kept his distance to be safe of course, but still he expects it to roam around longer..
Zac walks towards a chest, using his free hand to grab some spare leftover beef. Hungrily, eating it raw rather than cooking it. The sideffects of it seem ineffective, Collin would remark he should still cook it nonetheless..
Lonely as ever, Zac plays around with some materials in the chest? Crafting of sorts, he has no idea in actuality what to craft. A gift for Collin? Maybe.. Zac is lost in thought. A little too much..

An hour passed, and Collin had arrived at his home. Zac flinches upon hearing the door open. Collin walks through, eyeing the room and later looking at Zac.“What's up with you?” he asks concerningly in monotone.
“Ah, just you know..”Zac gazes slightly away in response. Collin walks to his chest disposing of his materials. “Hey, if you need to talk about it I’m willing to listen.” Collin states.
Zac’s face flush, enamored by that statement. “Wel-..” He coughs trying to focus. Collin tilts his head a bit to look at Zac who he observes being quite agitated. Zac only looked down at the floor..
Zac would explain what happened in the hours he was away, but he didn’t want to worry Collin. Even though Collin is familiar with the whole ordeal of entities. “Just a long day..” He shifts, “I guess I missed you” Zac mumbled softly, lowering his voice near the end of the sentence.
Collin perks up, he fumbles his hands, nearly dropping some stuff from the chest. The room was lapsed with tension, dying to break the ice. While Collin did hear that, he needed to finally do something..
He didn’t need to, but he felt the urge to.. Internally, spending personal time to fight with himself, if you call it. Collin stands up and walks towards Zac. Zac looks up, staring dumbfoundedly yet nervous.
Collin points and gently grabs Zac’s injured arm, later tracing his eyes to Zac’s face. “Does it still hurt?” Collin asked, softly grazing his hand around the wraps of bandages near Zac’s own hand. Collin remained calm and composed, yet dying on the inside.
His heart thumps loudly, but he is dead at ease.
Zac looks around, avoiding Collin’s face intentionally. However, his eyes fixate on him while Collin stares back. Collin’s hand gently circled the injured hand. Zac shyly shifts subtly, his mind wasn’t thinking.
The man before him looked so sweet, caring, and made him feel special that his attention was on him.
Collin’s face crept slightly crimson, watching lingering eyes look at him. He didn’t want to let the moment pass. For once, not from an entity, he’s scared. He freezes as Zac raises his other hand onto Collin’s face, fur brushing delicately against him.
He mutters something yet it is incoherent.. “hm?..” Collin questions, slightly teasing tone. “I–” Zac flusters. Collin softly laughs at him, instigating more. “Can I kiss you?” Zac nervously asks, looking at the ground in a feverish way.
“yea sure idiot..” Collin responds playfully. Zac pulls him closer, Collin leans into it. Collin feels more at ease, in a way. All the tension boiled up to a bottle of warmth and fluff.
Greatly contrasting the cold pour of rain. In trance, he silently enjoys the way Zac squirms within the kiss.
Zac relaxes into it more, still nervously heating up. His tail swings ecstatically, yet later coiling around Collin’s leg. His thoughts are slurring on its own and he is practically letting Collin take the lead. Zac faintly purrs against the kiss. Both part away briefly, admiring one another.
“Are we dating now…?” Zac shyly mutters underneath. “you fucking kissed me, what do you think?” Collin impishly taunts, laughing in between. Zac’s face flushes and is visibly embarrassed, loosely removing his hand away from Collin’s face.
“Can I mayhaps call you nicknames?” Zac sheepishly questions innocently. “..you’re an exception, i suppose..” Collin remarks, eyes trace Zac affectionately. Collin isn’t the best at showing his feelings so straightforwardly, yet hints in ways to be so endearing..
Collin breaks away from the closeness of his lover, momentarily. Zac eyes him curiously yet longingly. His tail swiftly uncoils around Collin, shaken.
Warmth lingered within, yet the room was chilling. The immense shower of rain danced beautifully along the shelter.
“go rest, hun.. I gotta change, be there waiting-” Collin bashfully implies, removing his hat. Zac blushes at the thought, guiltily..
“Alrightttt!” He brushes off in attempt, in actuality he’s horrible at hiding it. His tail swings anticipatingly. Zac hurriedly looms over the bed before lying on it.
Zac awaits patiently for Collin, slightly dozing off. Enjoying the scent of the bed. Oddly relaxing and misty it certainly felt. Collin begins to remove the soiled extra yellow garments meanwhile. After the ordeal, he sneaks upon the bed.
Zac tiredly yet happily moved closer against Collin. He admires in awe the way he looked right now. He’d argue how lucky he is at the moment, dream-like even.
He shifts around, arm wrapping Collin’s waist. His head rests underneath the crook of his lover’s neck.
He wearily mumbles sweet praises, peppering soft gnaws and kisses. Collin quivers shortly, body heat rising. Collin feels a bit dazed, might be dozing off a bit, yet still aching at every sensation of Zac’s affection.
“Zac..” he groans. Zac stops and shifts away, now facing him.. Collin softly kisses Zac, later Zac reciprocates more delicately.
“I love you..” Zac responds sounding a bit flirtatious, surprisingly.. Collin, easing, “that's gay.. but me too, stupid..” he playfully yawns. The two rest, lovingly in each other's prescence.
