Chapter Text
It was a tough match and the teams were neck and neck. Each side had managed to get 6 points (With more flags than both sides would be comfortable with taking) and it was the last two minutes of the game. Cassidy knew she needed a goal here and fast or they'd go to the uncertainty of overtime.
When the got the ball, she made a rush towards the opponent's goal. Her team was covering her and standing in her way was Jessica. Cassidy had to admit she was not a pushover. She was good. But that was not stopping her today. She had a reputation to build. (And a cute boy to show off to.) With one strong kick to the ball, it made it past the young blonde girl and the goalie into the goal.
SCORE! A skilled shot. 7-6. And with no time left. She had won the game for her team. And before she knew it, she was surrounded by her teammates cheering her for the victory she had just won for them. And then comes the line up of sportsmanship. Both teams walked towards each other for a game well played. And that's when she took a look at her rival. Jessica. She had a look of disappointment but also determination on her face. She may have lost this time but next time, she'll beat her. She can keep thinking that. "I'm simply the best!" Cassidy thought to herself. And now, she had a chance to talk to her family after such a great game.
