A slight buzzing noise wakes up Lied from his sleep, it was a message from a unknown number on his phone.
Hey is this Lindy?
Lied was caught off guard. How did this demon know that he was Lindy? Or how did they even get this number thinking that it was Lindy? (technically the number is Lindy-chans too) He texted back frantically.
Who are you? What do you want.
I got your number from Kuromu-chan and this Beeber.
STUPID KEROLI WHY DID SHE HAVE TO GIVE MY NUMBER TO THIS BASTARD??!! Lied started cursing profusely until his sister came in and hit him because of all the noise he was making.
Oh yeah, hey, still haven’t told me what you want though.
He added Beeber into his phone while trying to text back in a more threatening manner.
I was just wondering about what you said yesterday.
Oh yeah. Uh what did I say again? Lol
You said that I should find a real reason to stay an evidol and I’ve been really thinking about it..
Well what is it?
I think it would be better to tell you in real life so just meet me here at 5pm.
Beeber sends a link to an address. Lied clicks on the link and its a small cafe near the beach shore.
Fine, I'll be there. But I gotta go so cya.
Lied shuts off his phone immediately and sits at the edge of his bed wondering why he even agreed to meet with Beeber in the first place. He can’t dwell on it too long because he has school in 20 minutes.
He puts on his school uniform, brushes his fangs and hair and then leaves his home to fly to school.
It doesn't take Lied long to get to Babyls. He still doesn't get why his head is so wrapped around what Beeber is going to tell him. Maybe he is just really curious about it, because he is super liked and all but why it bothers him is still a mystery.
Still lost in thought he doesn’t hear Jazz yelling at him.
“Lied dude I’ve been calling your name for 2 minutes.”
“Oh sorry I’ve just been thinking about something.”
“Hm wanna share it with me?”
“Hell no.”
Lied and Jazz have been good friends since the start of both their years at Babyls and since they are classmates. Jazz isn’t his best friend like Purson-Kun and Iruma-Kun are and he isn’t his soulmate like Asmodeus, Clara, and Iruma all are. He is just always there for him.
“Aww why nott. You tell me almost everythingg.”
“Because this time it is SUPER personal and plus you don’t need to know everything about me.” More so the Lindy side of him he doesn’t want Jazz to know about.
“I should know everything about you though.”
“Huh?”
“Nothing! Let's get to class before kalgeo-sensei yells at us!”
Lied could have sworn that he heard an undertone of possessiveness in his voice. Though Lied just shrugs it off.
It was finally the last class and 5 minutes before the bell rang. Lied was on the edge of his seat, he didn't know why he felt that meeting with Beeber was so important but he didn't care right now.
The bell rings.
The moment her heard and felt the vibration of the bell Lied sprints out of the class and Babyls building, spreading his wings quickly to fly home fast.
His meeting was 35 minutes after his school ends so that's 30 minutes he has to dress and get ready as Lindy. Which isn't a lot of time but enough time.
She finally gets ready and goes to the cafe near the shore. She actually is there before Beeber so she starts to look at the ocean and daydreaming.
“Sorry did I keep you waiting?” A familiar voice says
“Nope only just got here too”
“Oh okay, I just wanted to tell you my reason to stay as a evidol.”
“Why? It's not my decision to tell you if it's good or not.”
“I-I know but still just hear me out please.”
*sigh* “Sure. I'll listen”
“I'm going to stay an evidol to make you fall for me.”
Lindy sat there in shock, she wasn't disgusted or anything, she felt.. Happy. She felt her face be dusted with a hint of blush. But. She also felt some shame, to deceive him.
“Well, lets see if that happens hehe”
They both smile at each other while the waves crash near them. Both not knowing how their futures will change.
