Hi, so... It's been almost 2 years since last update... Yeah, it's kinda that bad lmao 😭
I essentially lost interest in Genshin in that time period I was trying to think of something to move this story forward, but clearly I was failing lol
Gradually that spark that drove me on just continued to die out and I just... Proceeded to not update at all
BUT
I might have some good news, but I want y'all's opinions, if there's even anyone still looking at this dusty corner- I want to pick it back up, because again, past me planned out quite some stuff for Xiao and I wanted to see them written out. Tbh, the spark was initially lit when ver 2.7 was out (when we went down the chasm and find Bosacius and all that), and when I rewatched a video regarding that quest, I feel... A little compelled again.
So here's the thing, I want to continue writing this, BUT, I think I'll rewrite a lot of things, probably most things here, because chap 9 was def when things died out. Thing is, I'm considering rewriting the story on a completely new work, same title, but a newer, possibly better version? But I don't wanna promise anything, I haven't written anything properly in the last 2 years 😭
So... What do y'all think? Should I rewrite the story but continue here, keep the existing chapters while I cook up the story's newer version? Or do I basically archive this, mark it as complete while I start a new work under the same title?
