Two weeks later they were finally permitted to leave the schools’ precinct alone, instructed to go to one of the Adventure Guild fronts and get some commissions going. They go to Inazuma first as they had combined with Yoimiya and Ayaka to meet.
“Welcome to the adventure’s guild,” The lady said. “I’m Katherine, how can I help you?”
“Uh, hi. Someone told us to get our adventure handbooks here?” Izuku informed.
After being given the handbooks they go on their way to do some commissions with Yoimiya and Ayakas's help. A while after, while they were on their way to the tea house, they found some hostile samurai trying to attack working locals.
The samurai were defeated with ease, using Kaito’s quirk to gather the samurai’s swords together and attack them before they could get them back.
“That was easy.” Said Yoimiya.
“For sure.” Ayaka and Mei answered simultaneously.
“Watch out!” Mei pulled Ayaka out of the way and an arrow flew by. “There’s a trap over there, besides a cave, about twenty meters from here.”
They approached the trap with caution and the support students deactivated the trap, using Hinata’s quirk to analyse the trap and know what to do since the Teyvatyians also didn’t know how it worked.
“It seems to use Anemo energy to launch the projectile further,” Hinata said “I didn’t know you could do that without Visions.”
“The world is full of elemental energy, from the air to the elemental creatures.” Yoimiya responded.
“If you know how to take advantage of it you can do stuff like this.” Ayaka completed.
“Thank you, thank you so much.” One of the locals said.
“They just came out of nowhere, attacking us.” Another explained.
“I think they came from here." A third one points out.
The group of teens came up with a strategy, Haruki would enter using his quirk to get a view of the inside and communicate with the rest after leaving it.
“There’s at least three of them inside, nothing out of the ordinary.” Haruki communicated after leaving the cave.
“You said there were only three!” Kaito complained while struggling to get out of the big samurai’s grip.
“He must’ve been hidden somewhere!” Haruki tried shooting some throwing knives at the enemy.
Izuku and Ayaka tried to get near him while Yoimiya shot her arrows but no matter what they did it didn't seem to be working.
“Do you think they’re ok?” Aoi asked.
“I’m sure they’ll be fine!” Mei said, “Right Hinata?”
Hinata just nodded, the three of them plus Yuna were guarding the entrance to the cave, unaware of what was happening inside.
“If you’re worried you could always use your quirk on one of them” Yuna suggests, all of them had given one of their belongings to Aoi so she could use her quirk. As asked from their teacher to bring some sort of small object, like an action figure, for example.
And that’s what she does, she transfers her point of view to Haruki’s, only to see Kaito being thrown to the wall...Haruki was on the floor when he screamed Kaito’s name, a scream so loud and intense that made her lose all focus and be kicked out of the POV.
“We need to go help them!” She said between breaths as she sat up
“What’s happening? We heard the scream but we couldn’t understand it. Are they in danger?” Mei asked.
The four of them entered the cave and found Kaito lying on the floor unconscious with Haruki by his side trying to stop his head from bleeding.
“Haruki and I will carry Kaito to the town since we brought no reviving SPF,” Yuna exclaimed “You three go find the others.”
“Ay ay captain.” Aoi teased to which Yuna rolled her eyes.
Not long after they found the remaining members of the group and helped them defeat the big samurai and the smaller ones.
“Ah…the-they definitely…weren’t ‘ordinary’..ah” Hinata complained, trying to recover his breath.
“Yeah… they seemed possessed.” Izuku agreed with them.
Later, the rest of the members got to the clinic to meet with the others and also got checked up to not waste SPF. Afterwards they went to investigate the phenomenon.
“Is it common to see possessions here in Teyvat?” Yuna asked, while holding the door for the others to pass.
“It’s not uncommon but this type of possession felt different.” Ayaka said.
“Right?! I thought I was imagining things!” Yoimiya exclaimed.
“Do you have any idea of what might be behind it?” Izuku questioned but got no answer, only two concerned looks on the Teyvatians who look and say something in Inazuman that none of the U.A kids were able to get besides what remained the same in Teyvatian.
“Should we report to the Shogun?” Yoimiya asked Ayaka.
“That would be for the best, yes.” She responded.
“Shogun? As in Inazuma’s god?” Haruki questioned.
“Yeah, what does she have to do with it, why would you mention her?” Hinata continued.
The two girls look at each other again, thinking of what to say, Yoimiya mouths something to which Ayaka nods, turns to the U.A teens and asks to follow her and Yoimiya.
