(Harvey wastes no second and dials Donna's number, his chest rising and falling very hard, Donna picks up, Harvey lets out a sigh of relief)
Harvey- "Donna? Are you okay? Where are u? Are u in danger?"
Donna- "Harvey I am in the office. Its Jessica's proposal meeting. What happened?"
Harvey- "okie. Stay safe. With other people and call 911 if u sense danger- Like immediately!"
(Hangs up)
( Harvey dials Rachel's phone number, panting. It rings until it goes to voicemail. Harvey rings again, same results)
Mike(asks in an unexpectedly calm tone)- Where is she?
Gallo- I'll tell you. I'll guide you. You see that red car parked across the street. Hop in. Let the game begin. Leave ur phones in your car. And do not alert anyone.
Harvey- Your Original Deal was me. Leave him out if it. I'll come to you.
Gallo- Too late. I want you both. Get into the action. Quick.
(Hangs up)
Harvey- its Suicide.
Mike opens the car door, throws the phone in back seat. But leaves the door open and starts walking
Harvey is hesitant to throw his phone away but throws it anyway, but he throws it out on sidewalk.
Mike jumps in car. Harvey right behind. They exchange a glance that silently says 'they will know'
The tables are turned when driver makes them change cars midway TWICE
The thug driver drives them to a abandoned under construction site.
A thug ties ropes around their hands and walks them to upper floor.
Gallo's smug smile welcomes them. Two goons standing next to him. They recognize one as Jimbo, the corrupt Guard from prison.
Gallo- You couldn't stay shut. Huh?
Mike- Staying shut wouldn't have saved me.
Gallo- Snitching, on me would?
Harvey- Let Rachel go Now.
Gallo maintains his expression while a goon behind lets a chuckle slip.
Gallo- I will. I have no beef with her. Don't worry. Jimbo let them stand close to that edge. Let's end it quickly. ....Where is my gun, now? (He returns to a stool behind to get his gun)
Harvey( barely whispers)- He doesn't have Rachel.
Mike's gaze shifts very subtly. But he doesn't react from outside, Mike manages to open his rope tied hands but still keeps ropes in his hands to avoid suspicion.
Gallo returns, this time with a gun pointing at them
Harvey- Aren't you just a coward? This isn't how you assert Dominance. Loose the gun. Open these knots.
Gallo- tsk tsk tsk. I don't have to prove anything any more. (He aims at Harvey)
Mike- let him go. You have me anyways.
Gallo- He is here and i have a gun with 6 bullets, why waste it?
Gallo shoots, In time, Mike kicks Harvey in legs with his full force, and Harvey drops to the ground. Bullet misses him. However, in this action Mike looses balance. He topples towards the edge.
Harvey(Screams)- NOOOOOOOOO!!!
Gallo begins laughing mischievously, Harvey can hear him in background. Harvey turns to the edge and looks over with dread all over his face, He sees Mike hanging to his life, Mike looks up very cutely and smiles. He held to the metal rod poking out of the floor. Harvey lets out a sigh of relief, Harvey frees himself from ropes quickly with great force and extends his hand.
Gallo- STEP BACK!
Mike whispers that he will come up by himself, harvey shifts his attention to Gallo
Harvey- Its over.
Jimbo charges toward Harvey and throws a punch. Harvey ducks it connects an uppercut punch at opponent's chin with an alarming strength. second thug swings and Harvey without loosing a second, Harvey grabs thug's arm and twists it behind thug's back. It makes a snap sound. Goon drops to the floor grunting.
Mike starts climbing using friction from his shoes as a leverage, Gallo steadies himself and raises the gun again, he aims at Mike's a barely visible hand climbing up.
Harvey snaps goon's neck next. Goon collapses again. Harvey makes sure he has fainted.
Gallo(focused on Mike)- You should just stay down.
Bullets misses an inch's spot and hits the rod nearby, it creates some sparks. But this moment ignites enough spark inside Harvey, He throws himself at Gallo. It gives enough time to Mike, he climbs up. He lands flat on his back, gasping. Harvey on the other side hurdles Gallo to the ground. The gun skids across the concrete. Harvey overpowers Gallo. Jimbo grabs Harvey by his neck and starts strangling him. Mike gets up and grabs the rope lying nearby- the one used to tie them. He wraps it around Jimbo's neck. Tightening it, Jimbo looses his grip on Harvey, while trying to save himself. Harvey punches Jimbo hard in the stomach. Gallo crawls out and grabs his gun again. Standing up at his feet again.
Gallo- ENOUGH!
He aims at Harvey, Mike notices the gun again and launches himself at Gallo. Gallo manages to shoot at Harvey mid struggle. Harvey gets shot on his shoulder. Mike freezes. Gallo gun-whips mike across face, Mike falls to ground. His vision blurs for a moment being hit close to eyes, he partially sees Harvey snapping back, Harvey clutches his shoulder, with blood seeping out of his fingers now. Jimbo tackles Harvey to ground in his weak moment and restraints him. Gallo grabs Mike by his shoulder.
Gallo- Onto My first Plan.
He points his gun at Mike’s abdomen and pulls the trigger. A deafening sound echoes.
Gallo- I bet you didn’t read the books that tell you how to patch this up.
Mike stands firm, not breaking eye contact with Gallo. He stands as if the bullet somehow missed him. Harvey scans Mike’s face in pure confusion. It takes a few seconds before Mike coughs blood. His legs begin to crumble beneath him.
Gallo (with hunger in his eyes)-Not done yet.
He pulls Mike up and places the gun at his temple. Harvey gets a power surge. He rolls Jimbo over, hitting him in the neck with his elbow. Jimbo struggles to breathe. Harvey kicks him in the face during the struggle and breaks Jimbo’s nose. Jimbo falls unconscious. Harvey tries to grab the gun from Gallo, but Gallo pulls the trigger again. A shot is fired into the concrete floor. Harvey sees red. Mike regains his strength and composes himself. He grabs Gallo from behind with every bit of strength he has left. Harvey throws punch after punch, ignoring the ache in his shoulder. His punches leave Gallo’s face covered in blood. Sirens are audible nearby. Mike sees the rage in Harvey’s eyes. He is scared that Harvey might do something he will regret. Mike pushes Gallo aside. Gallo lands a few feet away and spits blood.
Mike- You don’t want to kill him, Harvey.
Harvey steps toward Gallo again, but Mike holds him.
Harvey- (pure hate in his voice)He doesn’t deserve our kindness.
Mike (pleads)-I know. But if you kill him, you’re turning yourself into a monster.
Mike places himself in between them, swaying slightly but refusing to move. Harvey looks into Mike’s pleading eyes, his own jaw clenched, chest rising and falling hard. A gunshot cracks through the air — sharp and sudden. Mike stiffens.For a split second, neither of them understands what just happened.Then red begins to spread across Mike’s back.
Gallo (yells from behind)-Six bullets! I am taking at least one of you down!
Mike’s body goes weak in Harvey’s arms.Harvey catches him before he hits the ground, dropping to his knees with him.Gallo makes a run for it. But Harvey doesn’t care. All he sees is Mike’s face growing pale, his breathing turning shallow. Mike closes his eyes.
Harvey- Don't just, Don't.
Soon the place is swarmed with Cops and paramedics. Everything is unfocused for Harvey until a familiar voice calls out his name.
Donna- Harvey? Oh my God Harvey. You are bleeding.
Officer Dan follows close behind.
Dan- We caught him. Just outside, he was threatening us with an empty gun. (He moves to check on Mike)
Donna- when you called me. I figured from your voice that something was wrong. I called station. They had found ur car too. They were already looking at the footage.
Harvey is still fixated on CPR happening in front of him.
Doctor-"Clear"
Mike's body jolts.
Doctor- "going once again, Clear"
Mike's body jolts again, flat line on the tiny monitor.
Doctor- "again, Clear"
After a long second. A weak rhythm returns. So does Harvey's breathing.
Doctor- "loosing a lot of blood, make sure we have arrangements when we get to the hospital"
They put mike on a stretcher and slide him from in front of Harvey and Donna.
Harvey- Where's Rachel?
Donna- At the office. I didn't tell her though.
Harvey lets out another sigh of relief.
Harvey- I should get patched up too.
He follows the paramedics taking fainted Jimbo downstairs.
Few days later
(Donna, Rachel, Harvey and Mike are sitting in a hospital room. Mike has recovered, so has Harvey. Gallo was sent to strictest prison this time for his enrollment in covering Sean's murder spree. And attempting 2 murders(Mike and Harvey) And committing 1 (Tom Lyan). He also threatened cops with a gun. He is awaiting his death penalty)
Rachel- ofcourse I ordered a leash, Mike. There is no way i am gonna let u run off again.
Mike- Leash is still better than a cage I guess.
Harvey- Oh mike and last time when i was being sarcastic about you taking a vacation by urself. I think u thought i was being appreciative about it.I just wanna ckear it out. I DO NOT APPROVE THIS BEHAVIOUR. not only u got urself in danger again. You took me with YOU. I fail to understand why I Chose you as my sidekick.
Mike- well, you see urself in me. You said that right?
Harvey- I also see myself being a billionaire in future and not lying on a ventilator due to ur reckless behaviour!
Mike- Too late...
(Everybody laughs)
