Thank you (if anyone) for reading till the end.

This work is translated from an experimental writing project of mine in 2023. Writing from first-person perspective was new to me, and I can't say it's very successful.

But still, I hope that I have vaguely depicted the trajectory of Miklan's life after fleeing from home. Some facts are deliberately omitted or altered to suit Miklan's POV. He wrote more frequently at the beginning, in a more refrained manner of speech. Gradually his language turned vulgar and his mentality kept deteriorating. In the end, he was finally approaching the core of his tragedy, but everything's too late at that point.

According to Fodlan Art Book, Miklan wears a high-quality robe underneath his armor. The robe, once expensive and fine, is like an analogy to disowned and broken Miklan.

And why's Glenn the intended reader for his letters? Maybe it's because the two big brothers were very unlikely to have zero interaction at all in the old days. Or perhaps, I was just pained that Miklan had no friend and wished to give him one. But in the game, the only blue lion who exchanged a few words with him in battle was Sylvain. What a lone soul...
