Robins POV
I am officially panicking, I called Vickie so she could help me with my makeup forgetting that I am basically naked as I am only wearing the pair of boxers I slept in I mean she could take longer than 20 minutes! I rush around my room to quickly put on the outfit I set out for the party, and as I look out the window Vickie’s car just pulls up. I know she gets anxious about accidentally going to the wrong house, or just knocking on doors in general so I run downstairs and open the door before she can even contemplate knocking. When she enters I hope she can’t tell how out of breath I am.

“Hold still!” Vickie complains, but how can I!? I mean my girlfriend is currently straddling my lap to do my eyeliner, she’s looking at me so intently I feel a thousand miles away from my body.
“I’m trying!” I wiggle a little and Vic sends me a warning glance. I try and stay still and it kind of works.
“If you stay still you’ll get a kiss.”
With those few words I immediately stop wiggling and it isn’t long before Vickie finishes my eyeliner, in reward she gives me a quick peck on the lips.
“Is that it? Vic, that was barely even a kiss!” I pout and try and make the biggest puppy eyes ever just to get her to give in and give me another kiss. I must have done something right as the next moment our lips are pressed together once again, this time she stays for a few seconds before pulling away and kissing my forehead.
“You’re so beautiful…” My lips move before I can process it, the only way I know that thought didn’t stay in my head is because Vickie’s face has gone the same colour as her hair.
I watch as she opens and closes her mouth a few times.
“Did Dan not call you beautiful or something?”
“I… No… I um… I guess he didn’t.”
“Men… Well I will tell you every day from this day forward!”

Soon enough we are ready. I can’t take my eyes off Vickie, we are both wearing the outfits we first wore when we volunteered together, each time I look at her my body tingles with memories.
When we walk downstairs Steve jumps when he sees Vickie quickly exclaiming that he didn’t see her come in, he then started trying to tour her around before turning to me and telling me to give her a tour, he knows she has seen the whole house, he just wants to give me and her more alone time. As we walk away Steve throws me a thumbs up and a smile. I roll my eyes.

The first person to arrive is Nancy, she’s the only one who actually follows arriving on time. Vickie used to hate Nancy, I think it’s because I hang around with her a lot. I know Dan cheated on her so I don’t mind reassuring her. Vickie likes Nancy now though and they have become friends.
“Hey Nance! On time as always.”
Nancy looks at the clock behind me before responding “I’m actually 2 minutes late.”
I roll my eyes and we continue talking until everyone else arrives and I lose her in the crowd. But Vickie is stuck to my side, wait… Where is Vickie? She was just here?
