Chapter Text
Jack waited in the darkness, listening for any sudden sounds. He clicked his flashlight on when he heard a rustle in his room, flashing Dave.
"Agh—! Sportsy!" Dave yelped.
Jack clicked off the flashlight, setting it aside. "Dave! How do you keep getting in here? All my windows and doors are locked!" Jack interrogated sternly.
Dave blinked away the spots in his eyes caused by the blinding light Jack shined in his face. "Now, Old Sport. That's a secret." Dave said with a waggle of his finger.
Jack sighed loudly, facepalming.
"You could atleast ask first before breaking into my room."
Dave thought about that for a minute, stroking his chin.
"Well then, if you insist I ask, can I pretty please sleep with ya, Sportsy?" Dave asked, dramatically batting his non-existent eyelashes.
Jack almost choked.
"Don't— Don't word it like that! And…" He trailed off, thinking about that offer.
Well, he did let Dave fall asleep with him once. Might as well do it again.
"Yeah, sure." He huffed.
Dave grinned widely at that, crawling into Jack's bed and wrapping his arms around him.
Jack tensed up, and he was glad it was dark so Dave couldn't see his face because he was most definitely blushing.
He struggled to make a move for a bit, before slowly melting into the embrace, carding his hand through Dave's hair and hiking his leg up his waist.
"G'night, Jack." Dave murmured sleepily.
Jack's heart skipped a beat. Dave didn't often call him by his actual name, so when he did, it shot him right through the heart.
"Goodnight..." He whispered.
