"Stop it, Yoo Joonghyuk." Han Soo Young said.
Joonghyuk let go gently. His hands were shaking so bad it felt like an earthquake was happening. But he stopped it.
"I.. Dont like men." Joonghyuk hesitantly stated. Voice cold and firm, as if that was the only answer he'd give.

There it was, the answer. Joonghyuk left the room. Refusing to even look at Dokja. Kim Dokja just smiled. He felt his vision blur as tears fell off his face. He must've hated Dokja real bad to say that.

Kim Dokja had expected it. What he hadn't expected nor even thought about was the fact that Yoo Joonghyuk was lying.
Joonghyuk sat down on the bench outside Dokja's room. Face dark.
Was it really too late? Why did that stupid squid have to go and get surgery and forget 𝘩𝘪𝘮..? Joonghyuk wasn't one to read much, but he knew what the hanahaki disease was. Soo Young and.. 𝘋𝘰𝘬𝘫𝘢 had mentioned it to him at least a couple hundred times.
Yoo Joonghyuk started to regret saying that. 𝘋𝘰𝘬𝘫𝘢 sounds like such a tragic name to him now. Why couldn't he just have had told joonghyuk how he felt earlier? Then they wouldn't have to go through this.
At least he won't leave. If he got surgery then he's—safe. He could just start over with Dokja and it'd be fine, right? Joonghyuk held onto that bit of hope until he saw doctors come in and out of Dokja's room. He walked over, footsteps heavy and stared at him through the glass.
Blood? But— didn't he get surgery already?.. Why was there blood coming out of his mouth?..
"Fuck."
"Fuck.."
"Shit."
Joonghyuk felt like throwing up.
"Let me—Let me in! Why is he.. Why the fuck is he 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨?! Get—get away!" The personnel looked at him as if he was going insane.
Yoo Joonghyuk, consumed by puzzled fury, was too strong to be stopped by just anyone. He was somehow able to grasp away from their hold the moment they let their guard down.
Yet, even as he did, the only thing he could do was watch.
If he barges in and pushed the doctors away, Dokja would just get more into danger, although he already has.
"Han Soo Young—what the fuck is happening to him?! I-.. I thought he was.." Joonghyuk tried to talk. But his throat felt like shit.
Soo Young didn't let her gaze turn away from Kim Dokja. She herself couldn't take it anymore. Why the fuck did she even agree to Kim Dokja's plan?
Regret spread all over her.
"Fuck. Dokja.. I.. I'm sorry..I-" Han Sooyoung spoke once more, yet her sentence was broken into mutters and whispers.

The EKG machine stopped beeping, showing a flat line as an unwanted sound rang in their ears.
"Stop it. Make it stop please— this can't be real. It's fake right? It's all just part of one stupid messed up prank right? Isn't that— Isn't that what the two of you always like to do right—right?.. Soo Young.. Han Sooyoung please tell—tell me it's all a joke.."
Joonghyuk whispered, voice whispy and desperate.
"I- Joonghyuk.. I'm sorry." Her eyes were still locked onto Kim Dokja's face. It was that incident all over again, just that.. This time,
Kim Dokja wasn't gonna turn out alive.
