Kon’s POV:
“I’m just saying, it’s crazy that you’re related to Batman!” Bart and I have been going on about this for more than 30 minutes, and we could tell that Rob was getting tired and annoyed, “and the Red Hood! Like he kills I never knew he was related to BATMAN!”
“Oh my days! I’m literally adopted and so is Hood! Hell, most of my family is and the only one who isn’t is the demon brat!” Yeah Rob is sooooo pissed at us right now, “most of them aren’t even legally his! Spoiler is like an infinite daughter in law even though I broke up with her-!”
“Wait you dated Spoiler!” I cut in suddenly, “that’s so cool, she’s like the most iconic heroine! Like ever!”
“I know right!” Bart continued, “remember when she called out that one reporter that harassed every teen hero ever!”
“Iconic!”
“Hey! I’m iconic!” Tim more yelled than stated, “I’ve… uhm… I’m jut iconic ok!”
“Whoa chill Rob,” I think that we really pissed him off, I’ve never seen him this mad, “you are iconic, you’re just not Spoiler iconic, remember when you leaked and entire company’s info out, including that there staff consisted of most $ex offenders when it claimed to be ‘completely against dehumanization’,” he seemed to kinda cheer up at that but then his face went sour.
“Yeah and half of them were child $ex offenders that were hired in areas that dealt with kids,” Rob said with disgust written all over his face.
Tim’s POV:
That case was epic, I worked for more than 3 days straight no sleep running on caffeine and the need for these people to be publicly shunned then executed by Jason because no way would he let them live after he had all their info. What he didn’t understand was why Jason hadn’t found them earlier, he dedicated half his hero persona to this protector of children and women (but it’s not really as fake as a typical persona) but he didn’t manage to track down these people who were a danger to children and women, oh well, maybe his brother just isn’t as smart as he is☺️. Yes, that was it he’s just better than Jason.
Back to the matter at hand though, how the heck did my best friends not connect the dots that we were related, everyone knew that we had all been the Robins and Batgirls, so did they just think that Batman trained random kids with their own parents- oh wait… no… he did do that with me… but that was different! I was the one who went to him! Anyway, the only reason it was possible with me was cause my parents would leave me for… months… and not check on me… or give me a nanny… since I was… 9. But the rest! They couldn’t have believed that Batman found a bunch of kids who were abused/abandoned/neglected/orphaned/anything that would make the parents not notice they went out every night, or not care, and not adopt or help them.
“I’m still confused, and kinda concerned, about how y’all for real didn’t know.”
“What do you mean!” Bart exclaimed.
“How could we’ve know!” Kon continued, “I mean you never tell us stuff that we could use to find out who you are.”
“Do I? I’d never noticed that before. Huh, that bat training is really permanent ain’t it!”
“You never noticed?” Kon was in complete and utter disbelief along with Bart.
