I wonder what clothes you wear to school
Somehow, knowing Eddie was gay made Steve want to hang out with him more but he would never admit that. Eddie invited Robin and Steve to his trailer to watch some movies and for the first time in his life, he feels as if he needs to actually look good before he goes to his trailer. Steve makes sure to fix his hair and decides to just wear a denim jacket, a polo and jeans.
Steve leaves the house, not bothering to tell his parents and gets his keys to open his car to fetch Robin. Robin gets in the car and Steve starts driving.
"Thanks for the ride"
"What did you think I wouldn't pick you up?"
"I knew you would pick me up, Steve, It's just a nice thing to say" Robin says while popping her P's
"Never said that the last times I picked you up" Steve mutters.
Robin looks at him and says "Steve, last time you picked me up was when I was getting ready for me and Vickie's date. So sorry for not saying thank you but I was busy making sure I didn't look homeless compared to Vickie." It looks like Robin's hands are speaking instead of her mouth.
"I didn't even say anything!"
"Oh don't you play with me Steve I saw you." She says while pointing at Steve.
Their banter continues until they arrive to Eddies doorstep.
"Okay, okay I get it whatever lets just stop fighting, Eddie is going to get a bad impression of us"
Robin looks at him weird. "Why do you think he thinks that we are dating?"
"Obviously not Robin its just-" Steve is about to finish his sentence until Eddie opens his door.
"Buckley! Come in I already picked a movie! Oh and Harrington!" He smiles while inviting them in.
Instead of Eddies usual tank and hairstyle, his hair is down and he is wearing a denim jacket.
Somehow this look looks even hotter but yet again, Steve will never admit that.
"Nice clothes dude" Steve says giving a fist bump.
"Oh yeah, sorry man forgot to change"
"Did you have an event or something?"
"Nah just came from school"
"Wont you get bullied or something?-"
"Wow.. You really care? King Steve really has changed.."
"..Haha. Yeah."
Steve says with a slight smile that doesn't reach his eyes. Steve hates that name. He hates that name so fucking much. It reminds him that no matter how much he changed or tries, people will still think of him as an egotistical asshole. He hates it but he would never say.
Steve walks into the trailer and sits on the couch in front of the TV with Robin waiting for them "So what movie are we watching?" Robin asks Eddie.
"I have The Shining, E.T, Ghostbusters, Star wars, Back to the Future and The Breakfast club.. Oh and Scar face" Eddie states while looking at his DVDs
"I thought you picked a movie already"
"Buckley, when I say that I mean I have options"
"I've never seen The Shining" Steve confesses. Robin and Eddies heads snap to Steve
"What!?"
"I've watched it like twice!" Robin says
"Dude I've watched it 5 times now."
"Well now we have to watch it!" Robin says while grabbing the DVD and inserting it.
"Wait I forgot to prepare food" Eddie confesses "Dude.." Robin and Steve say.
Eddie comes back with a bowl of popcorn and 3 cokes. Eddie puts the bowl and cokes on the table in front of them and sits beside Steve to see his reaction when he watches it. (the arrangement is Robin, Steve, Eddie)
The movie starts and Eddie, seeing this so many times, got bored from the first 30 minutes. He turns his head to Steve and Robin, thinking Robin is bored already. Except, Robin is fully imbursed in the movie. So, Eddie looks at Steve instead. Eddie notices his hair is much more fixed. He also notices the way his eyebrows furrow whenever theres a scary scene and that he fidgets a lot.
"Eddie?"
Eddie cant stop looking at Steve. Its like his neck got paralyzed. His eyes looks at Steves lips.
"Eddie??"
Not only that but-
"EDDIE!"
Steves hands is on Eddies shoulders now. He can feel heat crawl up to his face. Before Eddie gets more thoughts, he realizes the movie ended. Eddie didnt notice the credits rolling.
"Uh.. You okay?" Steve asks
"Oh.. Yeah. I just got bored" Eddie lies
"Didnt look like it" Robin says while standing up beside Eddie
Steves eyes glance downwards to Eddies lips but then he quickly looks back up. He then realizes his hands are still in Eddies shoulders so he pulls away after a while. Seems like Steve was also in a trance.
"Okay what the fuck this is getting creepy, can you guys stop staring?? It looks like youre being possessed" Robin complains
"What did I do!?" Steve asks
"You were clearly staring at Eddie just now?? Am I the only normal person here or something? Can you lovebirds look anywhere else?"
"Well it was nice watching the movie Eddie" Steve says, ignoring Robin
"Yeah man! No problem!" Eddie says
Steve and Robin stand up, and are getting their stuff to leave.
"Bye Eddie!" Robin and Steve say while waving
"Bye-bye!" Eddie says while bowing.
