THE ANALYZING :
there's a woman sitting at the window - introduces leafy
a comely but lonely widow - leafy is alone (note : this is bfdia leafy, or metal leafy)
she locks the doors and shuts off the light - doesn’t let anybody know how much she’s carrying / bottles everything up
“will you be my star tonight?” - this is a stretch but leafy doesnt want to be so alone
lovely red roses, pockets of posies - symbolizes love and connection
stained wedding gown, we all fall down - the gown might be stained with blood, indicating suicide and self harm (which makes more sense later)
the woman by the window - mentions leafy
tall, shy widow - again more leafy info
cleans the beer puddles staining the floor - unhealthy coping mechanism
and sits back at the window - window is her safe place
waiting once more. - she’s been waiting a while
The woman at the window - leafy
waiting for her intro - can’t be herself
but instead greets nothing - she’s completely alone, and nobody wants to see her
and goes back to rotting - she’s rotting in her safe place
in the deep corner - the window
she writes a note - suicide note
and turns out the light. - turning out the light = suicide
