Mars doesn't know when he fell back asleep, he just knows that he did, cause he closed his eyes and when he opened them he was in a field of blue flowers, looking around he saw Lunar, a few feet away from him, he looked fine, but he had a spinning black square, covering his face, he couldn't see Lunar's face, but Mars could tell he was watching him
M: Lunar? Where are we? Why can't I see your face?
L: you did this to me
Mars could barely hear his response yet also it felt like it was being screamed into his ear
M: what do you mean I did this to you? What happened?
L: you let this happen, you watched and did nothing, you stood by as I died
M: what are you talking about? You're alive, you're fine, I saw you yesterday
Lunar stopped responding, the world glitched red and black as he moved a hand to his face, as if to grab the square, the world around them went dark and Mars jolted awake in his chair, still at his desk in his room
M: ugh, what the hell are these dreams? I should check my code
Mars checked the time, it was about time to head to the daycare. Mars stood up, turning off his computer before leaving his room and heading to the daycare. Mars saw Lunar, he was clearly fine, what was going on with these dreams? Mars waved to Lunar before sitting at the desk, Lunar smiled and waved back and Mars got that weird feeling in his chest.
L: hey Mars! You good? You look like you barely slept
M: just, bad dreams
L: oof, that sucks
M: yeah
L: well Earth and Andromeda should be here soon
As if on cue, the two walked in, talk about something to do with cats
E: -more cats would be awesome though! Then Lady would have a friend!
A: you already play with Lady almost whenever you can! Oh hey Mars, Lunar!
M: hey you two, what’s this about another cat?
A: Earth wants more cats
M: Lady is already expensive enough with how much you spoil her
E: but she needs friends!
M: she’s already got you, besides, what if she doesn’t like the new cat? Then you’d need two more cats which just doubles your problem
E: oh fine, I’ll just keep playing with Lady
A: well we should probably start getting ready for the kids
L: fair
