Chapter Text

Tenna’s screen was covered in static as the video played. It was an absolute sensory overload of subway surfers, baby stimulation videos, and minecraft parkour surrounding two streamers barking at each other.

Finally, the video ended. It took a moment for Tenna’s screen to flicker back to his usual face. Despite the lack of eyes, he had a thousand yard stare. “I… What just happened?”

“Is this really what people like nowadays?” Tenna cringed at the thought, and then he became mortified. “Oh god. Do I have to make things like that to stay relevant?”

Tenna sighed out in relief. “Of course, what was I thinking? You guys love TV, right?”

The TV’s antennae curled up at the flattery. “Let’s just hope that the next one is… comprehensible!”

The next clip was a femboy in a cat maid outfit.

“What an interesting costume!” Tenna smiled innocently. “And a great ass!”

“What do you mean? It’s a genuine compliment!! And look at the video!” Tenna gestured to the video at the corner of the screen. “They’re clearly showing off their ass!”

The femboy was, indeed, shaking his ass at the camera.

“Actually, that outfit looks a bit familiar…” Tenna tilted his head back in thought. After a few seconds, his antennae perked up. “I’ve got it! That’s the outfit Swatch wears!! Maybe he does the same dance, too. Not that it would be very effective given his small ass.”

There were a few seconds of silence as Tenna silently considered the Color Cafe’s rebrand. Then, it was interrupted by a loud stuttering bitcrushed noise.

It almost sounded like glitched laughter.

Tenna, however, paid chat no mind as he continued. “What’s so funny? I’m just stating facts. And the fact is, Swatch wouldn’t be able to pull this business strategy off!”

“EAHAHAHAEHA!!!! [Don't make your password easy to guess]? TOO LATE!! I ALREDDY MADE MY PASS[worm] THE SAME AS MY [user id] IN [Chapter 2: Stagehand] STOP [cathode] YOU;rE [Murder spree] ME!!”

Tenna couldn’t hide his smile now. He was clearly eating up Spamton’s reaction. “On face value, the absurdity alone should bring in views. But I haven’t heard anything about it. Clearly, Swatch doesn’t have the confidence to throw it back.”

Spamton’s laughter doubled (literally. The audio was playing over itself). Tenna leaned forwards, all of his attention on Spamton and a lovestruck smile on his face.

This continued for a while. Whenever Spamton managed to calm down for a bit, Tenna kept making some joke that would send him back into another laughing fit. Eventually, Tenna started to break, and they kept giggling like school girls.

Eventually, their laughter died down. There were a few seconds of peaceful silence before Spamton suddenly shouted “[@$?!]!! WE’RE STILL [live on tv]!”

Tenna tilted his head. “Yeah? And?”

“I DIDN’T [mute]! THEY CAN HEA;r!”

“Oh. Well, you talk through the chat all the time, right? How’s this any different?”

“IT- IT JUST [is what it is]!!”

The audio cut off. Tenna moved almost entirely off camera. His arm would swing into view every now and then, but there was no way to know what his expression was or what they were saying.

A few minutes passed like this. A viewer would occasionally send a video (usually a joke about divorce) but nothing came on screen for a while.

Suddenly, Tenna’s head popped on camera with a cheerful smile on his screen. “We’re back, folks! Spammy- I mean- Spamton and I talked it out, and he’s decided to start talking on stream now!”

“BUT YOU,RE NOT GETTING THIS [lovely lovely voice] ALL THE TIME.”

“I GET TO [assault] YOUR EARS AND [assault] YOUR EYES AT THE SAME TIM3!!”

Another video began to play from the media share. It was a ten minute brainrot compilation video.

Only five seconds in, Tenna muttered, "Spamton, I can't do this anymore. Please end the stream."

The stream ended an hour before it was planned to. The person who paid $60 for ten minutes of media share was not refunded.
