Chapter Text
The door is locked. V is very worried, eyes hollow, shakiness in her voice. “U-uzi are you okay” you can hear how anxious she is through the door. “N-no” Uzi says, her voice breathy and shaky, with the robotic voice of the Solver pushing through her own. V takes this as a signal to just claw through the door, her normal hands transforming into claws without thinking. When the door is finally open, it might be too late. V sees the Solver already taking over Uzi’s body. Without Uzi having any control over her body, she pounces on V and stabs her with a piece of the discarded mirror. V falls back with the shard already in her stomach. The piece entered with a wet squelch, and as soon as it was removed, V’s oil starts oozing out quickly, the battle already starting to get gory. V stabs the Solver’s host, Uzi, with her tail full of nanite acid, this partially stuns her. V’s wound is already healing up due to her being a Disassembly Drone, though it left a tough mark, slim, but still painful and bleeding. Uzi’s visor briefly shades a colour of purple, just before V was about to strike. This made V stop shortly because she remembered it was Uzi. Not just the solver. V discarded these thoughts and fought back. She clawed at Uzi’s chest, just barely scraping the surface. She scraped with a loud screeching sound of the metal on metal, “How could you do this!?” V yelled out to the Solver, with her eyes starting to water. She did like stabbing and scraping at Uzi for something she didn’t do. Uzi’s eyes start to glitch back to purple, being able to actually talk to V again, during this terror of a mess. Uzi finally snaps out of it and falls backwards. V goes towards Uzi and kneels down in front of her “Are you okay Zi’...? V says anxiously, eyes hollow. “No…” Uzi says as she starts sobbing and she hugs V. V was confused, but she didn’t pull back, V returned the hug. V didn’t know why but she enjoyed hugging Uzi, though it made her feel guilty that she would feel this way at a time like this, though she couldn’t help it. V squeezes her eyes shut to hold in tears.
Uzi pulls away from the hug, though still needing V. “I’m sorry V…” Uzi says with tears still running down her face. “It’s okay honey.” goddamn it, why did you say that…? V thought, though it didn’t seem like Uzi noticed, maybe she didn’t care. “No it’s not okay V, I hurt you.” Uzi said, tears still streaming down. All of this and they didn’t notice the time that had passed, it’s already 7 am.
