🚨!!!!SPOILERS FOR Collinlock16 continuity, Searching for a player who went missing ,and A ReGect.🚨
Andre in this au is pretty introverted and prefers working alone most of the time(unless it is with Assimilation then he doesn’t mind)
Andre doesn’t care too much about creating friendships as he already has the people from his own world even if not all of them know him personally, he is satisfied with the people he considers friends at his schools such as Collin(who was still bitter at Andre for taking his stuff, but Andre gave him his notes and helped him study for a few of the more harder subjects as an apology since Andre isn’t one for actually apologizing and prefers doing things that can count as one, so Collin and Andre are good now), Andre also met Zacnavius as well as Vitriolic and Kevin.
Andre likes Zac’s company mainly because Zac usually talks about his own interests which happens to be sometimes the same as Andre’s. Vitriolic and Andre don’t talk, but Andre likes the silence with Vitriolic as it usually feels comforting for him. Andre doesn’t really mind Kevin, but he sometimes asks a little bit too many questions in the same second about personal stuff related to the admins and Assimilation which annoys Andre, but other than that Andre sees Kevin as a great and reliable guy.
Andre mostly hangs out with Collin due to the fact that he is the one who Andre trusts the most in the school, especially, that he knows about all the ruckus with the admins, Assimilation, and so on.
The other protagonists don’t exactly mind Andre and a lot of them already know that he is a robot mainly because of his looks and moving ear antennas. Though, the newly enrolled protagonists can sometimes be shocked at the existence of a robot protagonist, but with time they just normalize it.
Andre’s grades aren’t that bad and are mostly just decent. However, this is what frustrates a lot of his teachers because they know for a fact that he knows everything about the lessons due to him studying them and answering any question that the teachers throw at him without hesitation, the only problem is that he doesn’t care that much about his grades to actually give it his all so he can be in the mastery classes.
Andre actually mainly prefers the decent classes as he believes that they are easier to study for(in fact he doesn’t even study for them and studies stuff Assimilation takes by taking Assimilation’s notes and researching about them because he is bored) and not only that, most of the chaos and fun to observe stuff happen mostly in the decent classes which is what is stopping Andre from actually going up to the mastery classes.
Andre still has that craving to finish speedruns as it quite literally is a part of his code and what he was supposedly made for. However, due to the school being protected by a magic barrier to not anyone get out or in then for Andre it is practically impossible for Andre speedrun finishing minecraft which can make Andre feel overwhelmed and not know what to do.
Luckily, Alex noticed and tried to understand more about it which led to her helping Andre speedrun, but in a different way to help with his code. Alex decided to encourage Andre to try and speedrun more smaller things such as speedrunning an exam of his(even if it isn’t recommended because it usually ends up making students create more mistakes, but she knew that Andre knew what he was doing so she let him be), maybe try speedrunning creating a farm, or even speedrun making a good looking building for building class.
The idea worked for the most part and helped lessen Andre’s overwhelmness, and it was safe to say that Andre was more than happy with it.
Additionally, despite how clever and good Andre is at his classes, the only class Andre genuinely has an issue with is the PVP class(yes there is a PVP class). He struggles a lot fighting other students because most of the time he kinda just hits wherever not focusing on what would be best with defeating his opponent and tends to even panic once he is on the brink of losing which contributes to his failure in the class.
Andre has also gained interest with other robot-like protagonists, for example the tv head person from Untitled minecraft arg/Minecraft arg but the entity is scared. Andre knows he isn’t exactly a robot like him, but close enough for him to actually try to form a connection between him.
At first, Andre tried to somewhat be friends with the tv head person, but it turned into failure due to the tv head person’s memory problem which Andre was and still is confused about, but wishes for him to get better nonetheless. Andre still tries to talk to him and help him out whenever possible as he found him pretty nice and friendly even if he constantly forgets Andre, Andre got used to it.
Andre also became nice buddies with Ze, from a ReGect. However, Andre didn’t think much about befriending Ze since he wasn’t a part of the people Andre was interested in. Ze was the one who stepped forward and introduced himself to Andre and started hanging out with them. In the beginning, Ze just wanted to know some of the tricks and clutches Andre knew that could help him in some of his classes, but later they both became closer and eventually became friends. Although they don’t hang out much, they still say hi and check up on each other every now and then whenever they can.
Before all of that though, when Andre first realized that he and Assimilation were finally free from the admins, Andre was lost on what to do yet happy that he was finally free to do whatever he wanted for once. This also included spending time with Assimilation which he discovered was a problem at the time due to their unresolved issues and Andre’s betrayal before the admins came and collected them.
Andre at that time felt pretty guilty and wanted nothing but to apologize to Assimilation, to get him to understand that he didn’t do that because he wanted to, but it was something a part of him. As annoying as it can be, it is something that Andre has grown tolerant to even if it costs a lot of him.
Andre sees the PSYCHO_NETWORKS chats and all they say and such. He likes seeing them do their thing as a way to entertain himself especially when he is bored in a class. The PSYCHO_NETWORKS each tend to have some sort of effect on Andre that affects his behavior and attitude. For example, when Andre is with Assimilation, Sidi tends to take the initiative with affecting Andre’s behavior but not fully. It is just enough to make Andre act in a much friendlier and energetic manner with Assimilation, but not fully to the point where Andre becomes extremely talkative and enthusiastic with Assimilation. The same goes to the other chatlings.
With that Andre tried to explain to Assimilation about the PSYCHO_NETWORKS as much as he could, so Assimilation can understand that it wasn’t something that he willingly did, the PSYCHO_NETWORKS just happen to have this unconscious effect on him that happen in certain situations.
It took Assimilation some time to understand the whole thing, even after they were finally on good terms, Assimilation still wasn’t entirely used to it especially now that he can talk to Andre more freely and can relax and notice the different effects each of the PSYCHO_NETWORKS have on Andre more clearly.
Andre is also roommates with Jack from the minecraft arg Searching for a player who went missing(I revived him because I love him:3). The both of them don’t speak to each other at all. Mainly because Jack doesn’t talk because of what happened to him(ifykyk), but currently he is slowly recovering with Steve and Alex’s help(Also just a small note that he already died in the real life, but he is still alive within the game itself basically Ghost in the machine type of situation). Meanwhile, Andre doesn’t usually talk to him because of his usual quiet and introverted self.
Andre was also briefly told about Jack’s condition just so he can take care of his actions and behavior around Jack. Andre was mostly chosen as Jack’s roommate due to his calm and quiet behavior which matched with Jack’s need for a silent and keep to himself type of roommate. Although Andre can’t lie that he is pretty curious to know what happened with Jack, he knows better than to ask a traumatized kid about his trauma.
Jack also sometimes writes in ciphers in wooden signs stuff that he needs or wants and it would be in very simple sentences. Andre has the ability to decipher the signs almost immediately thanks to the PSYCHO_NETWORKS which gives another reason as to why Andre is roommates with Jack.
Another thing is that Andre usually doesn’t focus most of the time in his classes. Andre just goes on airplane mode in his head in his classes while writing notes. To entertain himself, he just reads the PSYCHO_NETWORKS’s chat or he just goes on the internet. Then when Andre returns back to his dorm, if it is a lesson that he doesn’t know or remember(which is a very rare case) he would sit and study the lesson by himself to make himself understand it as he prefers it that way.
The internet part is a headcanon I gave Andre with him being able to surf on the internet and even watch stuff through pirated websites since he doesn’t have the luxury of actual legit streaming apps like Netflix or he just watches youtube or look at social media which is what he does most of the time. Despite this, Andre doesn’t have the capability to run games within his systems so no he cannot run DOOM. Another small headcanon with this one is that the PSYCHO_NETWORKS have access to the internet as well which is how they make references that a person with actual internet access would be able to reference in the actual video of Minecraft arg but the protagonist is a speedrunner. They are also capable of leaving comments and such but it usually just ends up looking like bot comments so they barely get any attention.
He has watched anime before, specifically JJBA(which is technically canon due his references to it in the actual video); he knows Japanese, and has read a few short stories before including Dunwich horror(which is also technically canon due to it being referenced in the video as well). Andre also absolutely loves Sonic and likes listening to OSTs from the games. Andre also likes watching gameplays of the Sonic games and his favorite one is Sonic the hedgehog CD mainly because Metal Sonic appears in it(He likes Metal Sonic a lot). He also likes Miku and listens to her songs a lot.
Andre hasn’t let anyone from his school know about his ability to access the internet because he knew that people would probably start annoying him about going to the internet searching up random stuff. He only let Assimilation know since he was his friend, and because he knew Assimilation wasn’t exactly too interested to know Andre’s capabilities with the internet.
Andre also likes going to meet Assimilation and chatting together. Andre has hoped for them to one day get closer and become friends like they wished to be back in Andre’s speedrun and ever since they were put in the school, he has been able to chill with Assimilation and talk with him as much as he wanted. They usually talk about random stuff most of the time or just study quietly together. Andre usually gives his notes to Assimilation whenever he sees that they have a lesson in common, and he also tries to help Assimilation understand the lessons he struggles with.
Andre has met Assimilation’s friends before including Regect and Xow. Andre knew about Regect from Ze, and he thinks that Regect is a nice guy, a little loud yes, but still nice and chill. For Xow, Andre thinks he is a little awkward, but he believes his fear of Seo(who happens to be one of his classmates) is completely valid.
