Chapter Text
The episode opens up to Fred standing on the dock, "Last time on Battle of Ambition, the contestants had to go on a scavenger hunt to find items that belonged to some of their fellow contestants and my coin that my disgrace of a co-host lost on purpose." Fred says
"Hey!" Mr. Albu shouts from off screen
"But the chipmunks managed to buy their way out of elimination and Zacharie flipped on Nathaniel in an unexpected move! But how will Nathaniel's alliance cope with the elimination of their leader, who will be eliminated tonight? Those are some questions we'll be finding out later on Battle. Of. Ambition!" Fred exclaims
The intro starts off with Frederick smiling and waving at the camera while Mr. Albu stands next to him with his arms crossed and rolling his eyes as the camera zooms into the winter resort showing Monika tending to some flowers only for Xander to step on them while laughing causing Monika to stand up and slap him then the camera cuts to Janice arguing with Erin and then Darrell comes over and blows a whistle causing it to stop then Ophelia shows up twirling then leaps gracefully away from view causing Darrell to be distracted and Janice pounces at Erin and Darrell tries breaking up the fight then the camera cuts to Izura practicing combat only to accidentally punch Preston in the face then the camera cuts to Zacharie following an annoyed Felix and trying to talk to him then Felix yells at him and while Harvey is walking by reading a book Felix stops and grabs Harvey's book and throws it at Zacharie then the camera cuts to Sage holding a cute bird on her finger which Kelsey awed and starts singing causing the bird to jump and flap its wings with joy as Sage watches happily only for Willa to walk in front of them and release evil birds from her hat causing the bird to get scared and quickly fly away then the evil birds come after Sage while Kelsey watches in horror then the camera shows Allen casually walking by and Sage running and pouncing Allen knocking them both to the ground as the birds fly past them and then the camera shows Sage and Allen on the ground then Sage and Allen realize their close proximity and Sage quickly gets off Allen and smiles awkwardly at him while he does the same, both blushing with embarrassment as they chuckle awkwardly then the camera cuts to Vance sitting on a tree stump meditating then Raytheon pops up unaware of Vance and plays his guitar loudly causing Vance to cover his ears then the camera cuts to Bianca adjusting an outfit while Quincy watches with interest then Bianca steps aside and reveals the outfit causing Quincy to clap happily but the moment is ruined when Carmen skates by on her roller skates however she skates on a mud puddle causing mud to splash on the outfit and both girls causing Bianca to scowl and Quincy to frown then the camera pans out to Leon capturing a picture of the disaster that just transpired with his camera while giggling to himself then the camera cuts to Tiffany posing while Gabrielle draws her and once Tiffany stops posing she smiles waiting for the results of the drawing only to be astonished that the drawing was of a clown which shifts to anger as she yells at a smug Gabrielle who just smirks at her then the camera cuts to Nathaniel pondering as he then notices a hole and he smirks smugly thinking he found an advantage and goes down to get a closer look and leans a bit closer only to have a racoon suddenly pounce at him and claw at his face while he screams and runs while frantically trying to get the racoon off him then the camera moves up towards the sun which transitions to the moon in the night sky as the camera moves down to everyone peacefully roasting marshmallows together and Frederick then walking into frame along with Mr. Albu and waving at the camera smugly grinning while staring at the camera which zooms out from them and pans back up at the moon showing the logo of the season as the intro concludes
The snakes are in their shelter where nearly everyone was doing their own things except for Carmen and Zacharie and Carmen then turned to Zacharie
"Why'd you vote for Nathaniel?" Carmen whispers to him
"I know you guys are my allies which would make it seem like an easy decision but it wasn't, not when I was being convinced by one half of this team to vote for one person and the other half to vote someone else. But I also did it because I saw one of our teammates steal his advantage before the ceremony and I would've told you about it but I..." Zacharie whispers
"What, what happened?" Carmen whispers with worry
"I got threatened to keep quiet or else they'd have used the advantage on me." Zacharie whispers with convincing fear to which Carmen seems concerned
"Who took the advantage?" Carmen asks as Zacharie's gaze begins to dart around until his eyes lock on Allen before his gaze comes back to Carmen
"A- Allen, he was the one that took the advantage." Zacharie says with a shaky voice
"But why are you talking to me, shouldn't you be mad that I flipped on you like those two are?" Zacharie says pointing to Gabrielle and Harvey who don't notice as they are doing their own things
"Because I don't see why you'd flip on your alliance like that without a reason and I can't bring myself to be mad at you right now." Carmen says
"Thank you, Carmen." Zacharie says with a nod and Carmen nods back happily and the two decide to sleep
Meanwhile, Vance notices Allen writing something and looks over to see what it is
"What are you writing?" Vance asks, intrigued
"I'm just working on some unfinished stuff from school and stuff that I got assigned before coming here. I have to do something productive somehow." Allen says to which Vance smiles
"I think you're doing a great job, Len. You're already such an intelligent person, you could get this done in no time." Vance says
"I hope I can as well, but I appreciate your encouragement." Allen says
"Of course you can, my friend. You just need to believe you can too." Vance says to which Allen considers it before smiling
[static buzzing]
Allen:I can't believe that 2 days ago I was mad at him for voting off Sage but now we're suddenly getting along. I'm still not happy about what he did though, but he did seem genuinely sorry about it which is good but I still have my doubts.
[static buzzing]
[WITH THE CHIPMUNKS]
Felix is looking around to make sure everyone is asleep and he's sure they are he gives a brief sigh of relief before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the folded piece of paper he'd found the day before and unravels the ribbon before unfolding the paper and reading it with shock that turns into a smirk
[static buzzing]
Felix:It's a vote block advantage, perfect. [folds paper back up; puts paper in pocket] this could potentially benefit my gameplay if I'm smart with how I use it but I'm already smart so this should be easy.
[static buzzing]
The next morning instead of being awoken with the usual loud airhorn or megaphone they are awoken by the soft sound of chirping birds much to everyone's befuddlement
"What's with the birds?" Janice asks as Fred walks to their shelter
"You guys seemed to be getting used to how I was waking you guys up so I decided to switch it up. Don't get used to this unless you want to wake to something worse or better." Fred says
"Just know that you and the other team should start getting ready and meet me by my cabin in 10!" Fred says before walking off
Monika then walks over to Janice and notices her standing and smiles
"You seem to be doing better today!" Monika says happily to which Janice scoffs
"Thanks." Janice says blankly to which Monika sighs
"You know I just want to make sure you're okay, Janice. Especially after Bianca told me about your injury." Monika says
"I know and I appreciate it. I'm just not good at showing it." Janice says
"It's okay, Janice. Just know I'm always here for you." Monika says as she pulls Janice into a hug to which she finds unexpected before she leans into it
[TIMESKIP:10 MINUTES LATER]
The contestants are all waiting at Fred's cabin but it seems like no one is there
"Did he just call us here to waste our time?" Tiffany asks
"Knowing Fred, he probably did." Felix says before the cabin door opens and Fred walks out
"Sorry about the wait, but I hope you're excited about today's challenge because you guys will each be making soup for me, my co-host and interns to judge and whoever gets the best score wins!" Fred exclaims
"Where are we gonna make our food? We can't make it out here considering how cold it is." Allen asks
"You guys will make it in my kitchen!" Fred exclaims as he then opens the door to his cabin
"Are you sure?" Monika asks
"Certain, also if something goes wrong then I'll just make my interns fix it right up!" Fred exclaims
"Also I already have ingredients and they'll be delivered soon or they may even just drop in right about now!" Fred exclaims and he looks up and notices something seems to be falling from the sky and everyone starts moving out the way except Erin accidentally slips and falls backwards and Leon notices and quickly grabs their arm and pulls them out the way just as the truck lands in front of them
"Right on time, also before you ask any ingredient you can think of right now is in that truck." Fred says
"Noodles, it's in there! Carrots, it's in there! Paprika, it's in there! "And why would we need that?" Harvey asks
"You never know in this game sometimes, now decide what you're making and grab whatever ingredients you need for it." Fred says as the truck's trunk opened and everyone suddenly began fighting with each other for ingredients with people being injured, covered in food, and ingredients going everywhere and a big bag of flour nearly hitting Fred square in the face before he managed to duck at the last second as flour exploded behind him from impact of hitting his cabin and in the midst of it all Carmen had found three sad, lone, wrinkled Carolina Reaper peppers and put them in her pocket while everyone just began to frantically run out with whatever they'd gathered though some stuff like eggs were dropped in the commotion to which Fred sighs
"You guys gotta clean up after this, you know." Fred says with annoyance
[TIMESKIP]
Eventually, they've all cleaned up the mess and themselves and arrived to Fred who opened his door for them and everyone seemed stunned by the internal view of Fred's cabin
"It's much bigger on the inside!" Erin says with awe as they enter the kitchen
"You guys will now decide who will be in charge of selecting what kind of soup you guys will be making and also sabotage is allowed but only if you're subtle with it." Fred says
"But I'll give you a bit of a head start to actually decide what you're making before I expect you to know immediately." Fred says
[WITH THE CHIPMUNKS]
"Does anyone have any ideas?" Izura asks to which no one responds and she sighs
"Well then, if no one is gonna decide then I'll decide for us all. We're making Mulligatawny which is a soup from India and I've helped make it enough I know it at the back of my head." Izura says
"That's fantastic, Iz! And considering you have experience with making this type of soup, I'm positive that we'll win!" Ophelia cheers to which Izura seems flattered until she puts her tough façade back on
"Alright, everyone. Let's get to work." Izura says
[WITH THE SNAKES]
"So, any of us know how to cook?" Allen asks to which only he, Zacharie, and Vance raise their hands to which Allen seems disappointed
"I don't really know how to cook because I've never really needed to." Kelsey says softly
"Yeah, we can tell." Gabrielle retorts to which Kelsey glares at her
"You don't even know how to cook!" Kelsey yells while pointing her finger in Gabrielle's face to which Gabrielle blankly shoos Kelsey's hand away from her
"Well, atleast I'm actually learning how to cook for myself unlike someone who can't do anything because of how privileged they are." Gabrielle says
"Gabs, just leave her alone or you're gonna get voted off because of that attitude of yours." Raytheon says with annoyance while trying to break up the arguement
"Oh, whatever. Even if you did try then it'd be the third time you've done this and it probably won't work again." Gabrielle says
"Do you want to find out for yourself?" Raytheon asks while slightly seathing with anger
"Guys, please calm down. You can have your argue fest later but for now let's just decide what we're gonna make otherwise we won't win the challenge." Carmen says attempting to mediate which works when the 2 back off
"Thank you. And if we don't know what to make why not just make something basic like chicken noodle soup?" Carmen asks to which Allen nods
"Sure, not like we have any other ideas." Allen says to which Carmen cheers to herself
[static buzzing]
Carmen:Damn, Carmen! Look at you stepping up your game a little! [giggles] Maybe if I continue to step up like this people could see my true potential! That'd be wicked!
[static buzzing]
[WITH THE CHIPMUNKS]
Erin is trying to dice a carrot when they notice Bianca looking unhappy and pause their task and turn to her
"Bianca, are you doing alright?" Erin asks
"Why would I tell that to you after what you did?" Bianca asks with anger before she pauses and starts trying to calm down to which Erin seemed guilty
"Bianca, I'm really sorry that I voted for Quincy considering she's your best friend and we had that talk, but I just want you to know that she wasn't my inital choice. I only went along with it because of my alliance. And I know that just a simple apology isn't gonna just magically bring her back into the game but I just figured you needed to hear it because what I'm saying is true and I understand if you'd never forgive me but this was just something I needed to get off my chest." Erin says to which Bianca seemed shocked and she smiled at Erin
"Thank you, Erin. I can tell you mean it and I accept your apology." Bianca says to which Erin smiles back at her before the moment is ruined by Izura
"You can have your moments of camaraderie later but not in the middle of this challenge." Izura says to which the two get back to work while Tiffany keeps glaring at the other team to which Monika notices
"Is something wrong, mi amiga?" Monika asks
"I have a feeling that the other team is gonna try something to sabotage us." Tiffany says
"I can see why'd you think that, but as long as we keep our eyes out for anything that could be seen as potential sabotage then we should be good." Monika says trying to reassure the model which doesn't seem to help much
[static buzzing]
Monika:I wasn't entirely believing of my own encouragement towards Tiffany myself, but maybe if I keep up my optimism I could make myself believe that my words do ring true and hopefully everything will turn out positively dandy! [nervous chuckle; thumbs up]
[static buzzing]
[WITH THE SNAKES]
Carmen was tapping her fingers with boredom on the table and she then remembered those peppers she had in her pocket and pulled one out and just stared at it intensely as if it was gonna grow legs and run off
"Heyyyy!" Someone said causing Carmen to look up and quickly put her hands behind her back only for it to just be Zacharie causing her to sigh in relief
"Oh, hiya, Zach!" Carmen says before chuckling nervously to which Zacharie smirks
"What 'cha got there?" Zacharie asks teasingly
"Oh, I don't have anything." Carmen says, lying through her teeth
Zacharie begins to smirk, "Mhm, sure you don't."
"Why don't you believe me?" Carmen asks
"Because honestly, it's pretty obvious that you're lying." Zacharie says
"Oof, I already figured it was pretty obvious, but hearing that it actually is from someone else makes me feel a bit embarrassed." Carmen says
"You don't need to feel embarrassed, Carmen! I'm your friend and I wouldn't want to be all judgemental towards someone I care so deeply about." Zacharie says to which Carmen smiles at him to which Gabrielle notices and her expression seems to be of hatred
[static buzzing]
Gabrielle:Why is she interacting with that Neanderthal after he quite frankly FLIPPED ON US YESTERDAY?! [shakes head] Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if he flipped on her next. I don't care if we are or were allies, she lost all my respect the minute I saw her acting all buddy-buddy with that snake of a man.
[static buzzing]
"Uh, you good?" Harvey asks causing Gabrielle to look away from the two and towards him instead
Gabrielle sighs, "No, Carmen is interacting with the traitor."
"Not shocked since they are friends, but why are they even still friends considering he betrayed the alliance and her?" Harvey asks to which Gabrielle shrugs
"You tell me, if I were her I'd grab the nearest wooden spoon in here and hit him with it until he apologizes for his terrible deed." Gabrielle says as she grabs a wooden spoon and starts swinging it around until Harvey grabs the spoon from her and puts it back
"But that'd get you voted off and you wouldn't want to be voted off before blueberry, punkass, songbird, or the idiot who ruined this alliance by selling us out would you?" Harvey asks to which Gabrielle shakes her head
"That's what I thought, now we better hope we win this challenge so that way we don't have a losing streak of 3 and because I'm pretty sure one of us will be gone next." Harvey says
"I wish Zacharie wasn't such an idiot, he had the choice to keep our alliance afloat but no, we're divided now and it's all his fault." Gabrielle says bitterly
"Even if he did choose to save the alliance we'd be seen as more threatening and be gunned for constantly until we all presumably get eliminated." Harvey says
"Great, it was always going to be a lose-lose situation. And considering we have no allies anymore, we're practically hopeless, Harvey! Hopeless!" Gabrielle says dramatically
"We're not hopeless, yet. We just need to make sure luck is on our side and we win the challenge." Harvey says to which Gabrielle starts calming down
[WITH THE CHIPMUNKS]
Leon noticed Xander talking to Ophelia and acting all nice to her which seemed to increase his suspicion and Erin seemed to notice and turned to him with confusion
"Hey, you good? You seem a bit stressed." Erin says to which Leon sighs and turns over to the judges
"Can I have a moment to talk with them outside?" Leon asks to which the judges nod causing Leon to quickly grab Erin's hand and bolt out unintentionally bumping Erin into Kelsey who was pouring some seasoning into a teaspoon only for the spoon and seasoning to fly out of her hands and all of it to land into the soup and Allen tried to get it out but it was too late and Allen glared at the two before deciding to get revenge by throwing an apple from the fridge at Ophelia though Xander pushes her out of the way and lets himself get hit instead as Izura then prompts her team to attack while Allen does the same for his though some of the stuff thrown lands in the soups though Felix manages to sneak away from the commotion to follow Erin and Leon
[WITH ERIN AND LEON]
They make it outside and Erin closes the door but it turned out there was still a crack open but they didn't seem to notice
"So, what's up, you want to talk about Xander or something?" Erin asks to which Leon nods
"Yes, I do. You do notice how he's been acting nicer, right?" Leon asks to which Erin nods
"Yeah, it's like he's done a whole 180 after last challenge, but isn't that supposed to be a good thing? He's not a prick anymore, right?" Erin asks
"I don't believe that his whole newfound kindness is genuine, it happened so suddenly and it seems like he's only doing this to keep himself in the game longer not because he actually wants to change into a better person." Leon says to which Erin seemed a bit shocked until they remembered it was Xander they were talking about
"Gee, as if the bozo couldn't be any less. Now he's acting all noble and mighty even though he's anything but." Erin says
"What do you think we should do about it?" Erin asks
"Nothing, yet. We still need to act like we're good with him so he doesn't suspect our distrust towards him, mainly mine but still. We need to make sure he leaves if it's the last thing we do." Leon says
"Yeah!" Erin cheers as they stand and raise their arm
Felix, who had been secretly watching through the crack smirked to himself at what he'd managed to eavesdrop on but his smirk quickly turned to worry as the two were heading towards the door causing Felix to move away from the door and quickly head back to where the two teams were still in battle and quickly snuck back in and started assisting his team
[static buzzing]
Erin:While I may not agree with still having to trust those two, If Leon wants me to do it, then I will. Simple as that and because he's the only person I trust in that alliance and he's cute, even if he doesn't seem to take interest in being my friend. But whatever makes him happy will for sure make me happy! [chuckles]
[static buzzing]

Felix:My, my, what engrossing information I've managed to stumble amongst, what to do it... [chuckles] Oh, who am I kidding? I'm gonna report it to the queen bee of this alliance himself and then he'll surely bestow them with the consequences of their dishonor that may or may not be elimination. But that remains uncertain, for now.
[static buzzing]
During the midst of chaos, Zacharie looked over at Carmen and noticed something in her pocket and sneakily pulled the peppers out of her pocket and grabbed a nearby knife and diced the peppers into bits and snuck towards the other team's soup unnoticed and tossed them in the soup with a smirk on his face
[static buzzing]
Zacharie:Sorry, Carmen. We gotta win somehow and you've managed to bring us some good luck which if you won't use then I will. But you'd understand, right? Besides, there's no hard feelings and we can still be friends at the end of the day. So it's truly no biggie.
[static buzzing]
Everything died down though once Leon entered first with Erin following behind after closing the door behind them only for them to both stand shocked by what had just transpired
They'd heard the door close and turned towards the two, covered in food with intense eyes
"What the freak happened when we left?" Erin asks
"They got into this big food fight and it was pretty intense and sick! You should've been there, besides, your team could've used the helping hands." Fred says before clapping his hands
"Alright, everyone. You must now bring us your soup in four bowls each and whoever has the best soup will win!" Fred exclaims
"Snakes, you're up first, let's see what you guys made!" Fred exclaims and they all seem hesitant but Vance quickly calms down for his team and grabs the wooden spoon Allen was using to mix and started placing it into the bowls before placing them in front of the judges
"Here, please make sure to enjoy thoroughly." Vance says as quickly as he could before stepping away as the judges examine the soup
"Looks a bit bland, honestly." Fred says
"Maybe it's not so bad?" Yuki says trying to lighten the mood to which the other judges seem to nod before all putting some soup in their mouths and seem conflicted
"Could be worse but also could be better, it's fine, just way too much seasoning." Fred says rating the chicken noodle soup 3 stars
"Yeah, thanks to a certain someone." Kelsey says as she shoots a dagger at Leon and Erin to which Erin seems guilty while Leon could care less
"It is a bit overseasoned but I can tell you've definitely put your best efforts into it and it's the thought that counts." Yuki says trying to be nice by rating it 3.5 stars
"Yuki, you know you don't need to sugarcoat it, it's so trash that I'm genuinely surprised you fucked up something as basic as this." Umar says rating it 2 stars
"I was just trying to be nice." Yuki says to which Umar nods
"We know, but judging stuff requires honesty. Otherwise if it's not honest then you're just a liar. Kind, but a liar." Umar says to which Yuki frowns and looks down to which Umar seems a bit guilty
"I don't like it." Mr. Albu bluntly says rating the soup with 2 stars
"And the snakes seem to be in the lead with a grand total of 10.5 stars, can the Chipmunks top it? Let's find out!" Fred exclaims and 4 bowls from the Chipmunks' soup is placed in front of them and they grab a spoonful and put it in their mouths
"Mmm, this is actually really good... and a bit spicy?" Fred says as the hotness begins to kick in causing him to cough
"What did you guys put in this?" Fred asks through coughs
"What is going on?" Izura asks looking at her teammates who seem just as confused while the judges seem to be feeling the effects of the peppers but after drinking some milk, things start to calm down and Fred then speaks up
"After whatever kind of hotness that was put into that thing, not as hot as me though. I don't even think I need to rate this. The Snarky Snakes win." Fred says to which most of the snakes seem happy about their victory while the chipmunks seem annoyed until their celebration is interrupted by Izura's yell
"What is this in here?!" Izura picks up a piece of pepper to examine only to then throw it and start fuming "I know it was one of you who did this so whoever did better own up or I'll come over there and make you confess." Izura says with outrage
The snakes start to look at each other with fear and suspicion until Zacharie looks over and Carmen and gets an idea
"Carmen had the peppers, she showed them to me and told me that she was going to us an easy win and I thought she was joking but if I had known she wasn't, I would've snagged them straight from her." Zacharie says turning to Carmen with practiced sadness
"What?! What are you talking abo-" Carmen asks with mortification though she's cut off by Zacharie adding more onto his lie
"I thought you were my friend, Carmen. But it seems like one of us isn't as honest as they seemed to be." Zacharie says to which Carmen seems alarmed and starts looking around at everyone who seems to be wary and distrusting of her
"N- No, I mean, yes I admit I had the peppers but I swear I didn't put them in there!" Carmen exclaims
"Well then, tell me how they got in there." Izura says firmly to which Carmen gulps
"I don't know how they got in there, I swear! I don't know what happened..." Carmen says, her voice shaking
"Excuses, excuses. We all know you're just trying to save yourself and it's not working. And you better be glad your team won because if they didn't, your sorry ass would be G-O-N-E, GONE." Tiffany says to which Carmen looks down with sadness as everyone walks away with Xander shooting a quick smirk before laughing at her
[static buzzing]
Xander:Looks like the dummy isn't actually so dumb after all, and her team name describes her perfectly considering she truly is nothing but a snarky little vindictive snake. [laughs maniacally to himself]
[static buzzing]
Carmen notices Vance hadn't left and turns to him with her eyes full of tears
"Why aren't you leaving with them?" Carmen asks to which Vance sighs
"Because, I don't think you were the one who did the trick but rather it was someone else, someone you think you know." Vance says to which Carmen raises an eyebrow
"What do you mean by that?" Carmen asks while wiping away her tears
"You and Zacharie are close, right?" Vance asks
"Yeah, but what's that gotta do with anything?" Carmen asks
"If you and him really are so close, then why did he immediately shift the blame onto you when the act was exposed?" Vance asks to which Carmen seems confused before her eyes widen in realization
"So you mean that Zacharie was the one who did it and he pinned it on me to avoid the blame?" Carmen asks unable to comprehend what she just said
"But why would he do that to me when I'm his friend?" Carmen asks to which Vance sighs
"That I don't have the answer to yet, you never know with that guy but I know you're innocent and that's all that matters." Vance says to which Carmen seems to cheer up and hugs Vance taking him aback before he awkwardly pats her shoulder
"Come on, we should be heading back to our shelter." Vance says
"But what if they start acting hostile towards me because of what they think I did?" Carmen asks nervously
"You can stick with me, besides, you don't need to surround yourself with that negative energy otherwise it won't do anything other than make you feel more negative." Vance says
"You know what, Vance? I'd like that, I'd like it a lot." Carmen says to which Vance smiles at her and the two walk off
[static buzzing]
Carmen:I'm glad I still have someone who believes me but if Zacharie was lying about that then what else could he have lied about?
[static buzzing]
[AT THE CHIPMUNKS SHELTER]
Felix is walking and notices Xander trying to talk to Monika but she was already walking away with a expression of wariness from him so Felix takes this as a chance to talk to Xander and clears his throat, letting the other guy know his presence
"Hello, Xander. I have something important to tell you regarding our alliance." Felix says to which Xander seems annoyed
"What do you want?" Xander asks as he forcefully plucks a white flower from the ground that Monika had tended to, twirling it between his fingers
"I managed to overhear tweedle lee and tweedle geek talking about how they don't trust you and how they are planning to ditch this alliance as soon as possible." Felix says to which Xander's eye twitches before he crushes the flower with his fist
"You better be telling the truth or I'm gonna shove a branch so far up your ass it'll come out your mouth." Xander threatens to which Felix chuckles
"You really aren't fooling anyone with your nice act, you know." Felix says mockingly to which Xander sighs in defeat
"Whatever, just we need to make sure to get rid of one of them as soon as possible, I'm thinking the one with the black hair. He never really seemed to trust me." Xander says
"I'm not sure about the possibility of anyone other than you being the first voted out of this alliance." Felix says
"Anything is possible, we just need a few people to convince and we should be perfectly fine." Xander says
"Let's see if that nice act can do something good for you. I mean, you already have Ophelia trusting you so whatever you did to make that happen then please do it again." Felix says to which Xander confidently smirks
"Oh, you know it." Xander says arrogantly before the loud speakers start blaring
"Everyone, report to the ceremony. Not just the Chipmunks, I mean everybody! Now get moving and quick!" Fred exclaims to which the chipmunks seem confused
[static buzzing]
Ophelia:Everyone? He's never done something like this in the 8 days we've been here... oh, this must be something urgent like an emergency or something, oh no! I hope it's nothing too awful.

[AT THE CEREMONY]
"I know you're all wondering about why both teams are here, but do you guys wanna hear the good news or even greater news first?" Fred asks with enthusiasm
"Uhm, the good news?" Erin asks
"The good news is, it's a non elimination round! Huzzah!!!" Fred cheers to which the Chipmunks seem happy while the Snakes are disappointed
"Okay, but what about this 'greater news' you're talking about, what's that about?" Bianca asks
"The greater news is because it's a team shuffle, meaning some members of your team will stay the same while others will change in order to create new dynamics that will give you a great benefit or set a major drawback if you make merge." Fred says
"But enough of that, let's assign you to your new team or see if it remains the same, boring!" Fred says
"Here are the updated members of your teams, starting with the Chilling Chipmunks with Xander, Felix, Erin, Carmen, Janice, Raytheon, Allen, Zacharie, and Harvey." Fred says to which some contestants seem upset to be split up from people they are close to while Xander and Felix smirk to each other while Erin and Leon share looks of terror
"And now the Snarky Snakes with Izura, Leon, Ophelia, Bianca, Kelsey, Gabrielle, Vance, Monika, and Tiffany." Fred says to which Carmen looks down with a frown while Vance gives her a sympathetic look
"Hope you guys are happy with your new-ish arrangements and if you aren't then too bad, so sad and stay mad!" Fred says while laughing to which the contestants stare with concern while also cringing and it was so bad even Mr. Albu facepalms
[static buzzing]
Mr. Albu:This is the guy I have to work for to provide for not only my wife but my kids, by the way.
Fred (from outside the shed):Yes, I know I'm funny. Complain again and I'm taking another dollar off your already low paycheck.
Mr. Albu:[sighs] What has my life come to...

Fred brushes imaginary dirt off his clothes, "Whew, that sure was fun but you know what'd be more fun? Another elimination which will thankfully be happening on the next, all new episode of Battle. Of. Ambition!" Fred exclaims, walking back towards his cabin's open door and closing it once he enters as the episode ends
