Kanae
* Since Kanae survived the encounter with Douma in this au, she's 21.
* The person who saved her from Douma was Sanemi, along with Gyomei.
* Her and Sanemi got together at the age of 17, and married at the age of 19.
* She is 165 cm tall (5"5) and weights 70 kg. Before getting pregnant she weighed 55kg.
* She quit the corps in her 4th month, since they found out pretty late on.
* Her reputation in the corps got damaged after leaving, since some believed she "abandoned her duties" (cookie cant ever rest fr)
* She keeps in touch with most of the other hashira (except for Giyuu, Obanai, and Muichiro)
* She's good friends with Mitsuri, Lady Amane and Hinatsuru, as well as a lot of female corps members.
* She regularly visits the butterfly mansion. She's also going to give birth there.
* Kanae is a huge fan of small trinkets like decorative plates, wind chimes and wooden animal figurines.
* She's a shintoist, while Sanemi is a buddhist. That difference doesn't bother them. Kanae is more religious than her husband.
* She gets sick often.
* Despite her modesty, Kanae is big into fashion. She loves putting outfits together. She's also a fan of western fashion.
* Her hobbies are baking, reading, watching animals, studying medicine and sewing.
* Kanae gets insecure easily, but doesn't let that show.
* She has warm hands.
* Her favourite treat is tayaki.
* Her favourite flowers are orchids.
Sanemi
* Hes an albino (to some extent)
* He has freckles.
* He has a hooked nose
* His hair is really dry and damaged, but he doesn't care.
* He has a major sweet-tooth.
* Sanemi is very insomniac. He has a completly messed up sleep schedule.
* He loves buying gifts for his wife, Kanae loves receiving them.
* Because he can't write, he makes his kasugai crow remember his words and deliver them to the person he wants to. Sorai (his crow) has great memory.
* Sanemi is a confrontation type of person, while Kanae just lets things go.
* Sometimes he brings stray dogs into their estate.
* Due to a promise he made to Kanae, Sanemi doesn't SH as much as he does in canon. (yes, cutting yourself for battle purposes is STILL SH.)
* He has very bad eyesight, but refuses to wear glasses.
* His skin is very dry. His lips are almost always chapped, and he bites his nails.

* he hates being touched by strangers, but loves when his loved ones do it. (especially Kanae)
* He has a very slight preference for curvier girls.
* He constantly snaps his knuckles, pops his neck and wrists.
* Sanemi not only has low iron, but also gets dizzy easily from sleep depravation. (EDITED)
