Whoever could string the old king's bow
And shoot through twelve axes cleanly.
WIll be the new king sit down on the throne, ParrotX2 as his partner.
The suitors still there, it's was almost midnight. Some was enjoying drinking wine and the food from the servants made. While the others was still trying to use that damn old bow. Since this morning, no one could even put the string, it's like they don't have the power.
But some didn't mind tho, they're more focus on the delicious food that already served for them in the table, telling stories of each other or laugh at those.. unfunny jokes. Like the only funny it here was how they believe that they could take the throne.
But, one eyes watching the rest. A man standing there with sharp lookin eyes, but a grin on his face. Slowly, he stand up and walking towards the suitors that holding the bow. LettuceK, was his name. With proud, he take the bow out of that suitor hand.
"Screw this competition, we've been here for hours. No one could string this, we don't have the power─"
LettuceK throw the bow, hitting at someone who sitting in the corner shadow. He didn't care where it hit tho, lettuceK walk towards the table, place his hand rough before continue:
"Screw this damn challenge, no more delays. Can't you all see we're being played by him?"
That words, enough making the other suitors look at him. Wondering what is behind those words. LettuceK notice that, "This is how they hold us down while the throne was getting colder, and we all slowly age."
"And don't you see? Theo, was getting bolder, he's getting stronger and make us more hard to get the throne. What if, King ParrotX2 decide to choose him instead us?"
It's not a question, but like a discovery on their eyes. Some men there looking at each other, whispering something as LettuceK smile getting wider.
"Hear me. Where the hell is our pride and our rage? Letting him tricking us for years , saying 'oh, i will choose a new king after finishing my shroud~' bullshit thing. But hear me, brothers. Here and now.. I have a plans for us to take control. A chance for us to take.. action"
LettuceK open his arms like inviting them to his plans. Oh, that look on their faces.. Like they just discovering a top secret on this world, feeling like get betrayed by the royalty. LettuceK walk back and sit on the throne, yes.. Wifies throne was indeed cold.
"Then, what is your plans, lettuceK? It's not like we could hurt the king. He have his.. Bodyguard following him."
One suitor asked. It's seem they haven't notice that Theo wasn't in this kingdom right now. LettuceK lean his back on the throne, laugh a bit , putting his elbow on the side of throne.
"Oh? Haven't you noticed who's missing? Don't you know that annoying cockatiel hybird is not around? Welp. I heard he's on.. diplomatic mission. But not like the old king─
He's actually coming back to the town today, maybe before morning. So, hear me out loud and clear, brothers."
He stand up from the throne. LettuceK take one glass of wine, spinning it around softly.
"I say, we gather near beaches. We wait until he's arrived there. While the some was stay inside this castle, put drunk on that .. Guards in front of king ParrotX2 bedroom.
When he docks his ship, we could breach it. When we finally could strike him."
He said, his planning was.. To killed Theo before he could reach ParrotX2. And the planning, was smart too. Without Theo, ParrotX2 was don't have his strongest protector. When they able to make the guards down too, that when they could moves to next plane.
"We hold him down, until that cockatiel bird stop shaking. Break his pride, his trust, his faith and his bones. Steal his gear and start cutting him off. Before we throw his body to the ocean."
LettuceK explain more, with the excitement on his voice. He take a sip on his wine. Imagine the victory they got from killing Theo. "When his.. majesty wonders the guards is. Only the ocean and us will know!"
Those voice raising, as lifting up his glass of wine a bit higher. Didn't realize an eyes watching his every move right now. The rest of suitors nodding in agreement. They had confidence that they might wins since they have gears and fight unfair. Before─
"But brothers, i know how deep your desire for our beloved majesty too. I could see it through your eyes.
And that's why. When the deed is done. The king will have no one too─stop us from breaking his bedroom door, or even stop us from taking his love and more."
The main, plan. They going to bring ParrotX2 to some.. play time, first. sure, doesn't have your partner around for years bring you to desperate for a little touch.
"And then we'll, hold him down. While we break his gates open.. Get the taste we waiting too long. We going to, shares his spoils.
Don't even think to leave any parts go to waste."
It's disgusting, really. But they've been waiting for too long. Beside, ParrotX2 already used, no need to act gentle or too polites for that. One suitor stand up, already thinking that LettuceK was a genius.
"Here and now, we finally can takes control! I have enough of patience just to married with used partner. It's not like he a virgin or anything."
"Yeah, who does he think he was? That old king probably death too. He was too delusional to believe that his 'strongs, smarty ass' husband to come back."
"Well, even if he alive, sure he found new one already. Like, many hot chicks around this world! Why would you want with someone that you already used?"
More and more starting to stand up, giving their own opinion, but one think they agreeing for. It's was.. LettuceK's Plan. They going to take control, not letting to follow the rules that was created. Thinking, a married one was already used, why must follow the strict rules like he's young and healthy?
LettuceK was smiling, his plans was so easy going. Knowing that these man was a jerk inside their mind. Not hard to convince them to do something disgusting toward someone that still count as 'Human being'.
"Heh.. Glad to know that we have one point. We get played so long.. And it's time for us to turn the tables back to them."
He said proudly and full of pride. Knowing this, he could finally be coming the leader.. And takes the crown─

An arrow.. Hitting right on LettuceK neck, right on his vital. Make him immediately fall to the ground, make the eyes of the suitors wide in horror. who.. Who was it..? Then all eyes straight to someone who was holding the old king bow. Not only manage to string it, but also.. Killed LettuceK on the spot.
Who.. is he?
