Chapter Text
We cut to Stacy and Candace in The Flynn-Fletcher household in Candace’s bedroom. Stacy is attempting to maintain a conversation but Candace is clearly distracted by whatever the boys are doing as she leans out the window; despite her friend’s clear lack of presence Stacy continues to speak to Candace “...so anyway then Coletrain sai-”
“Phineas and Ferb!!!”
Stacy sighed at being once again interrupted by Candace’s busting obsession; however, before she was able to make a quip about her services no longer being required, Stacy got a very loud notification on her phone as her screen lit up red with lettering reading “DISTRESS SIGNAL FROM AGENT P”
Stacy panicked as she tried to hide her phone from Candace, who was fortunately fully distracted by her brothers at this point. Alright Stacy, you’ve gotta play this cool “Sorry Candace I’ve gotta take this call from my err… doctor! Yes my doctor, who is also my mom, yes my mom doctor… anyway gotta go bye!” Candace completely ignores her during her excuse; Nailed it! Stacy thinks to herself as she enters the upstairs bathroom.
A distant “you’re going down” can be heard from Candace as Stacy closes the bathroom door before finally answering Perry’s call; but when the video feed comes up it’s completely static and Stacy can’t hear anything
“Hello, Perry?”
Before Stacy can begin to panic, the static cuts out and is replaced by video from inside the OWCA headquarters as Carl comes onscreen “Oh uh… hello there teenage girl, I forgot that Agent P gave you his number”
“Carl?! What’s going on? and why isn’t Major Monogram the one doing this?”
Then Monty appears onscreen next to Carl “My dad’s on sick leave so Carl was filling in for him…”
“Vanessa’s boyfriend?!”
“Oh hi Stacy, it’s kinda iffy between me and Vanessa right now since our dads just found out about our relationship”
“Oh that makes sense, y’know I probably should’ve guessed you worked for OWCA considering who your dad is…”
“Alright, it’s very nice that you already know each other but all the animal agents have been turned into babies!” Carl interrupts mildly hysterically
“Babies?”
“Carl’s right, and he’s not exaggerating for once. This would be easier to explain at headquarters, where are you right now?”
“I’m in Candace’s house, upstairs bathroom”
“Carl, is there a secret entrance there? Preferably one that’s human sized”
“Uh yeah, just twist the rightmost lightbulb 90 degrees”
Stacy twists the lightbulb and suddenly the bathtub splits in half revealing a chute
“Nice job, that tunnel should lead straight to HQ” Carl continues
“Alright” Stacy jumps in the tube and is awed by the vast underground transport network. Before long Stacy arrives at the OWCA headquarters and is greeted by the sight of many brown fedoras strewn across the floor as well as many baby animals which she assumes are the agents.
“Woah, Carl wasn’t kidding”
Carl and Monty then round the corner of one of the cubicles to continue talking to Stacy
“Yeah it we’re really hanging out on a limb here” Monty responds
“Do you know if they can still understand us?”
“I tried to speak with some of the agents, but none of them seemed to understand what I was saying” Carl chimes in “or at least they lacked the motor function to give a response”
“We’re pretty sure that their memories were also reverted back to when they were babies”
“Okay, so the agents won’t be any help” Stacy took a moment to think “Do we have any leads on how this might have happened?”
“Not really, all we know is that Agent P sent out that distress signal right before it happened”
“Well then let’s start there. What was Perry’s last location?”
“Well, he was still at Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated when the distress signal went out”
“Of course” Carl says excitedly “we should have known that Doofenshmirtz was involved with this; quickly, to the Carlmobile!”
Monty facepalms before retorting “Carl, the Carlmobile is a golf cart and, last I checked, is not street legal”
“Well then how do you suggest we get there Mr. My Father Loves Me”
“We have a jet, Carl” Monty says, completely deadpan
“Alright, well then, to the jet!” Monty and Stacy both don their agent fedoras before running off toward the hangar; Carl follows behind mumbling “why won’t the major let me have a fedora”
They all run up the ramp and board the jet where Stacy and Monty both take their seats before Stacy says “So one of you knows how to fly this thing, right?”
“Yeah, Carl’s flown it before” Monty says, turning to Carl
“Well, the only time I’ve piloted this jet was when I was evil… but I think I still remember the controls” Carl takes his place in the pilot’s seat and grabs the controls before powering up the jet and beginning the take off sequence. As the jet leaves the hangar, one of the wings scrapes against the exit, creating a loud screeeeech “whoops!” Carl says, adjusting the controls.
“I should have just stayed with Candace” Stacy says sarcastically as they head out towards DEI.
