Riddle got a ping from his phone and after checking it he turned to Jade. “We have to distract them for a while. I'll take them to the equestrian club stables, just back up whatever I say.” "Got it.” replied Jade before following Riddles out of the bush they were hiding in.
Sebek and Malleus turn the corner only to bump into Riddle and Jade. Sebek shoots a protective hand in front of Malleus as they recover from the sudden collision.
"Sebek, just the person we want to see!” Jade says after getting up. "Floyd made a mess at the stables while attempting to feed Vorpal and he just ran away.” Riddle states after getting up with the help of Jade.
“WHY WOULD I HELP YOU AFTER YOU ALMOST HURT MY LIEGE HUMAN!?” Sebek shouts back at an extremely loud volume. “We asked Silver first but he was busy and said to ask you” Jade said.
Sebek loosened up a bit upon hearing Silver's name but he kept his hand in front of Malleus (his oshi😜). Malleus suddenly spoke after being silent during the whole interaction. “We should go and help them.” Malleus stated "But My Liege they almost made you fall and hit the ground!?” Sebek rebutted. "Merely falling would not have hurt me in any way. And besides I felt like visiting the stables today anyway.”
Jade placed a hand on his chest and began to speak. “Thank you Malleus and Sebek. I should go and get Floyd out of the stables so he stops making a mess.” Jade says calmly before giving Riddle a subtle wink and going ahead.
Riddle knew Floyd wasn't at the stables but helping set up the party so Jade must've gone on ahead to make a very Floyd sized mess to keep their story believable. Riddle turned back to Malleus and Sebek gesturing for them to follow him as they walk down the hallway towards the stables.
