Chapter Text
The wind howled outside of HQ.
Thunder and lightning flashed across the land.
A bang here and a bang there.
The rain danced at the glass of builderman chamber.
“Tip, tap, tip, tap”
That’s how it sounded like.
There was an earthly fresh aroma that circled HQ.
Rain was a beautiful thing. Something that should be cherished. But not many people do so. Most find rain to be an inconvenience. A hassle. Something to be annoyed by. But they understand how much of an impact even just a couple drops of rain can do to this god forsaken world. Now that’s not fair, is it?
Because one day it might stop.
And never come back again.
Buildermans chamber was dark, only illuminated by his “computer” better known as a “GUI”.
The only noise in the office being the soft hum of the servers.
The chamber looked almost even more beautiful in the rain than with the sun.
Builderman had been clicking away at his GUI for hours without break. He had reached a flow state at this point. He was looking around in the GUI to look for the best server to build his next creation in.
After a moment or two, a loud “poof” was heard in the chamber.
A shimmering white fine powder popped into existence, covering every surface of the chamber. Though when it made contact with the marble floors or the glass chairs it almost instantly “popped” out of existence.
Well it did didn’t exactly pop out of existence, more like a blue glow surrounded the powder before it seemingly disappeared.
Through the power stepped out a black figure.
The god of magic.
Dusekkar.
“Greetings old pal and bud. Quite a warm weather we have above. Thunder and lightning go hand and hand. Beautiful booms and bangs”
The pumpkin headed man said.
“I don’t quite agree so. A thunderstorm isn’t the most..delightful weather, to say the least.”
“Rains a gold. Drop it goes. Mother of plants and father of us. Feeds the bugs aswell as us. Plants sprout and grow. Best for potions to grow”
“Yes, but it’s quite a hassle. It takes longer than I’d like for me to clear out the sky’s when I need to build.”
“For is that a valid reason?”
“It is an valid explanation. Now what brings you here Dusekkar?”
Builderman questioned as his gaze traveled up to face the pumpkin headed man.
“For I request-“
Before the mage managed to complete his statement a loud bang was heard right behind the all mighty Builderman.
His head snapped back only to relax moments later when it was seen that it was just his good old pal.
Erik
The god of peace.
The god of nature.
“Ah! Sorry, have I interrupted anything important? My dearest apologies my friends”
“No worries Erik. What was thee saying again?”
“Ah, it’s nothing too important. I was just requesting for some of the ingredients for potions. Now Erik what did thee want to say?” The mage asked as he floated over to the gods.
“Hm, well as you all are aware of we’ve been working quite hard lately..”
Erik explained as the god and mage nodded.
“..for I was wondering if both of you would accept going for a little picnic”
“I would accept but I’d rather not use my alt today”
“I agree with thee. Going out won’t fulfill your plea. The rain shall fall and thunder shall rawr.”
“Well, the weather nor alts shall be a problem my friends! I have quite a smart idea, if I do say so myself.”
“Must I ask, but how Erik? I understand I am able to control the weather but it’s always an hassle. Takes too much time and effort”
“Well remember thy hill? The great hill of starting? The one where Robloxia was first sprouted out of nothing ness?”
The god and mage nodded slowly, trying to understand the deity’s words.
“For that hills only weather is bright and sunny. If we arrive at sunset it would be the absolute perfect weather!” The deity said enthusiastically as he leaned on buildermans desk.
“Apologies, but times running out. The sun shall say it’s goodbyes. So we better leave or we’ll be in quite a hurry! 6:00 pm!” Dusekkar exclaimed.
“We shall hurry before its too late”
“Well I suppose that leaving my work for an evening shall not be a problem”
“Great! Builderman I request you to call Telamon. Me and Dusekkar shall teleport there to place food while thee can call Telamon”
Builderman hesitated for a moment. He and Telamon had a rocky relationship to say the least. Some days they would tolerate one another, like builderman preening telamons wings. Others…well, they would often compete. Who was better at what. As well as being a bit..physically at times and overall just finding one another both annoying and amusing.
They got into “arguments” often. Builderman dislikes Telamon and Telamon had mutual feelings. They only tolerated one another due to the deal they made all those years ago. Neither of them “hate” eachother, just somewhat dislike. That’s at least what they tell themselves and it’s probably true.
“I would rather not call that handsome fool. It’s better if he doesn’t appear for there shall be less cocky-ness. He’s a hassle.”
“Please, my friend. You are aware that it wouldn’t be the same without him”
…
Silence for a bit before builderman grumbled something about “he has such foolishness” before spitting out a rough.
“Fine.”
“My deepest appreciation. Now shall we leave? The suns saying is goodbyes and birds hoot and flee.”
Erik nodded before he used his GUI to teleport to the hill, Dusekkar doing the same but instead casting a spell using his large wand. He spined it around in the air exactly three times before slamming it on the floor with a loud “thud”. The most bright light appeared for just a split second before vanishing. The light was blinding, enough to make a god wince and mortals to disintegrate into thin air.
Builderman sighed and made a signal with his hands to make the GUI appear. He scrolled down until he found the button labeled as “contacts”. He double tapped the button, which showed every robloxian in robloxia. He typed “Koprophagos” into the search bar as he named Telamon that in the contact. Koprophagos was a word that ment “shit eater” (ancient Greece) . He tapped the contact and called Telamon.
“Ring, ring”
“Ring, ring”
The call rang twice before an annoying voice called out.
“Greetings builderman~ what does thee require?Builderman doesn’t call Telamon unless something’s required.”
“Greetings as well Telamon. Erik, me and Dusekkar are arriving to the “great hill of starting” and requested me to invite you. I’d rather you not come yet Erik and Dusekkar would appreciate it.”
“Hmmmm, Telamon shall come. What time shall Telamon arrive?”
“Right now. Now arrive soon”
Builderman said gruffly as he cut off the call. He exited “contacts” and scrolled till he found “quardinates” and entered the numbers of the great hill of starting. He felt his arms and legs get lighter. His head felt like it was spinning. The world around him twisted and turned into spirals and cubes. He heard TV static in his ears. Different colors splashed around the chamber, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The feeling what when you hit your funny bone except evrywhere in your entire body. It felt all fuzzy then everything went black.
Then everything came back, pixel, by pixel. He was in a different setting now. He was at the top of the great hill of starting. Erik and Dusekkar had summoned a picnic blanket, which had the stereotypical red and white checker pattern. A stereotypical picnic basket sat on the right hand corner of the blanket. The grass was a yellowish-green tint and there were a few flowers around the place. Red roses, yellow tulips, blue violets and the most beautiful of them all in my opinion were the moon flowers.
The sky was painted in beautiful, reds, oranges, and yellows. Something that resembled SFOTH. That’s what builderman thought almost immediately, it was where Telamon would usually be. It creeped him out just a bit that it was ALWAYS sunset there. Telamon always said it was for “dramatic effect”, just a load of bullshit.
Erik and Dusekkar sat on the middle of the blanket, looks like it could fit 5 people comfortably. They were talking about work, the Robloxians who worship them, the different sacrifices they get and much, much more. Every god had a temple but telamons was the one that was most widely known. As well as the biggest, just barely bigger than buildermans and Telamon will never let him live that down.
“Greetings builder, it seems like you’ve hit a bolder. What’s the matter?”
“Ah, nothing Dusekkar. Now
, Telamon shall be arriving quite soon”
“Telamon has heard their name~”
“Telamon! How is thee doing?” Erik asked enthusiastically as he shoved a sandwich, with cheese, tomatoes, onions and salad down his throat.
“Whoa, whoa calm down Erik. You might choke on thy sandwich”
“The builder is right. Don’t say your goodbyes. Even though we’re immortal we’ll still all fly”
Erik let out a chuckle before patting at a spot on the blanket where the god and deity could sit.
It was right in front of Dusekkar and Erick. The telamon and builderman nodded before sitting at the spot right next to each other.
Neither of them complained about it. They were gods. Not some whiny kids complaining about something stupid. And they didn’t hate one another. Just dislike. And that was enough.
Dusekkar picked up a sandwich and put it through his flaming pumpkin head. He held it there for a moment or two before taking his hand out without the sandwich. The four of them always found it amusing when demigods, immortals and half gods first saw how Dusekkar ate and drank.
None of them really even enjoyed sandwiches but they still ate it. Probably since it was more practical for picnics. The four of them had much higher standards, I mean they got offerings from mortals every day.
Time passed by. Sounds of laughter filled the air. The picnic basket had ran out of food once but Dusekkar re filled it. Telamon was making everyone laugh, practically the whole time. Even made builderman crack up. As time passed Dusekkar left to tend to his potions. Erik Telamon and Builderman remained, chatting like there was no tomorrow. But eventually Erik too left, leaving just Telamon and Builderman.
The sun had set and you could see the MilkyWay up above. It was the most beautiful sight known to robloxian kind. There was a beautiful aroma of the moon flowers that filled the air. Telamon was looking straight up at the constellations.
“What? Thy is acting like it’s thy’s first time seeing the Milky Way.” Builderman chuckled out, just being a bit teasing.
Telamon turned to face the god before answering simply.
“Hm, telamons finding all the constellations.”
“You can name them?”
“Yes, Telamon can. Observe. That one up there is the constellation ‘zoë nightshade’. See?”
The deity pointed up showing a constellation of what looked like a girl running while shooting bows. It was much brighter than the other stars near by it.
“Hm, pretty impressive” the god complemented. The smell of rain started coming, it had probably started raining again.
“The smell of rain is pretty..unpleasant”
“You think so? Telamon thinks that rain’s aroma is quite delightful. It brings peace to Telamon. What about thee?”
“It brings a sense of discomfort to me. It’s just my personal opinion but I feel like rain is overrated. I prefer the sun. It’s bright and vibrant.”
“The sun isn’t ideal for Telamon. It’s a hassle having light beam down while on SFOTH. The light beams straight into Telamons eyes. Makes it difficult to fight.”
“For is that a valid reason?”
“It’s a valid explanation”
“It’s getting quite late. I shall head out now. Good night Telamon”
“Good night to thee as well. Telamon shall also leave.”
The god and deity both got up. Builderman used his GUI and teleported away while Telamon snapped his fingers and watched as the picnic basked and blanket arupted into flames for exactly 5 seconds before the flames went out and there was nothing left.
Telamon felt a bit tired so instead of flying back to the very top of the heights, he instead snapped once and he arupted in flames, though it didn’t hurt. Everything changed pixel by pixel till he blacked out. Then everything came back in a spiral. He was on the top of the heights, somewhere where mortals couldn’t see since it was so high up.
He was on a cliff with a house on it. It looked pretty cozy yet oddly uncomfortable. Like something was missing. Telamon had gotten used to that by now. Now he better rest, it’s pretty late.
Though he’ll admit it.
Today was pretty nice.
