"Another one woke up Jupiter!" Sun squealed.
"h-huh, w-what woke up Sun?" Jupiter asked as he lazily woke up.
He rubbed his eyes to see Sun cradling another rocky planet that seemed to have woken up.
The last few days have been busy,
Sun has been watching over the new rocky planets that were sleeping in their orbits.
Jupiter has been keeping a strong grip on the Asteroid Belt, making sure nothing flies out.
Saturn kept an eye on Uranus, who seemed to still be passed out in his orbit.
And Neptune has been guarding the Kuiper Belt, making sure nothing hurts his cousin.
"Another one woke up", Sun repeats as Jupiter sits up and takes a look at the newborn planet.
Jupiter yawned and saw that this newborn planet was very small, maybe the smallest.
Wait! Not quite, the smallest one was the planet orbiting close to Sun, still in a deep slumber.
"Aww, it's so cute!" Sun squeals as he pokes the tiny planet's nose.
Jupiter heard a small giggle escape the little planet's mouth as he gently moved out from his orbit to see Sun.
"So what are you going to name this one, Sun?" He asked.
Sun hummed and gently smiled at the small planet,
"...Mars", He says as the small planet that sat in his hand snuggled into his fingers.
Jupiter watched Sun smiling at the small planet as it seemed to fall asleep,
"That's a nice name", He says.
Sun hums as he places the sleeping planet back in its orbit.
A couple of years passed,
And all the rocky planets have woken up,
Jupiter shortly found out the names of each rocky planet.
The closest one to the sun was named Mercury. He was the smallest out of the 5 rocky planets, he had small wings, was quite energetic and was quite close to Sun.
Next, there was Venus, who was quite bigger than Mercury, he was probably one of the tallest planets out of the 5. He was quite loud and outgoing, and his surface shortly seemed to be decorated with blue and orange details. From Sun, he said it was some sort of form of life.
Then there was the only female in the rocky planet group, Theia, she was one of the smaller planets, maybe the second smallest out of the 5. Jupiter hadn't heard much about her, all he knew was that she was close to Venus and she was just as energetic and outgoing as he was.
The next planet that came after Theia, Jupiter didn't really know, all he knew was that the planet had an active surface and seemed to very much stand out from the others.
Then lastly was Mars, he was also one of the smallest, maybe the same height as Theia, he was also close to Venus, but he was quite shy and silent.
"Jupiter?" Saturn's voice calls.
The bigger planet turned away from the asteroid belt and faced the golden planet.
"Yes, Saturn? What's wrong?" He asked as he noticed the worried look.
"Um... " She trailed off, unsure how to put words into place.
Jupiter watched her stammer before she finally spoke,
"It's Uranus, he has woken up", She says.
The gas giant's eyes went wide before he went straight to the icy giant's orbits.
As Jupiter approached Uranus' orbit, he saw Neptune holding the icy giant close.
Neptune shortly looked up and shook his head,
"He doesn't want to be bothered right now", He says.
"Is he alright? He has been asleep for a while now," Jupiter asks.
"He's fine, he's just had a hit to the head", Neptune says.
Jupiter sighs,
"Just let me know when he is feeling alright so that we can tell Sun," He says.
Neptune nods,
Shortly, Jupiter went back to his orbit, keeping the belt in check.
He watched the other small rocky planets play around,
He saw Mercury talk to Sun, they seemed to be having a calm chat.
Then there was Theia, Mars and Venus all playing a card game.
And....
Wait, there was one missing.
Jupiter felt panic hit him instantly as his eyes searched for the lava planet.
Most of the time, that lava planet would have his eyes glued to the asteroid belt, constantly curious.
That's when Jupiter spotted the lava planet just further away, holding a couple of asteroids in his hands.
He sighed in relief,
"You watching Proto Earth?" Saturn suddenly asked, scaring Jupiter.
He jumped,
"Saturn! I didn't see you there. When did you get here?" He asked.
The golden planet giggled and stood next to her lover,
"Sorry, I shouldn't have scared you, I just got here and noticed your eyes on one of the rocky planets", She says as she places a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, um, I thought that planet went missing for a second", He says.
"Proto Earth? Well, to be fair, he does go inside the belt from time to time," Saturn explains.
"Proto Earth?" Jupiter questions,
"That's his name, did you not know?" His lover asked.
Jupiter shook his head,
"No, I didn't know", He admits.
There was a long pause before Jupiter spoke up.
"Do you know much about Proto Earth?" He asked.
Saturn hummed,
"Not much, but I notice that he is by himself", She says.
"Huh? Why don't the others talk to him?" Jupiter asked.
Saturn shrugged,
"I don't know, but him being alone makes me feel bad", She says.
"Maybe you could keep him company, go have a talk", Jupiter suggests.
"Hmm, maybe I should!" Saturn says, but a sudden cry disrupted the conversation.
"What was that!?" Jupiter asked,
He turned to Saturn, who groaned.
"Sorry that must be Titan" She says and then turns around and grabs something before holding it in her arms.
"Titan?" Jupiter questioned.
Saturn blushed,
"He's one of my new moons, just newly formed" She says.
"You have moons?" Jupiter asked,
Saturn shrugged,
"I mean I thought Neptune and Uranus were the only ones who have them, but I guess not" She says.
Titan's crying soon got louder which grabbed Saturn's attention,
"Ahh, Titan, it's okay" She says as she rocks the little moon in her arms.
"I guess I have to go and calm Titan down, we'll talk later alright?" Saturn says as she tries to stop Titan's cries.
Jupiter nods as he watched Saturn move to her orbit.
He exhales and looked out as his gaze fixes on the lava planet playing with some asteroid.
