Phoenix’s pov
After getting caught by ash and Larry he couldn’t believe the lack of tact ash had, Larry sure he expected it even but ash no way Jose, she was the level headed on of the group always telling them when they were being stupid though he also wondered what was edgeworth and him are they lovers or just friends? Ugh phoenix was gonna get a headache if he kept thinking about it.
Outsider pov
Phoenix was zoned out so ash hit him in the back of the head
“Ow, ashhhhh” Phoenix whined
“You were zoning out idiot” ash replied to his whine
”oh, didn’t notice”
“OF COURSE YOU DIDNT NOTICE YOU IDIOT” Ash quite literally screamed
“holy shit” Larry said picking his ears a bit remind me not to make you scream”
”you shouldn’t be making me do that in the first place” ash replied calmly and smoothly

phoenix ran to catch up with edgeworth
“EDGEWORTH” he said trying to catch his attention
“yes wright?” Edgeworth replied
“what are we?” Phoenix asked like are we dating or are we still just friends?”
edgeworth looked like he fuckin blue screened because of the question
ash came running from across the hall “are you are you!?” Ash asked like a overexcited puppy
”well I would hope so seeing I had my tongue down his throat.” Phoenix replied
“EWWWWW” ash said covering her ears I didn’t want to hear that”
”I guess we are wright.” Ah…. looked like edgeworth finally came back online
“thank god cause’ I have loved you since we first met at 9” phoenix said
“Really?” Edgeworth asked
“indeed” Phoenix replied
“oh yeah he kept talking about you after finding out you were the demon prosecutor he was like “ oh that’s not the edgeworth I remember the edgeworth I remember wanted to be a defence attorney” and stuff like that but it was other stuff he said sometimes like the way he talked about you it was so obvious that maya and I clocked his ass like as soon as we met him for the first time.” Ash ranted
“Oh?” Edgeworth asked what pray tell did he tell you about me?”
“That you were really pretty/handsome and he wanted to be with you when you two met again all that shit you know the stuff that makes it clear that you pine for someone”
“Like I don’t know your crush ash” Phoenix said flustered
“you wouldn’t dare” Ash all but snarled at Phoenix
“oh wouldn’t I” Phoenix said remember I have her phone number~” (the ~ is for a sing song like tone)
”don’t you dare tell her” ash said
“you remember the bet we made a few months ago”
“the one where I’d you confessed to edgeworth I’d confess to Sophia. oh no” ash said realising what just happened (name of my irl crush btw)
”so” Phoenix said in a chipper tone you would like to schedule it or me”
“Me” ash grumbled I’ll ask her later”
