Chapter Text
The sun rose, waking up Aziraphale. His shared room still felt cozy and warm. Luke stared at himself for about 20 minutes before going out the door, his uniform looked too clean, like it was thoroughly clean by 5 elves all at once.
"Luke, you're fine, let's go." Jacques tiredly spoke, he was rubbing his eyes multiple times. "Michael, wake up."
Aziraphale woke up, and changed his clothes into the usual Hufflepuff uniform. "Luke, would you be so kind to help me get my bag?"
"Okay, Mike. Is it okay if I call you that?" Aziraphale combed his hair and turned to look at Luke. "Yes of course, you may call me anything as long as you're comfortable with it."
"Thanks." Luke gave Aziraphale his bag. It wasn't much, but it could sustain for about 2 years or so.
Their first thing they did was head to the Great Hall. (Of course, for they need breakfast, I'm not going to starve these cutie patooties) Jacques managed to get a seat for all three of them.
"Thank you." Replied Aziraphale.
At the other two tables, was Crowley. (And the Slytherin gang)
Both of their eyes met, and it was the most relaxing thing since their departure.
---------------------------------
There was no sunlight, only checking the clock was the only way to know what time it is.
Crowley rose up like a zombie, his face looked like it had been dunked in water for too long. Draco woke up after him and stared in disgust.
"Ugh, David. Go take a shower, you look awful."
" 'Kay," He said lazily. The bathroom wasn't a battlefield, it somehow felt like a sanctuary for him. There were no fights, no attacks, and thankfully no break-ins. Crowley stepped into a free spot and began to wash himself thoroughly, taking off his glasses and turned on the tap.
Though he could just miracle himself clean, he didn't want Down Below to notice he was with Aziraphale. But he did make himself a bottle of shampoo, soap, and conditioner.
After his wash, he put on a bathrobe associated with a mini towel for his hair, then he put on his glasses. Going down the stairs, the gang saw him and questioned in curiosity.
"You look like you came back from the spa."
"Thanks."
Crowley didn't have his coffee today
They went to the Great Hall, their uniform looked more formal than the others, but they only changed just a second ago. Crowley brought his bag just in case.
Crowley sat at the right side of the group, unfortunately Crabbe was beside him, he didn't think much of it, but as far as he's known Crabbe, he's the most stupidest human alive.
"Ugh, I hope we don't get paired up with Gryffindor in Potions.." Draco mumbled.
The demon didn't listen, he saw the one thing that calms him, the angel.
-----------------------------------
After breakfast, everyone went their own way to class, Crowley was lost, entirely. Without a moment to lose, he sprinted straight to Aziraphale's new group of friends.
"Ange-uh Michael!"
Crowley's arm waved frantically to make Aziraphale notice him. Those beautiful blue eyes glistened through the corridors, staring at that one thing it loved, him.
"Oh, hello David." Aziraphale waved back and introduced his new friends.
"David, this is Luke," Luke waved excitedly at Crowley, but in a split second, his hand was down, he stared at him in fear. "And this is Jacques, our senior."
Jacques said hello and scanned Crowley in interest. "You do know those glasses are not permitted on school grounds?"
"Oh uhmm....no?"
"Well you have to take those off right now otherwise you will lose House points."
"Oh,oh."
"Take them off now."
"Nah."
"What do you mean nah? Your gonna make your House lose points and you won't win the House Championship."
"I don't care."
"I-"
"Everyone stop! This isn't the time to argue, we've got Herbology in 30 minutes."
Jacques was ready to throw hands to Crowley, but wouldn't that make the situation worse? That's what I thought.
"Oh David, what class do you have now?"
Crowley realized he had the timetable in his pocket, so then he rummaged through and unraveled the crumpled paper.
"Uhhh it says I have..."
His face lit up in excitement. "Astronomy."
"That's amazing, David!"
Crowley jumped up and down then did a little dance. "Astronomy here I come!"
Not a single goodbye, he ran as fast as he could. "Wrong way! Astronomy is at the Astronomy Tower, just next to Ravenclaw House!"
"Got it!"
He ran past Aziraphale like lightning, and there the demon has gone. "See you!”
“See you!”
—————————————————————
The Astronomy Tower was a long way to go, and Crowley wondered where Draco was and his bully group he calls his friends.
Just as he opened the dusty wooden door, they were already there, sitting at the far-right end of the classroom. "Oi, David. Come over here."
Nothing could not differentiate Draco at all in a crowd, he could always be seen bullying some kids at a corner.
"Who's our teacher?" Crowley asked, the bench felt bent and wonky, but at least he gets to do Astronomy......with these people.
"Professor Sinistra or whatever, I don't like astronomy." He felt offended by what Draco had said, but ought to keep cool, for now.
"Why do you not like astronomy?"
"Because it's boring, you just see the stars and constellations and that's it. Nothing more."
"Alright, alright, settle down, class." A loud strong voice came and filled the room. And there she stood, tall and timid, though she looked like she could strangle someone because they got the wrong answer.
"This is going to be a normal class, no sightseeing today cause, oh have some common sense it's daylight outside." Professor Sinistra walked across the classroom. "Hmm, so we've got a newcomer?"
"Yup," Crowley replied. "Transferred."
"Interesting." One step, two step. "And it seems you haven't read the school rules yet. No biker glasses."
"Uhm, professor?"
"Oh don't tell me it's a medical condition, I have seen many who tried and failed by my eyes."
"Uhh, professor, it kind of is."
"Really?" Professor Sinistra crossed her arms in disbelief. "I am quite sure I am allowed to see it."
Oh shoot, what do I do?
"Uh, sure, professor."
Professor Sinistra leaned closer, and closer. Crowley slowly and slowly took off his glasses, then.......
KADUNK
"Sorry, professor! I am so sorry I'm late!" A student (Slytherin), whom Crowley does not know of came late. Thank Satan.
"Thomas, you have been late since last year till now, do you want me to take away your House points by 30?"
"No, professor."
"Then you must not be late again, got it?"
"You got it."
Professor Sinistra looked at Crowley one last time. "I'll let you go, it's only your first day."
"Thanks."
......................
The class went on quite well, Crowley answered all of Professor Sinistra's questions. "Very smart, new student." She muttered to herself.
But then, just for a little moment, Crowley felt like someone was watching him. It wasn't Draco, of course, and it wasn't those two idiots that Draco has as friends. It was someone entirely new.
Even though Crowley couldn't make out who was watching him, he knew that if he shook off the feeling, the sense would come back like a boomerang, with extra sides.
"Oi, David. Can I tell you something?"
"Hm?"
It was unusual for Draco to whisper to him, I mean, he could've just talked to his two idiotic friends, Crabbe and Goyle. "You free this evening?"
Crowley knew that Aziraphale wanted to talk to him about Harry Potter and all, but curiosity hit him harder than a baseball bat to know what Draco wants.
"Sure. What for?"
"Me and my gang of Slytherins are meeting up at the Quidditch Pitch, and we wanted to give you a surprise celebration, cause we've never seen a Slytherin that actually committed to the Slytherin house."
"That's nice of you."
"Remember, don't back out."
As soon as Draco said 'don't back out', class ended, and Crowley kept his promise. This evening, Quidditch Pitch.
