MtlHockeygirl17: I’ve 2 questions: Why is Ilya Rozanov at Montreal airport boarding a flight to Boston? Why is Shane Hollander on the same flight? 1/2
2/2 They didn't sit together or talked. I don't know if they knew they were on the same flight. But it's strange.

NHLNews: Montreal Voyagers put Captain Shane Hollander on waivers.
MickMtl: What the hell? Why? Is his injury that bad?
MtlHockeygirl17: Is he going to Boston? I saw him boarding a flight to Boston yesterday.
MtlKing: No way! He would never put up with Rozanov!
DaveLore: Rozanov isn't in Boston next season, he signed with Ottawa last month
JeanInABottle: They can't let our Captain go. Are they insane?

Hockeynews: What's going on in Ottawa? Centaurs confirmed they signed Shane Hollander. They already got Ilya Rozanov. Will there be a crime series? Murder in the locker room?

Marly: You two are weird!
Pike: Really Shane, "See you in the shower" - like in Psycho?
Shane: No, like in - where Ilya asked about my hotel room number for the first time
Ilya: Was not in shower, was in locker room after lovely shower.
Pike: why did I ask? Rookie mistake
Ilya: no, was summer before our rookie-season
Marly: point proven - you are weird.
Marly: we should add Shane to the Bears wag-groupchat
Shane: now you are weird Marly
Pike: and Rozanov to the Voyagers wags-group
Shane: what's wrong with you people?
Ilya: why not?
Shane: if somebody calls you they hear your voice. Clearly, not a wag voice. And we both signed just with another team. Why should we spy on their wives for them?
Ilya: so, i can put your number down for the Cens-wags-group?
Shane: this is what you got from my message? And why not yours?
Ilya: 1. You know why. 2. I signed with them first.
Shane: No... just no.

Shanehollander: After eight years in Montreal, it is time to go home and play for the team which made me fall in love with hockey when I was just a little boy. I'm also happy to be able to spend more time with my family in the future.

When Ilya wins the Stanley Cup Shane is in attendance in a Rozanov-Hoodie. The media is in a buzz but gets only "no comment"

The next day Shane posts two pictures: 1. Himself in a Rozanov-Hoodie lounging on the couch, Ilyas head rests on Shane’s stomach, their gazes are locked, they smile at each other. 2. Ilya grinning like a mad man, lifting the Stanley Cup
Shanehollander: My amazing boyfriend, the second-best hockey-player in the league, just won the Stanley Cup for the second time! And I'm as proud as I was when he won it for the first time (and as he was when I won it two times). We decided now - we are tied - it is time to build something new on and off the ice and win together. We know there are people who won't understand that you can be crazy competitive kids and in a wonderful relationship at the same time. But we hope that our accomplishments, our hard work and dedication speak for themselves. Ilya and I push each other to be better since our rookie-season, or even before, when we both won the Prospect Cup in consecutive years. We were poised by the league and the whole hockey world to become rivals. What no one expected is we became so much more. Ilya, you are the light which leads my way, the love of my life and I'm the luckiest because I found you in 2008 at a rink in Regina.

At the same time Ilya posts two pictures: 1. Himself and Shane on the couch only a few days after Shane’s injury, Shanes head on his thigh, sleeping, Ilyas hand in Shane’s hair. 2. Shane in a Rozanov-Hoodie cheering in the Arena after a Rozanov-goal in the last game of the Stanley Cup final
Rozanov81: When the season of my beautiful and slightly good hockey-player boyfriend ended with a horrible injury, I was shaken to the core. But then my mother-in-law told me, I should win the Cup to make her son proud. And that made me remember. I remembered every goal we scored during our careers because we wanted to be better than the other. I remembered each hard-fought face off against each other - we just couldn't stand to lose, because of the bragging rights later those nights. And I remembered how it felt when he told me he is proud of me after I won the Cup for the first time (and how proud I was the two times he won it). This is for you, sweetheart. When I first saw you on the ice I fell for your grace and skill. When you introduced yourself to me later that day I fell for your freckles and your eyes. We were too young to realize back then what the feelings meant. I'm happy, we figured it out over the years. Thank you that you let me dream bigger. It's time to win together.

Me: Hi guys, we just want to say: we are sorry that you had to find out about us together with the rest of the world. We hope this is okay with you or at least will be when we are on the ice together in autumn. We'll give every ounce to win as a team. And we promise we're kinda decent players when we’re on the ice together. You must have questions and we are prepared to answer them, either here or in person when the training starts. Oh, btw this is Shane. I thought we should not overwhelm you with the whole rozanovness of Ilya right away.
Ilya: You won't know it because of his canadian golden boy image, but my boyfriend can be so mean.

Bood: Welcome to Ottawa guys! Yes, it was a surprise, but a good one. Happy for you! And happy for us that you are here! That's gonna be fun. Oh, and yes, many questions. I'll get them in order till practise starts
Hayes: Wow, the guys who broke the internet today are here. I was worried your rivalry would become a problem because we are a chill team. So, this is the best thing I’ve ever heard! Looking forward to having your backs!
Haas: I try to be chill about this, but you're both my childhood heroes. When Rozanov signed with the Centaurs it was a dream come true. But now I’ll also play with Shane Hollander! Omg

Ilya: Thank you guys! You destroyed my boyfriend because he has never played for a nice team before. We are so happy to play and party with you and your families in the future. See Shane, I can behave in a groupchat. We are offline now for a while because after 8 seasons of sneaking around in secret we can finally be ourselves out in the sun.

Bood: 8? the questions just doubled, only because of a number.

Me: Tanner, you were my rookie, i coached you. But if you want to call me 'kid', it's fine :) Thank you guys for being so welcoming and open minded! As Ilya said, we're offline now for most of the next two weeks. But before - i can confirm: yes, we've been kinda together since our rookie-season :) See you at the rink!
