Jason was getting better living in the mansion.
Is he still afraid? Yes, but he's gotten more comfortable now that damian is around. He noticed how damian isn't that scary once you get to know how awkward he really is.
So it's all going great. Although he's still awkward with the rest of them, he's contented with this much until he passed tim in the hallways.
He was holding his book upright at his chest, trying to stay calm as tim was gonna walk by. He was sure he's gonna ignore him like usual and walk in his own way,
but he felt tim fully stop in front of him, so he had no choice but to do the same. He looked up at tim to see the blank stare by the older.
Tim stayed quiet for a few seconds until he grinned at jason, "Are ya the new kid B adopted?"
Jason quitely shook his head, looking down nervously, he heard tim tutt as he mumbled, "another kid to abandon then, fucking bruce.."
Tim looked at jason as an idea came to his head, "Wanna hang out?"
Jason looked up in disbelief at tim, with a raised eyebrow, a silent questioning habit he picked up from damian.
"C'mon, don't give me that look, I just wanna get to know you before bruce ruins your life!" Well, that definitely wasn't...scary.
Tim moved forward, not touching but hovering over jason. "C'mon, I have a Nintendo switch you can play with."
At that, jason perked up. He has always heard about Nintendo switchs from other kids his age and was always curious to try it out,
He nodded excitedly and moved forward until he suddenly felt alerted.
What if this was a trap? A plan to take advantage of jason? These rich men he met back at home were always like this, tempting him with food and a warm place just to get what they wanted—
But...tim is batman's son, right? Batman won't adopt a pedo, nor was he one..so jason didn't have anything to worry about.
Still, he looked up at tim and said quietly, "Can I try it in the living room?"
Tim hummed quietly before nodding, "I'll go grab it then, meet ya at the living room, baby bat."
Baby bat? What does that..jason didn't want to question it at this point.
He went and sat down in the main living room, which never failed to fascinate him, he always saw rich people's living rooms, but they were never as big as this is, you can build an entire house just in the living room!
Jason was startled out of his thoughts as tim got in loudly, two switchs in hand, he grinned at jason and gave him one, sitting down next to him.
"I have a lot of games in here, you can pick whatever and I'll play along."
Jason looked at the switch with sparkles in his eyes, he kept looking at it, pressing random buttons until he figured it out, and started looking at the games.
They were all bought games, which was crazy to jason, even their fucking games were money-bought, does this house even have a cheap thing? Or are they a natural show off?
Jason randomly pressed on (animal kart racer) and started it, startled by the sudden sound coming from the switch.
Tim patiently explained all the rules in a boring way, jason could tell tim was a nerd, big one at that.
After the many rules were explained and set, they started the game, and jason was living his life at best.
He never thought there would come a day where he isn't just surviving, that he'll get to try a Nintendo switch, with his rich ass brother,
But it came, and jason couldn't be happier.
