LOG R.2:
The light cycle has finally resumed its regular shift. It left the other scholars rather confused - and many of them asked after Monomon. We turned them away, as determined prior. Perhaps it will catch on soon that she is not and will not be available. We are considering shifting our focus to the schedule sooner than planned and removing her from the staff list. We were going to wait until Quirrel had been cleared to leave Hallownest, but it might be simpler to just do it now. He's already unavailable enough as well, despite not having departed.
We'll wait for a while longer, regardless. It may make things worse. The other scholars would keep asking, anyway. It wouldn't save us any trouble beyond a little time.
In other news, we're now collecting data on the rates infection (or lack thereof). It'll be amusing to see when folk begin to celebrate. We give it twenty four rests, if only for the skeptical to be assured and for festivities to be planned.
